short lived excellence

As an awful lot of otherpeople have already stated about this product, they give excellent sound quality and are excellent for blocking out peripheral noise (excellent for London Buses!) BUT! they seem to have such a ridiculously short lifespan. I've had mine for little over a month and am already experiencing a similar problem to many other users whereby the sound in the right ear-piece cuts out frequently. You can fix this by wiggling around the jack but this is an exercise in frustration as it clearly loses sound again.

In short 5 stars for product when working, 1 star for longevity!

Changed music listening for me...however 7 months later..!!!

I first bought a pair, loved them, lost them but didn't hesitate to buy a replacement in February of this year... They are fantastic....clear ....a perfect fit and I literally cannot hear anything outside my music when I'm using them..HOWEVER....today 22/08/2008/..7 months after purchasing them,the right ear is touching...AHHHH...I am very disappointed...I really didnt expect this to happen...Im thoroughly upset....I don't know if that should effect the ratings because it was a highly impressive product, but now...hmmm...

I was slightly worried by the other reviews....

....but I have to say I am delighted with these cases, I bought two to protect an old 2.5 inch drive and my new western digital 250 gb pasport drive.

The pouch might be slightly bigger than required but there is a band to hold the drive in place and room for a USB cabel on the other side.

The case is well made, solid and certainly feels as if it will offer excellent protection to my nice new external hard drive.

I am delighted with it.

Does the job well

This cable works well connecting my PS3 to my Toshiba REGZA HD TV. Blu-ray movies come through crisp and clear with good image and sound quality.

My only complaints are that the cable is a little short (although this seems to be a common feature of all HDMI cables) and fairly rigid, meaning it cannot be twisted around stands etc. very easily.

These are however, only minor problems, and overall the cable does the job well.

not wat it says on the tin!!

they it did 1080p resalotions and it dosent its the same as my other hdmi cable and that only cost me 98p!!! from amazon i am so dissapointed and im getting a refund >(

Not all sporty

These headphones provide great, crisp sound quality. However in terms of sports durability, this is where the PMX70 slips! after using these in the gym i would get small electric shocks in my ear as they were reacting to my sweat due to the metal on the earbud! NOT GOOD FOR SPORTS OR GYM!!!!

So quick and easy to set up - Brilliant!

We don't often replace our televisions - they seem to last, but, in the past, every one has been bought with the knowledge that it would take at least half a day to set up. So with trepidation we ordered the Sony from Amazon. We needn't have worried, our new television was delivered almost the next day and took about 2 minutes to set itself up. All you have to do is plug it in and wait for it to do it's thing. Brilliant.

The controls are very easy to use, the drop-down menus very helpful and the picture is superb. We couldn't be more pleased and would recommend this to everyone... and a friend said the picture was better than his Panasonic, despite the fact that he lives in London and that our reception can be a bit erratic. Well done, Sony

Very good value for money!

I was looking for some ipod speakers to give as a gift, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. These are ideal- arrived promptly and in pristine condition! I couldn't believe the sound quality when my sister plugged her ipod nano in- clear,and not at all distorted,can also go very loud, just as good with mp3! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they can't be battery operated- but at the price I paid for them I can't complain! Very satisfied:)

Great sound, great price

I would highly recommend these earphones. One of my iPod earphones blew so I popped into Curry's and found these for £40. I didn't really want to spend that much so decided to try online and found them for 1/4 of the price on Amazon. The sound quality is amazing and makes such a difference in comparison to the standard iPod earphones (really good base as well). Only annoying thing I found is the wire getting twisted and stuck on things but if you wear them around the back of your neck you should be sweet.

JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!

Having scouted around various stores for the perfect i-pod speakers for my i-pod touch I came across this item in Amazon. All the reviews are spot on here, this is a lovely piece of kit for parties, which I have a lot of! and by buying with Amazon saved a whopping £50. The sound is excellent and does not distort when you pump up the volume.
Highly recommended and not to be overlooked.

