good value for money

This monitor is well worth the money. I was going to opt for the flat screen version, but it was unavailable at the time, so I chose this. I run 1280x1024@85hz in WinXP and am quite satisfied with it. I had a few issues though:

On certain occassions there were some slight noticeable flickering along the edges of black text on a white background (A document I was reading on the web.) It was only visible for the text written in a large font however. But for the most part I didn't experience this.

The right part of the screen seems to be slightly discolored; this looks much as when you bring a magnetic object too close to the monitor, as you may have experienced. It's not very noticeable though, and barely a issue of concern.

I discovered these problems the day of purchase. I don't know if these problems are universal to this monitor type, but I can't
guarantee it's not.

Despite these issues I'm quite satisfied with it, and would recommend it to others, partly due to the low price. A friend of me has the flat screen version, a slightly better model, and he's content.
