The phone itself looks cool and great, various options available but the one thing that is NOT available is getting email to your phone although I can email to my PC address I cannot email it to my phone!! The technical advisors were helpful but they couldn't tell me why this option was unavailable to PAYT customers!! The camera is great and I am still discovering what this phone can do and cannot do. The predictive text is not very good or because I am not using it right but words that they come out with are not very good and I have difficulty trying to correct it!! Still learning so that is why I have only given it 4 stars.4

Review for Samsung Genio Slide B5310 Mobile Phone Vodafone PAYG:
The bits I don't like are the alarm won't go off when the phone is switched off; if a calender item is due when the phone is switched off, it wont tell you about it when the phone is switched on. Both of these functions I had on my Nokia and I miss. The camera doesn't seem very impressive for 3megapixels and its weird holding it to take a pic because its hard not to slide the qwerty keyboard out at the same time.
Having said that, I am used to pretty basic phones, so it may be user error, but like I said the instruction booklet is naff, so how would I know?
I don't use the wap (too expensive) and I find it disconcerting that the G symbol for it is present all the time. I worry I'm connected and using money! But then when I do connect, it changes colour, so I think I'm worrying for nothing. I'd still prefer to switch that symbol off, though. Same for the Bluetooth symbol.
I like the wireless function, but my broadband is slow, so the internet's not very good on the phone, can't see much of FaceBook etc, so I dont bother.
All in all though I am pleased with it

good phone for the price
I'm a Nokia lover, so for me to buy a Samsung, it has to be special. I wanted a touchscreen and a qwerty keyboard and this phone has both, for a reasonable price. It was confusing to start with, the instruction booklet isn't very good, but once you get the hang of it, negotiating it is easy enough. The bits I don't like are the alarm won't go off when the phone is switched off; if a calender item is due when the phone is switched off, it wont tell you about it when the phone is switched on. I bought this camera phone for my wife who is not a techniphobe, but she has been working it fine.It was bought as it has a very good camera which she uses all the time. The only thing she has bother with is scrolling through the touch screen as it is quite hard to roll onto the items without opening other things on the screen especially if you are looking at old messages etc. My wife has only been using the camera for a couple of months, but so far there has been no complaints except for the touch screen scrolling.7

Very smart
Seem's to have all that I need and then some, the touch screen is excellent and with the on screen display for the dialing pad it makes it easy to see and use, great if you have"fat finger syndrome" quite intuitive to use and you hardly need to use the reference book that comes with it. The only down side is that it is locked to"O2" so I will have to get it unlocked but not really a problem. If your thinking of a cheap and fun little mobile then this could be ideal for most people. Also it has a REALLY nice display very clear pictures and stunning graphics.8
Review for Sony Ericsson W205 Mobile Phone on Vodafone PAYG:
It feels cheap and plasticky, response time to any keypress is painfully slow, memory provided is inadequate, downloads are expensive and DO NOT arrive. Editing facility is poor and not user-friendly, camera needs an extremely steady hand or just blurs!
You get so much better quality for the same price with a Nokia or Samsung. DO NOT buy this, it's terrible!

Review for New Sony Ericsson C510 Mobile Phone Vodafone PAYG:
Disappointing
I got this phone as a replacement for the Sony Ericsson K800i. Whilst the C510 is slimmer and lighter than the K800i, it also has a 3.2 megapixel camera (but not a proper flash) and a similar keypad layout to the K800i. However the similarity ends there. The C510's camera is nowhere near as good as the camera in the K800i: the C510's photos look grainy and out of focus. It is also slow and more difficult to get the camera to focus on the subject, and the LED flash is weak. The four concave control keys at the top of the C510 keypad are relatively cramped and fiddly to use, and it is too easy to make a mistake (especially in the case of the top two keys). Overall I cannot recommend this phone and am now looking to replace it with a model with a better camera and with less cramped control keys.16
Review for Orange Vegas X760 Orange Pre-Pay Mobile Phone including £10 Airtime - Black:
Anyway, the only thing I don't like about this is the texting. I text alot and was hoping for some decent features here, but it's let down by the following - It can't learn new words! You have to manually enter a new word every single time you use it. It doesn't capitalise the first word of a sentence and changing input modes is fiddly. My last phone was basic but could do all these things easily. Shame, because it is a nice little thing.
UPDATE:
Thanks but I have to say, compared to any 'normal' phone this is stupidly difficult to text on. I mean, I could happily text with one hand before! So how is this progress?!
The big problem with this phone is - it does not learn new words. So, if you want to type something unknown your best bet is to do it in stages, a couple of letters at a time and choose the predictive option on each bit. (Bear in mind it won't remember this word so you'll have to do that each and every time) Example: A word, Crocodile - Type CROC then scroll right 6 times and choose CROC, then type OD, scroll 4 times choose OD, IL choose IL, E. That's 23 button pushes. 23! Because the phone doesn't know that word.. and many many others.
Using the stylus is ridiculously long-winded for any normal small message.. Sorry, but swapping between predictive caps and predictive lower case is not easy. If you want to change modes, say to use a capital letter or number (no you can't just hold the key down like most phones) you have to:
Press eZi
Then press the mode
Then use the letter
Then press eZi again
And then press the mode again...
Just to use a capital letter!
This phone is a step BACK in terms of text communication - period.

Review for Orange Vegas X760 Orange Pre-Pay Mobile Phone including £10 Airtime - Black:
Decent but with texting let-downs
This is a touchscreen phone for £50, so don't expect anything flash. As far as a phone goes it does the job. It was advertised in my Orange shop as having '7 hours' talk time. False advertising there it seems.Anyway, the only thing I don't like about this is the texting. I text alot and was hoping for some decent features here, but it's let down by the following - It can't learn new words! You have to manually enter a new word every single time you use it. Not happy
The internal memory is very limited, you definately need a memory card, which I had to get a expert on mobile,s to set it up.I went on holiday, and for no apparent reason could not take photo,s as the phone,s memory changed from card to internal.
I have had this mobile for two Month,s It has been sent away to get repaired as the screen was freezing, It was also turning itself on and off
and switching to different applications.
I will now be without my phone for up to three weeks.