No regrets

I was looking for a good sized, HD ready TV for my bedroom. I had done a lot of research into TV's and i had a lot of requirements, such as at least 720p native resolution and at least 1080i input sources, HDMI, a way of using it as a second monitor for my PC, multiple scart sockets etc. This TV's brilliant for the money. The picture quality is great even watching standard TV (flat screens aren't good at non-native resolutions), the sound quality is brilliant, a lot better than i expected, as usually small speakers in flat screens produce a tinny sound, this doesn't. Theres a lot of settings for both picture and sound to get the most out of what you are watching.

The built-in freeview works great and the EPG on it is easy to use. I have my PC connected to it via component cables as i bought a wall mount that fits 200x100 VESA standard and it covers the VGA and audio out connections, that is my only issue, but that is down to the wall mount, not the TV. If you plan to use the VGA and/or audio out connections and have the TV on the wall, make sure the mount only goes up to the 100x100 VESA standard so it won't block/cover them.

DVD's look great on it (especially that i used to have a 15" TV), and HD even better. I have no regrets buying this TV.

Pointless product

I would strongly recommend against buying this product. Whilst the design means the click wheel is covered (making it extremely hard to scroll through menus etc.), the actual screen is not protected by anything, which defeats the object of buying a case to protect your iPod in the first place.

Don't waste your money on this product, find something more suitable that will protect your iPod properly.

Excellent

Very impressed with this, great value and good quality. Has a button down wire holder so for the first time I don't have a pocket of earphone spaghetti. Top has a magnetic closer too.

Useful small gadget - works on my D80

This thing works great with my D80. It does exactly what is promises to deliver, nothing more, nothing less. Have found this useful when I take group photos (with myself in the group). Works from behind the camera as well if used indoors.

Also is very useful if you want to use it for long exposure and prefer to avoid any shake...

Its not expensive but quite useful when you need it. Go for it ...

Waste of Money

I have owned these for less than a month and already they are looking to be thrown away. I have had to even after a week start trying to fix then as the wire casing breaks and the wires are exposed in several places and he headphone pieces themselves fall apart, if your lucky enough to avoid this thou they do still rattle as the sound part in side does not seem to fit the casing. I bought these as the apple headphones fit well in my ears but are far too expensive (and themselves unreliable) but after experiencing these i would be willing to pay the ridiculous £19 for the apple headphones. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ANS MONEY ON THESE

Love it Love it Love it.

Having already bought 19 inch - decided too big for the kitchen - so gained a freeview TV for bedroom and went back to try 15 inch too. Both TV's arrived in 2 days and extremely well packaged. Easy to load - even for IT moron like me. Currently both also working very well with cheap and cheerful internal aerials. I live on the coast in Hants. Picture and sound quality great for smaller TV's

Minor gripes but decent sound.

Personally I find the sound quality of the CX500s very good and they are comfortable headphones with a useful range of accessories. The noise isolation is reasonable for the price, though one byproduct of this is very noticeable"cable rub" noise.

This may seem an unusual complaint (though I've seen it mentioned in a number of other reviews) but the packaging really is appalling. You have to work hard not to slice yourself and the headphones to pieces whilst hacking your way in. I am guessing it is designed this way to make them difficult to return to shops once opened, but it is both a waste of plastic and a real annoyance.

Just as brilliant as alway!

I had owned a pair of these earphones for over 2 years now and they never let me down until after 2 years of use and abuse from my constant ipod playing they started to become tatty, but in no means broken! So i decided to invest in another pair of sennheiser cx300's after reading bad reviews on the newer models.

I recieved them today and once i had got them out of that typically annoying packaging that is impossible to open, i pluged them straight into my ipod to test them out and see if the sound quality met up to the standards of my old cx300's.

I can gladly say that they did. They still offer that fantastic bass and sound quality aswell as the fabulous noise cancelling which is handy when you dont want to listen to someone rant on lol.

I would definately reccomend these earphones to anyone who wants great sound quality on a budget! 10/10

DVD Player case

Functional - BUT made of very cheap looking smooth black plastic. No wonder only the internal view is being shown in the Amazon photographs. Disappointing appearance. However, as it WAS cheap, maybe I shouldn't have expected a better looking bag.
On the other hand, it was delivered very quickly and has arrived before the DVD player I ordered at the same time from Amazon.
