what you would expect for £3

I bought these mainly for the adapter so I can plug my headphones in but after trying the headphones provided I find them really good for my work as they sit comfortably in your ear and don't fall out much, I had a bit of trouble also getting left ear piece to work when I first tried them out but it seems to have gone away, problem did seem to be with the connection of the adapter to phone and not ear pieces themselves. I would still recommend buying them for £3, its handy to have the adapter for the radio alone if nothing else.

Amazing quality and value

I'm writing this for Matt, my grandson, who thinks this new phone is brill (he's 8) but his dad put his sports kit into the wash last Sunday and the phone went in too. Major angst! So we're getting him another one as he likes it so much.

The screen is nice and clear, and the menu easy to use. Just one button and it all comes up. The music is sounds good, and games to download are fantastic.

Looks cool, battery last 4-5 days with heavy use,

Standard Sony headphones..

These are identical to the headphones you get with the Walkman phones, other than the colour, as my original ones were grey and white. Sounds the same, which is the only thing I cared about, some of the best headphones around, especially for the price. I wish the actual headphones part came with a longer cord so you could use them with other items without it being 20cm from your head!

well worth it

bought these headphones for my C905 as i received the ordinary headphones wih it that kept falling out my ears. they came just a few days later in the packet, brand new and perfect quality. well worth it, especially for the price

Slide away....

Good looking and well featured phone but I know several people who have had problems with broken sliders, mainly caused by the frankly stupid"shake" song changer (what were Sony thinking ??). The keypad is also a problem with keys cracking, though my friend had hers replaced at the Carphone Warehouse under warranty ok.
I'm a big fan of Sony Ericsson phones but this one is not recommended for those who treat their phone robustly!

not impressed

A good price but on 2 different phones, the fit is too tight and it cannot be pulled out easily. At one point I pulled it out to find part of it still attached to the phone. This bit did come out of the phone and was easily re-attached. However, I would not reccommend it.

I love this phone I had the K800i and it was great with one issue the lens cover then I washed it and got an upgrade the K810i this phone resolves the lens cover problem and looks great. it has all the features one needs including web browsing,a 3mpixel camera with zenon flash picture enhancement programme and video with editing suite a music player, expandable memory using the memory card, video call, games, e-mail and they included a phone to top it all off.
All in all one of my best & favourite purchases

Small and mighty

These speakers are great - ok they aren't hugely powerful, but for the size the quality is pretty good and they come in a cool little case. Really dinky and don't need their own power supply as they take power from the phone. FAB. Thanks.

Sony Ericsson C905 Phone Speaker Problems

Avoid this phone at all costs. The speaker on my phone went wrong after just 2 months making the phone useless. A quick search on the web showed numerous other customers with the same problem.

I tried to return the phone to Vodafone for repair, but their response was that I had to buy another phone, while mine was being repaired!!!! The manager also confirmed that 6.5% of the c905's are faulty and Vodafone customer service said that if the phone had the same problems three times in a month they would replace.

The worst phone and service I have ever received

W910i is not a bad phone for the money!

Having previously had the Sony Ericsson K800i, which was absolutely faultless in every way (even working after being dropped, getting wet etc) I thought I would stay loyal to SE and had a limited edition white W910i.
Having owned the phone now for over 12 months, my experience is mixed. I miss having a flash and zoom on the camera. The menus and navigations are very similar to the K800i so not too hard to adjust. I have fairly big fingers and the centre button is not very good for me!
The sound quality and music players are very good and there are some quirky features, such as the musical slide show!
The reliability of my phone is not brilliant however and it does freeze a lot and close down, which requires re-booting. Also the battery life is not quite up to my K800i but very good nonetheless. Very fast internet and very easy to search with the new google menus.
Overall, despite its flaws, some of them minor, it is a good phone and the large screen is excellent.

Great phone

It is a very nice phone. Brilliant camera and music player probably the best i have heard on a phone.
The keys are easy to text on and very easy to control.
The mobile itself is very easy to use and I recommend it to anyone

Go Buy 2000 supply their products without any means of identification whatsoever. The brand new product I purchased came with, no means of initiating the warranty period and the authenticity of the product could not be verified. I believe that other sellers products are genuine but Go Buy 2000 supplied a so-called brand new product to me in a re-sealable plastic bag! and not a blister-pack as advertised. They will also tell you that Amazon advise them not to refund postage costs. This is of course a lie. Of course Amazon do not advise their sellers not to refund postage. Judging by the feedback Go Buy 2000 are getting it can only be a matter of time before Amazon suspend their account. If you don't want to be disappointed please use another seller

ok... but not great

i got this phone mainly because of its cybershot camera. I was fairly impressed with the camera - pretty good for a mobile phone, but not as good as my canon ixus 40. My main complaint is that the camera is fairly slow at taking photos, and there is quite often noise at low light levels (still don't think the flash is as good as a proper camera)

