Amazing quality at an amazing price. These give BOSE headphones I have owned some real competition! If you can live with the retro styling (which I kind of like) then these are the only headphones you'll need.

Not bad, but not very good

I've recently brought these headphones with the intention of getting CX300 but misordered. I tried the CX300 that were my brothers and loved them, very good quality, but didn't mind misordering and thought I would try out these as well.

As I'm writing the review now the split cable extention has broken, after a couple of weeks of use, which is very dissapointing. I was initial surprised by the extention and how short the headphones actually were without them, not a good feature in my opinion: with the extention it's too long, without it it's too short.

The sound quality isn't bad, its quite bass heavy which is good, but I find the quality and the crsipness of the sound is not as good as the CX300, compared with it the instruments sound poorer and distant on the same settings.

Overall these are a good pair of headphones with a design flaw and not as good as the CX300 in my opinion.

Cleverly designed - very neat folding system - sound is a bit tinny - but what do you expect for the price - great value for money

Great little case

This is a great little case for all Sony Camera owners out there. It's soft enough to protect your delicate camera and yet tough enough to protect it from the elements. It does exactly as it says really. I'm curruntly using it for my Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 and have to say it protects it really well, doesn't leave any scratches or marks on the camera at all. It fastens with a velcro tab and has a small zipped compartment on the front for a spare battery or memory card. Overall, a great product and well worth the money. Much better value than other unofficial camera cases available. Plain, simple and good value for money.

Took it with me on holiday, so that I could listen to my ipod on the plane there and back, and it charged no problem.

Don't Hesitate!

I am no expert so i can only judge this product on my limited knowledge. Firstly the cable was cheap, so cheap in fact that i was worried about ordering it. My friend advised a cable in the £30+ price bracket and told me not to waste my money. I took the gamble. I am using it to link my Abigs multimedia player to a Sony Bravia LCD TV. I had no problems connecting the lead, it fitted snug in the sockets. Here's the thing that surprised me though, the picture quality with a 1080p video sample was stunning, equally as good as the more expensive brands in my opinion. Don't hesitate buying this product, what you going to lose?

i was searching for a realy good cleaner that wouldnt smear, so firstly i read the reviews it had on amazon , thought well it sounds as though its good and believe me its brilliant my screen was filthy !!! it doesnt smear and gets off the finger marks etc leaving the screen looking as new , i wouldnt hesitate to recommened this stuff to everyone its well worth paying that bit extra to know you get a good quality product. A+++

Totally does what it says on the pack

Bought to connect an iPod Shuffle to the car stereo. Worked perfectly. Small amount of wow at high stereo volumes readily corrected by adjusting volume of iPod. Recommend without reservation.

Not bad but also not Good!

I have to say to be honest, that even after reading our impressive reviews, I have to say that the earphones are not as good as I think it would be.

But first, lets talk about the good points:
- Arrived a day before stated delivery estimate
- FREE DELIVERY!
- Pretty cheap for some decent noise ISOLATING earphone
- Gold plated jack (if it really matters?)

Now the bad points:
- Not Hi-Fi quality (not completely proper high-fidality like my brother's awesome sound system)
- No good ear bud sizes for me, even the small, medium and large doesn't seem to suit me(so some people may not get good sound isolation and quality)
- Poor packaging (came with in a plastic cheap-po wallet, eco friendly?)

So basically, considering the above, it is still good for £8 and a little bit behind the Sennheiser CX300 (as tested independently by another expert) and the sound quality and isolation (as with any headphones) will improve slightly if you gently push the earphone toward your ears, if you don't mind walking around all day with your fingers in your ears.

