Review for BLACK Silicone Skin Case Cover for Creative Zen 4gb 8gb 16gb & 32gb + FREE SCREEN PROTECTOR:
Just what the doctor ordered.
A big problem with this very nice player is fingerprints: in no time at all it looks like you've just eaten a full English breakfast off the screen. Here is the answer in one: a rubbery skin and a screen protector for less than the skin alone costs elsewhere. The screen protector is arguably half a millimetre too wide but no matter - it needs to be larger than the hole in the skin. It does make the player a fraction more bulky which you may not like if you really wished you'd got one of the ultra-thin players, but the buttons are barely harder to operate, and there are holes accurately in all the right places for connectors, SDCard slot, and even mic and reset hole.In short, a great improvement on the clingfilm I'd been using to keep the fingerprints under control.

Review for Jabra BT250v - Bluetooth Headset With In Car Charger:
Personally I found it bigger than I expected, fiddly to fit (as it's larger than I expected the arm over the ear is thicker than I imagined), the piece that goes in your ear is fiddly but all this I could have lived it...it's the noisy crackly interference that's the pain and leaves me with my option but to award ONE star (it either works or it doesn't). I use a Nokia 6021 and when I listen to callers there is very frequent noise interference (every fouth or fifth word on a bad day)- a crackly type noise making conversation impossible.
I now found myself having my phone on loud speaker which defeats the object, sorry Jabby but you're going back!

Review for Panasonic TG8222E Twin DECT Telephone Answering Machine:
I have a 3 phone setup, plugged them all in and off they went, and yes you must use the plug in wall socket lead provided, dont use the old or existing one.
I dont buy BT ones anymore as they dont seem to last mechanically (buttons etc)so users reviews were helpful in directing me to Panasonic

Panasonic Cordless phone TG8222
Choosing a cordless phone is fraught with difficulty due to the wide variety of choice. I chose Panasonic based on the widespread good reviews by users as they provide the most important feedback, plus it has a headphone socket, something I use. Its also DECT so clarity isnt an issue. Not sure about the black glossy look but they do look cool as Im fed up with silver electronic itemsI have a 3 phone setup, plugged them all in and off they went, and yes you must use the plug in wall socket lead provided, dont use the old or existing one.

Review for US to UK Plug Travel Adaptor:
Would not buy from Microvillage again
First of all it took nearly a week to arrive rather than the 1-2 days. Then when it did arrive I got a small padded envelope, with the postage costs of £1.09 clearly visable on it - so what the £4.50 covers I have no idea - apart from a massive mark up and rip off. Then when I open the package I get the most totally cheap, tacky, unsafe looking adapter you have ever seen. Nothing like the image you can see on amazon for an US to UK adapter - this is some cheap Chinese or similar knock off. I'm not sure it's even safe to use looking at it - it looks like something out of the 50's! I cannot even tell if it's brand new as it had no packaging. Heck, I'm not even sure if it's a legal to use product and whether it passes UK laws. A totally shoddy experience indeed. I doubt I'll chase up the seller and demand a refund as it is an adapter, so he's advertised it 'correctly' but I'd advise buying a proper adapter elsewhere that in the advent of a problem you may have some comeback with. Aviod, Avoid, Avoid.48

Review for CLEAR Silicone Skin/Case for iPod Classic 80gb with Free Screen Protector & Lanyard:
However, it is very flexible and bendy and so the iPod does move around inside it. The eyelet on the outside left side is useless as the skin itself is too flexible.
In the view of the reviewer, it is not worth five pounds and potential purchasers need to either be aware of the flexibility of the skin or select a hard case instead.

Review for Sphere 1.3 megapixel Skype-webcam - PC and Mac:
Fortunately I don't want to use the microphone.
I got it up and running in a moment once I'd visited the Sogatel website and downloaded the drivers - there are no Mac drivers in the box but there's a leaflet telling you where to get them. Configuring it to run with Skype seemed simple - though you do need to quit the Skype application and restart it before it recognises there's a camera available.

Works fine on a Mac (Mac OS 10.4.11) except that the microphone doesn't work. There's a note on Sogatel's website that says the microphone is not compatible with Macs.Fortunately I don't want to use the microphone.