But my main gripe is that the phone is generally slow and unresponsive, compared to a my previous nokia 3510. The joystick in particular gets rather annoying to say the least. The headphones aren't very nicely shaped either, but do have a little mic so u can answer a call remotely when listening to mp3s

I'm upgrading to a n73 now, and don't think i'll miss the k800i somehow

A Disappointing Throw-Back

I got the C902 as an upgrade from my Sony Ericsson K610im, having been very happy with the quality and ease of use. At first glance the C902 looks similar to the K610, with added bells and whistles, but it quickly becomes apparent that there are a number of flaws.

The keypad is terraced. This means that the top of each key digs into your thumb, leaving you feeling as though you've been texting for hours rather than the brief time it takes to type one text. Your thumb will quickly develop a groove and you will find yourself howling at the idea of a conversation, let alone a swift"I will be late home."

The camera was received with general applause in reviews. I did not buy the phone for the camera and so can come from a different perspective -"This is interesting, let's try it". The touch screen options around the edge of the screen are probably uncalled for. The quality of picture is fine, although it's never going to be comparable to quality one-purpose cameras.

The biggest issue is that the uncalled-for touch screen buttons mean that the screen is now much thinner than previous models, something that is less noticeable in pictures and when the phone is off.

This model has also swapped some buttons around. Where most models used to have a"menu" button, there is now a VERY annoying link to your phone provider's site, which you can find yourself accidentally connecting to nine or ten times a day. This is impossible to disable unless you debrand your phone, voiding the warranty.

All in all, I'm disappointed even though my love for Sony Ericsson phones has been unswayed for so many years.

Very good

This product was of the perfect quality and was sent to me within a few days of me ordering it. I love it!

Disappointing.

I bought this phone about 18 months ago- so I have certainly allowed time to get used to it. After my dated nokia phone, I was looking forward to getting a new one, particularly with such a good built-in camera.
However, as some people have pointed out, the phone does have its flaws. Beware if you have tight pockets! The phone can easily switch on by itself, and I once found that it had connected itself to the internet for about 10 minutes in my pocket.
Normally the key-lock can cover up these problems, but the phone automatically switches the camera on if you accidently slide the lense cover on the back of the phone (an easy thing to do). Battery is soon wasted, and many pictures of the inside of your pocket may come back to haunt you at a later date!
The joystick used to navigate around the menus is okay but I find has stiffened up over time and is less responsive than it once was. This makes it particularly hard to play the free golf game that comes with the phone!
And maybe this is a problem found in many phones, I don't know- but this phone is quite prone to freezing. Occasionally it will just stop, and you have to wait a few minutes for it to kick back into action.
My final gripe is the whole battery setup. I'm not a regular user of my phone, yet my battery was useless after about 14 months and refused to charge. About 4 months earlier, the charger itself was knackered and did nothing to charge my phone- I had to use the link cable that connects to the computer. I barely used the charger, and it appeared in perfect condition, but never mind. Eventually, the battery wouldn't charge even on the computer. I've bought a replacement battery and still have to use the computer cable to charge it- and I'm surprised it still works, considering the little metal links on the end of the cable have gone down in number from maybe 25 to about 5. I've never been rough with the cables, so don't understand how they can now be of such poor quality.
Now, to the good points. The battery initially was very good, and you could leave it on standby for up to 72 hours, and charge up mostly in less than an hour.
The camera is outstanding for a mobile phone- very impressed. Makes this a 3-star as opposed to a 2-star review.
Also has a nice menu etc, much better than my old phone, although this isn't unique to the phone.
The phone itself looks very nice too, and manages to keep in pretty good condition even without a cover. I've had it in my pocket for about 18 months, and the only evidence of this are a few unnoticable scratches on the screen.
Overall, I would say this isn't really worth the money- if you can find a cheaper phone with a good camera, chances are overall it will be better than this.

Great Phone.. Still

Have just brought this phone after losing my Samsung D900i on holiday, and this phone has lived up to expectation.

The phone is bulky compared to the D900, but not a big problem at all. The camera is brilliant, and the music player is surprisingly good quality. The phone is also customizable with themes and such. Keypad is also easy to use. One thing I would like to have improved is the battery life, but its long enough and I charge frequently so not a big problem either.

Overall this is a recommended phone, especially at this price!!