But above all, I would recommend theses to people who want cheap but good enough noise isolating earphones for traveling but, it is not the best I would really say, not the best at all.

take ages for great sound

bought these and at first thought they would be good but didnt realise that you had to wait at least 1/2 hour till you can get a great sound out of them. i put it on then stick my ipod in, hit the volume button nothing then do it again some sound(maybe for a midget to hear) then i keep hitting it with my finger and nothing eventually after much swearing and leaving it and going back to it the volume eventually gets louder. not happy with the product at all. once its at a great volume it does sound great but takes a hell of a long time to get to the volume i want. keep looking for a button to wind it up.........lol.

Excellent

This is a really nice set of iPod speakers, I listened to all the available docking speakers in the Apple store in Glasgow and this set gives the best price/ performance mix.

The Bose and the Zeppelin speakers are better but they are 2 - 4 x the price and honestly, there's not that much in it.

The surprise here is that the bass is really good, especially considering you're listening to compressed music files (AAC in my case). The radio is a nice touch, this sits in my kitchen and I've been listening to a lot more radio. The remote is fairly basic, but it does the job.

So good sound quality, nice look and a decent price. unless you've got an iPhone this is the iPod speaker set for you (unless you're a die hard audiophile - in which case you're still listening to vinyl - right?!)

Excellent buy this charger now

This was better than I expected and absolute bargain and works a treat on the 80G Apple ipod - don't waste your money on an expensive Apple product. Very quick delivery from the seller (3 days) and good communications.

Perfect travel charger

Bought this about a week ago and have been using it since it arrived! Perfect for any person with an mp3 or even a phone who travels a lot. It's really small too which is an added bonus. I had previously bought a different version of these and it blew the second I connected my iPod to the wall...but this one is perfect :)

Best ever earphones

I use my ipod at the gym 5 days a week and i've always used the earphones provided by apple and they have always broke!!! One of the ear peices always breaks, i have replaced them again with apple earphones and again they have broke with the same problems (apparently this is a problem with there earphones) i have to say they are rubbish, if you are after good quality ear-phones then buy these ones...they may seem expensive but you pay for what you get...and they last...EXCELLENT EAR-PHONES, EXCELLENT SOUND....COULDNT GET ANY BETTER!!!!

Good in many ways....awful in others!!

I should have loved these headphones, I got used to using iPod headphones and lets be honest, their not the greatest in headphone technology!! But, having spent my 19.99 I was expecting a good sound, nothing life changing but I was expecting something really good. The problem I found was that they just didn't fit that well. The sounds was ok, when I pushed these headphones into my ear the sound was great. The bass was defined and the treble was clear. The mid range bass seemed a little lost in these headphones but thats to be expected I suppose.

But, really, I dont think I have exceptionally shaped ears or anything particularly odd in the shape of my ear. These headphones had three different sized ends and they none of them seemed to fit very well. The middle sized ones were the best but once I had them in they didnt stay in very long. They fell out all them time and when they did fall out the ends would fall off. So I was left with very average sounding headphones that didnt fit particularly well and the ends fell off all the time which meant I was constantly leaning over picking them up because its not cheap to buy new ones!!

I'm sure if they fit you these would be quite good headphones but even then I think I would recommend looking at others first. For me....well I think I might go back to my old iPod headphones, they dont cost any extra and the sounds pretty good, even without the extra piece in your ear they stay in pretty well!!

A must if you have an Ipod shuffle!

I brought this to use on holiday and for such a small gadget the volume is louder than you would think. Obviously not as much as a stereo but as it work's off batteries it's well worth £9.99. Its easy to use and the volume can be altered off the Ipod. Ideal to use when you are outside in the garden as an alternative to a radio or pack in your case to take away.

Sennheiser CX300 Black Earphones - Excellent Service from Beauforts

I must say the service Beauforts provided was brilliant. I ordered the earphones on Saturday evening and they turned up on Tuesday morning (delivered by Royal Mail) and were well packaged,. The product itself seems great too, great bass, probably the best sounding earphones I've had to date.

I'm also impressed with the aftersales service from Beauforts, I received a very nice courtesy email a few days after delivery, to be honest I can't fault them as a trader and would recommend anyone to buy from them.
