Could be so much better

I'd been using Real Jukebox for ages before I decided to get myself a 'decent' MP3 player. At first, I was impressed with the layout of MP3Pro, it looks very good. However, after a while, you don't care how good it looks - you just want it to be quick and to do its job. Which it doesn't.

Ripping CDs is a nightmare. The CD database that is included in the package instantly names all the tracks on the CD if it recognises it. This would be great if the CDs it was finding for me were the CDs I was actually putting into the machine! It won't even let you rename them. Very annoying!

As for the other functions, the playlisting section is slow, inflexible and simply does not show enough information about the tracks. I find it really hard to organise them. Worse, a playlist has an upper limit on the number of tracks you can put in it so I can't even put all the music I want into a playlist. The animation function has to be the most useless and funny thing I've ever seen. I could do better on my old Amiga.

Having said all that, some of the features are pretty good. The editing facility I found easy to use even though it could probably do with a stronger keyboard interface so you can be more precise when selecting fractions of seconds in a piece of music. The graphic equalizers and special effects are good and work well. I haven't used it to burn a CD yet.

Altogether, it gets all the complicated things right but makes all the important, simple things excrutiatingly frustrating.

Don't buy it. There must be better ones out there.

Not what expected

This isn't as good as I thought it was going to be going on the advertisement etc. It has only a limited amount of diferent sounds on it so I couldn't put on what I wanted. It may work for you though if you want to keep your music simple but for the more advanced people you wont get very far!!!

Good!

As good as titanium but with improvements. The internet option for all these internet stations is good (2500 apparently).They are laid out in a logical way according to style etc. But beware! it doesnt like the windows Firewall it does like Mcafee internet suite 2005 Firewall though.
A good choice of internet stations which are in 5 hr streams and can be saved if you want to hard disk. But what do you want for the price? The Radio stations are free 24/7!
Using windows XP SP2 3.0 GHZ Mcafee internet suite .No Problems yet.

What a great product!
Not only does this product find Internet Radio Stations and lists them for you, but it also allows you to record them and the best bit is it records the individual songs and catalogues them for you, not as I thought records the whole radio session as one continous stream.
This allows you to go through the recording and just select the songs you want!!!

audio cleaning lab 2004 deluxe

very happy with this it did what i wanted it to do and im sure the techie could produce miracles with it.im not a techie and i just wanted to get an old album recorded onto my pc so that i can listen to it again. only disappointment was the adaptors didnt fit my hifi equipment with a turntable, i had to tape my LP and then use another cd player to record. still only took 1 hour.
