Unbelievable

I was very skeptical buying these - I have owned some decent earphones in the past, paying up to £30 for each pair. These come in at a fraction of the price of every other set I've owned and I've got to say - they are among the best I've owned.

Discarding the rediculous price, these earphones are very well built. I have owned so many pairs because I don't go easy on my earphones, and so they always break. I've had these for 7 months now, and still work as good as the day I got them (and for me, that's a very long time).

Word of advice though - don't just put them in your ears and expect amazing sound quality. The technique is to lift the top of your left ear with your right hand and put the earphone in with left hand. Press it in slightly (not push!) until a snug fit is acheived. Use opposite hands for your right ear of course. I also find all sizes of the fitting are comfortable - it's just a simply matter of chosing which you prefer most.

With the earphones snuggly into your ears, an airtight seal is achieved. The noise insulation is very good - background noise is muted and no-one will be able to hear what you're listening to. The sound quality is good... not excellent but good. The bass is their strongest point - it's clean but powerful. As they fit into your ear not around or on it, they wont fall out easily. In fact I don't think they've fallen out once. The rubbery material is also comfortable - they don't hurt after hours and hours. Seriously, be careful with the volume you use (they are well insulated, so you don't need a high volume) and you should be able to use them for hours without a worry.

So, assuming you spend just a few minutes when you first use them to find the best way to get them to fit them into your ears, these WILL NOT dissappoint. Don't even get me started on the price... I would give these 4 stars out of 5 if they cost three times more than they actually do.

This case is the perfect partner for my 250GB WD passport drive and 1.8 metre USB 2.0 cable. It's tough enough to protect it from small drops, being sat on ect...
It's also great for housing a Nintendo DS Lite and several games.

Original order had problem. Phoned Sumnique, a replacement was with me in 24hours and I got to keep original! 10 out of 10!

Rubbish!

These earphones fall out of my ears all the time, the plastic edges make funny noises in my ear when they move, and in general they are extremely uncomfortable. The sound quality is fine but the earphones are awful to wear.

Very pleased

Item arrived very quickly. This little device has done the trick & did not cost too much, will also save me in the long run. One happy customer.

Just to point out.....

Other customers have commented that the Belkin Folio case has a small velcro strap that keeps the case closed which is not as the picture shows. I feel it must be pointed out that originally this case used magnets to keep the case closed- which though aesthetically more pleasing caused the iPod touch some problems as the magnets interfered with its operation. Thus Belkin redesigned the case to avoid any problems.

It is a very stylish and well made case. Well worth the money

Great price, but can suffer from interference...

I've had one for 2 months now and it's a decent bit of kit. For £6 it's great value but if your car has excellent radio pick-up, like my Focus, you may find that you experience some occasional interference.

The sound quality is pretty good but don't expect miracles. A great and cheap solution to using your iPod in the car, but I personally prefer the more expensive version that plugs into your cigarette lighter and charges your iPod while you drive - the sound quality is better and I've never experienced any interference problems.

Shame, but it is cheap!

This is a pain you don't need during a workout

These are a `one size fits all' headphones, which is great if you fit within its size range then you will probably be gushing for joy like the majority of reviewers here. On the other hand, if you fall outside of the size range, like me, then you are going to be in for a painful frustrating experience with this product. The earpieces are made of hard plastic with no cushioning and the neckband is designed to exert pressure on them to keep them in place during sporting activities. Unfortunately there is no means of making adjustments to make them fit comfortably. So if they are not a good fit then they will feel like someone is constantly trying to force hard plastic clothes pegs into your ear holes. Another problem with the design is that the neckband protrudes too far behind the head. This won't be a problem if you are only going to use them for jogging or cycling but if you want to use them in the gym as well, like me, then you are in for another painful experience. Whenever the back of my head came into contact with any surfaces such as benches, headrests or the floor then the neckband would be driven forward causing the earpieces to stab painfully into my ears.

I really tried to make these headphones work as I needed a set that would stay in place during a workout. But after many attempts I had to give them up, they were just too excruciating to use.

If it is at all possible I would advise potential buyers to find a shop, or a friend who has them, who will allow them to try them first before buying, if I had done so I would have known within minutes they were no good for me. On the plus side the sound quality is very good especially if you are an ipod owner.

Do what they're ment to, and well.

I use these Uniross battery's mainly for video equipment, and cameras. They have a good recharge time, recharging relatively quick.

I found even in constant use they last for a good amount of time, great price now to replace all battery powered devices in the house with these rechargeable battery's.

Not much more that can be said about these, great buy, work well.

Fantastic player

I used to own a 20GB 4th Gen Ipod but when it started playing up I began looking for a replacement. I looked at the latest Nano and was on the point of buying one when I asked myself"do I really need a screen?"

The answer was no. I have no interest in watching videos and I don't care if I cannot specifically choose a track. In many ways the whole shuffle concept is great as it is like listening to the radio in that you have no choice over the song order.

