Don't get caught out!

Fantastic little player. I defy you to find better at this price!

Beware: Initially, I couldn't get Windows to see it. All it took was a USB setting change in one of Sansa's menus, but as the player was supplied discharged and the menus aren't available when connected to (powered by) the computer it was a bit chicken-and-egg to get it going.

Don't let this put you off. I like it a lot.

A great little unit

A great little unit comes with a remote controller which is not always mentioned but very useful. Controls are well placed and easy to use. I could have wished for a slightly better tone but mega bass is available which makes a lot of difference. I really congratulate Sony for using re-cyled cardboard packing instead of that ghastly plastic foam which gets everywhere these days. Just missed giving it 5 stars because the price is just a tad high for the speaker quality which one gets.

CUTE LITTLE GADGET!!!!

Cute little gadget but the manual is very easy to follow but also very straight forward to download and upload music. So I think it is worth the vaule if you just want a simple MP4.

Smashing little feature packed MP3 player!!

After months of frustrated searching for a compact, reasonably priced MP3 player with features such as recordable FM Radio, Photo Viewer and voice recorder I decided to take a chance with this little no-name Ipod Nano look-a-like-expecting the worst when it arrived, once I had it up and running I was very pleasantly suprised by what I found-an easy to use, shiny, pretty little thing which does everything I want it to do!

Unlike the big brand name MP3 players (which con you in to buying a seperate wall charger separately) this player comes with a wall charger, has a recordable F.M radio(a pretty decent reception too-here in Leeds anyway) and works with Windows Media Player-its really easy to transfer music, I just send album folders from My Documents to the removable disk and it works just fine!The sound is up to a pretty decent standard too, at least to my ears, certainly sounds as good as other much more expensive big brand players I have used in the past!

Its not all been smooth running though-I've had a problem where when I have deleted an album the player has froze and then deleted all my music and would not allow me to put music back on it when turned back on-however Tecknet were brilliant and advised me how to reformat the player via email and it works fine-although deleting albums is still a problem in practise its not enough to put me off this little player!

Plus points are ease of use, decent sound, it looks good, has great features and I tecknet have been great helping me with any problems I have had.
Bad points are the slightly awkward navigation from now playing to albums(which took a while but getting used to now!), the deleting albums freezing up problem,and it does not display album art as shown in the item description!!!A bit misleading that!

Overall I am very happy with this product-for the money I paid for it it was an absolute bargin-I have only owned it for a month or so and time will tell if will keep working for me but so far so good-I would recomend this to anyone looking for a bargin MP3 player packed with features!

Battery life

I recently bought 2 of these pink ones and found that after charging them for what seemed to be about a day, they seemed fine at first. There was no problem transferring tracks to them and the display was really good, also the size was really handy. However i found that when they were switched off and in even in the locked position, they would quickly lose their charge, i mean we're talking here about having to charge them for about 4 hours then getting about an hours play out of them. Eventually after buying several USB chargers (thinking it was a problem with the charging of them) and finding there was no difference, i'd had enough, so basically i sent them back. The shame of it is, is that this product has the potential to be fabulous, if only they sorted out the battery, i mean i wouldn't even mind if the product was a little bigger and the battery was more substantial.

Sony Good Job

Something I was looking for. It have all the features one can wish for from a 100£ small boom box. USB feature is the best one as I just have 22 different albums in it and still tons of space left in 2GB sony usb memory device. It plays it on and on with you need to interfere. Good sound quality.

1) it only plays sony usb ( as usual)
2) only supports mp3.( still any format can be converted to mp3 but if you are techi )

great gadget

I bought this because of the radio - and unlike the radio on my phone this can auto detect half-a-dozen stations wherever I am! easy to do fast recharge via USB and fast transfer of music. Doesn't have the loudest of volumes, but no doubt my ears will thank me in years to come and it is possible to boost this with a set of volume controlled headphones. Great for exercising as there are no moving parts (unlike some brands we all know) so there's no skipping or jumping of music.

If you buy this I can't see you being disappointed.

Excellent FM Transmitter

I replaced my iTrip with an iLuv FM Transmitter after my Dad recommended it.
I used to find the the iTrip would not have very good signal strength even when it was only a meter away. Now with the iLuv I can play music on both the lounge radio & kitchen radio at the same time, great for house parties!! The signal reaches from the garden so you can blast the summer tunes out!
Very easy to use, just plug in, use left & right arrows to set frequency, press and hold button 1 or 2 to save frequency for later, choose music to play on iPod & tune your radio to what the iLuv says. I Luv it!!