Crystal case for NWZ A818
Very impressed with this product. It arrived in two days on standard delivery. The case was packaged in a clearly labelled padded envelope. The case is whole when it arrives. You need to prise the two halves apart. This is fairly easy to do. Place the walkman inside one of the halves, then snap shut the other half. There were no instructions but it is a very simple process. The case is quite sturdy and will, I think, stand up to every day knocks etc. Time will tell. All in all I am very pleased with the prompt delivery and the quality of the case, and would recommend it to anyone.56

Review for Jabra SP5050 Bluetooth Speakerphone:
The first time I tried to synch with my Motorola phone it could not find it, but once the unit was fully charged it found it right away. Now, I just turn it on and, beep, they automatically find each other. So EASY that I find I really do use it every time I drive.
I wish I had bought a charger for home use, as it is a bit distracting to have the recharger cord down to the lighter while driving. That said, I have not yet charged it since my initial full charge... so the battery life is very good!

Review for Apple iPod Socks - 6 different colours:
I think they're great,a nice simple way to protect your ipod & it means you don't get a nice piece of apple design and then encase it in a bulky anorak case. Plus you get six, so I've given a few away too. If I'm sitting at a table or syncing or something I tend to use the sock as a sort of 'mattress' to put the ipod on to protect the back. It kind of cleans the ipod a bit too. I really like them, they're a nice simple solution, I have a similar thing for my ds.
One thing though... remember not to stick your ipod in your pocket upside down! once the sock has stretched a bit the ipod can work its way out if its upside down.

Review for Palm Treo 680 Sim-Free Smartphone:
I now have downloaded Google Maps (log on to Google website via the Treo, tap the link, maybe a minute or so to do) and the clarity/cleverness/speed of this free programme on the Treo is quite remarkable - see eg the way a Google maps search result (nearby restaurant) can be clicked straight into Treo Contacts. There are countless other neat touches in the way the device works, but for this reason one does have to invest some time in playing with it to work them all out.
The battery ebbs away steadily over the day, but as I have bought a cheap car charger I'll be fine.
Basically, a stunningly simple and resourceful smartphone. I am delighted.
Update: One awkwardness is that items sent direct from the Treo email area via Gmail do not appear in either my Gmail account or in the PC Outlook Sent box. Odd. Not clear to me whether this is a glitch or a failure to get my settings right somewhere. The investigation continues.

Review for Palm Treo 680 Sim-Free Smartphone:
Excellent so far
I bought my new Palm Treo 680 ten days ago and was much impressed by how speedily and simply it got started when I inserted my Tesco payg SIM card. When I upgraded to an O2 card with web access and tapped in my Gmail coordinates, the Palm downloaded 47 emails faster than I would have thought possible (ie less than a minute). It also linked to the Internet really quickly with one tap on the Web icon.I now have downloaded Google Maps (log on to Google website via the Treo, tap the link, maybe a minute or so to do) and the clarity/cleverness/speed of this free programme on the Treo is quite remarkable - see eg the way a Google maps search result (nearby restaurant) can be clicked straight into Treo Contacts. Half on, half off
I bought these earphones based on the recommendations of other Amazon users, knowing full well that people's ears do not come in a standard shape or size so each user experience will be very different.I only use them at the gym so my priority was that they should stay in my ears no matter how much I run around on the treadmill. The plastic piece that fits over your ear is a bit uncomfortable because they are too big and therefore do not sit securely on my ears. So despite the earphones never fully falling off my ears, the ear bud pops out of my ear which gets really irritating because I'm constantly pushing them back in or having to turn the volume up on my mp3 player really loud to maintain the sound.
The wire is far too long and it would have been helpful if Sony had put some sort of clip on the wire so that you could attach it to your clothes which might help the overly long wire to stop bouncing around which might then stop the ear buds being nudged out of my ears.
When the ear pieces are in fully, the sound quality is good and the bass is still pretty thumping. But all of that is undone each time the damn thing pops out of my ear. I can't tell you to not buy them, because the plastic ear piece might fit your ears perfectly. All I can say is that they don't fit me and because of that, keep moving around and ruin the sound and are generally really irritating!