These new shuffles are much better designed than the old ones and have more space. If all you want is to listen to music as you make your way to work there can be no better choice than this.

Surprised.

Heading to Mexico and without my trusty laptop i thought i'd better get myself a mains charger for my 30gb ipod video to keep it charged and ready for a nice lazy day on the beach.
I stumbled across this and thought"hmm 1p, can't be that good but hey give it a go, what do you have to lose".
Product arrived after just 24 hours wait--- excellent delivery.
Product, lightweight,good looking and fitted wall socket brilliantly, fitted ipod just as well.
Charged my ipod without problems and then did exactly the same to my wifes ipod 4gb nano.
So folks, it does exactly what it's supposed to do, doesn't break the bank when purchasing and saves looking for that usb connection when your batteries start to fade.

Better than expected

I took a bit of a risk in buying these speakers, thinking that if you buy cheap you get cheap. Having got them and used them i found i was wrong and it was a risk worth taking. They look good, they are cheap and the sound is excellent, they will not only fill a large room but are perfect for blasting out your best summer songs in the garden. Great value!

Disappointed

I bought these as a replacement for my I-pod earphones because I thought the sound would be better and because I thought they would be quieter to those sitting next to me on trains etc. Well first the good points. The buds sit well in the ear although they feel a little odd compared with traditional earphones, (they would be better for jogging etc) and they do block outside noise fairly well, which is what they are supposed to do. However, they can still be heard quite easily by people next to you and the killer blow, the sound is tinny. The box boasts of"bass driven sound". Well I listened to them and alternated them with my standard issue ipod phones and the ipod wins hands down. The bass on these phones is poor. I wish I hadn't bought them and will use them only when I am jogging (never) or in the gym (as if!)

I have, within the last week, become the owner of both an ipod touch (check my review on that if you want) and this speaker system. Before I go any further, I need to make it clear that this is not a Bose (or any other make) bashing excercise. My first exposure to the Bose Sound Dock was in a 5 star hotel in Dublin that has them in every room along with an ipod (or you can bring your own ipod and dock it) - nice touch I thought. The sound is good on them but it's the looks that I really like. So, I checked reviews on most ipod docks and had a decision to make. The Bose (I feel) is a little expensive so I opted for the Klipsh iGroove HG (which I ordered at the same time as the ipod touch). This was to sit in my living room and in truth I was a little worried as to how it would look. Worry I should not have done. Everything about this machine oozes quality. The box, the instruction manual in it's matt black envelope and even the clear wrapper around the iGroove is an indication that this is a labour of love for a company known for it's cinema sound systems. The machine itself is pure quality. Gloss black, simple and understated modern design with a reassuring weight. I sat it up in my living room and placed the ipod touch in it and the whole system is stunning. The looks are matched by the sound. I have tried everything from Brooker T and the MG's, Scissor Sisters, Massive Attack, to Ennio Morricone and it sounds rich and clear. To conclude, by all means go for a Bose which, regardless what others say is a lovely looking machine. However, it is at the very least matched by the Klipsh iGroove HG in looks and sound (I feel the Klipsch is better). So, if you are looking for a quality system for your ipod this is it. I just can't understand why Klipsch aren't selling this at a more expensive price as I feel they could more than double the price and still sell it. Just don't tell Klipsch that!

good...VERY good

a nice looking black leather textured case. fits your ipod snugly ad is very good for its money. i wud suggest buying it with the charger that it recommends above. the only issue i do have with it its that the top stays down by magnets which are inside the case. these are circe and leave an impression on your ipod. its barley noticable but there all the same.

Great ipod tuner for car best i've ever had!

I have had the cheap ones in the past and they have all been c r a p!!!

This one however is prefect clear, i mean crystal clear can't believe how good it is comes with loads of holders from ipod touch, video, nano and others, however i did find that the one that was for the ipod mini did not hold the ipod in the cradle so that was the only problem i found.

easy to use no need for instructions really, just plug and press one button and then tune car radio to number shown and job done.

I love it i really do!

Excellent Bass

My personal preferrence for earphones is that i prefer a sound with more bass. Having already owned some over ear Sennheiser's with noise reduction technology I know that a default of this technology is that it gives more bass.
Well having looked at several makes and models of in-ear phones for use in the gym I opted for the CX400's. And I'm very glad I did. Excellent sound, loads of bass, so much infact that depending on what type of music I am listening to I sometimes change the sound type on my I-pod to give less bass!! All round excellent sound, very smart looking. I'd definetely recommend these to anyone!!

Don't buy out of principle!!!!!!!!!

There is no way this item costs £5 to ship. They charge you 1p to buy and £5 to ship. these are cheap ebay tactics used buy cheap sellers to escape tax or whatever and make it look like a better deal. I thought amazon was better than this, dont buy and get rid of companies like this for good.
