Tight Fit for S9600

I echo the points about the quality and value that previous reviewers of this product have made. However, I did not realise how substantially bigger my S9600 must be compared with those who describe the case as"commodious".

Both this bag, and the more sculptured, more expensive, case, are listed on the Fuji web site as suitable for a S9600. Given the commodious comments, I assumed it would be big enough for both my camera AND the WL-FXS6 wide angle converter lens. It is not!

To get the camera in I had to remove the divider in the main body of the bag and even then it has to be pushed in, back first and lens uppermost. You can't do it lens first unless you are prepared to drop the camera strap into the bag first, as there is no way you'll be able to squeeze the strap in past the body if you do it the other way round. Either way, you won't get more than some XD cards, or something equally flat, in the pocket in the lid of the bag as the lens comes higher than the zip to the lid.

The converter lens is wider and deeper than the pocket on the front to allow you to carry it there, though, as others have said, the pocket is big enough for batteries and a filter.

Nor is this a case for quick extraction of the camera. The soft leather means the case deforms as you pull on the twin zippers round the lid. It becomes a two-handed job as you struggle to grab a bit of the bag so that you can get the necessary tension before you can pull on the zipper tab.

Given that I can't fit the lens in, if it wasn't for price, I might well have been better off getting sculptured case for my S9600.

I like these headphones, they cope really well with my heavy metal, hard rock, dance etc styles of music. Even at full volume there is no distortion, no overpowering bass (there is enough bass).

I use apple lossless encoding on my music, and these headphones can cope with that, very low bit rate music sound terrible through them .

They do tend to fall out of my ears when im jogging, or fast walking. They are good for use at a pc or just while slow walking.

Excellent - though takes time to Setup - Superb Support Team

I deem myself a technical person, though struggled at the beginning when using this. Having bought this a couple of months back, I really now feel more confident using the product to control the 7+ remotes that it has now replaced, since it now controls the: Panasonic TV, DVD recorder, AV Amp, Sky receiver, Technomate dish receiver & freeview box.

Has 2 main modes:
- Activities (you can have 6 of these), where one single selection from the main screen, multiple items can be switched on/off (in a macro format) to ensure the correct setup.
- Independent Control - whilst on an activity, to switch to another equipment kit and control it.

It does require a PC to install the software to settings, and to 'tweak' all the options that you want - again, takes a bit of time to get used to it, but very good. The software can program the remote using the database of the existing kit that you have identified that you own, and can also learn any additional keys directly from you remote, or even learn macros (a combination of key presses) - useful to program in to skip 3 mins on the DVD recorder to skip the ad-breaks.

I had problems programming the SVS recorder, though after a call with their Support team, they were able to indicate to me this was a known problem, and they uploaded the alteration to my online account (created at setup), which then resolved it. The support team were extremely helpful, so don't be shy and English, use them, as it saves a great deal of frustration.

The software has some additional nice touches, such as scrolling through photos when you dock/charge the remote, and allowing favourites to be setup on the screen (6 per page), with 75x44 jpg/bmp files - it is enough to impress anyone that comes around, and ensures that it is clear for anyone who uses it.

Only real negative, is that the Logitech is only compatible with the Squeezebox Classic, and not the more recent Squeezebox Duet (since this uses wi-fi rather than i/r for the control).

Really pleased with this

I bought these discs to go with my new Panasonic DVD recorder. Before I bought a recorder, I had never heard of DVD-RAM but am very pleased. The advantages over normal DVD-RW include the fact that you can watch a programme whilst it is still being recorded. This is great for those of us that have to put children to bed and invariably miss the first 10 minutes of something! Combine that with lots of editing features and re-use (great environmentally), excellent price and you have a winner.

Not bad, but overpriced and unreliable

I have been using this model now for seven months,and apart from only getting about fifteen channels, when I thought I would get dozens as it's digital I am still quite pleased with it.But what really made me sit down and write this review is that I had to send it back today as it started playing up which does happen, (but you do get a two year warranty).Unfortunately you have to send it back to pure at your expense which is not cheap as you need to insure it as well for peace of mind. If you buy it from amazon like I did they will only exchange it within six months after which you will have to send it back to pure. Bear that in mind if you are buying one (it's a lot easier taking it back to a local store) under pures two year warranty.

These headphones have lots of bass.

They sound good when listening to music with little bass in it. Radiohead, muse, etc etc sound really good through these heaphones.

Playing Dance music through these headphones causes the music to become distorted due to overpowering bass.

Excellent Product !! Excellent Value for Money !!

Previously I had been using paper screen wipes to clean my laptop screen but when I bought a new 26" TV I thought this investment deserved something better.

Also I had noticed that the screen wipes are tending to be a little dry when I pull them out its container.

The product was despatched and arrived very quickly.

I've been using it for the last few weeks and I am delighted with its cleaning power and ease of use.

It is excellent value for money especially as only a very small amount of gell is required and the cloth is machine washable.

Despite the very poor review I have just read, I have no hesitation in giving this product"5 Stars" and recommending it to others for all LCD screens such as in laptops and TVs.

Size isn't everything.

Fast delivery from Amazon (as usual) I bought these for under £15 and was not expecting to much, wrong, best £15 spent in a long while, nice"smooth" sound and plenty of volume plus a"bass box" made these speakers very pleasing on the ear. If your in doubt like I was, give them a go, you won't be disappointed, small in size but don't let that fool you, they ARE up for the job, even a desktop remote(complete with headphone jack) that operates the volume of these super little speakers,

ok but not great

I like the coloured end caps for the legs but this is the most basic tripod!

This tripod does not have a swivel head on top which means you can only video things that are straight in from of the video. although you can slightly angle the view up or down by spreading the tripd legs in different parts you cannot get an acute angle.

Not good if you are doing product reviews for you tube!

I bought these to use at the gym with my Creative Muvo. They are excellent at blocking out the ridiculously loud music that is always playing there so I can listen to my podcasts in peace!

Panasonic 32LZD80

We did quite a bit of research before buying, went to look at various models and compared but kept coming back to this one. We got a great deal from John Lewis (sorry Amazon) £599 including 5 year guarantee. It was very easy to set up, works brilliantly with our recently purchased Panasonic DVD EX768 recorder and we're really delighted with it.

Far better than ordinary DVD disks

I recently bought a Panasonic EZ45 VCR/DVD recorder. Very pleased with it - though the first one had to go back, as (basically) DOA... It works well with DVD -R/-RW disks and quality is excellent, though running time is not as long as would be ideal (roll-on HD or Bluray!).
But, as recommended by Panasonic, and other reviewers, you only get the best out of the Panasonic machines by using RAM disks. I bought these from Comet - after trying many other stores - for only £9.99 for 5.
They really transorm use of the recorder - effectively giving you a (small) hard disk drive, that can be used for editing (eg removing commercials) and Timeslip (i.e. watching the beginning of a program while still recording the end - HOW???) - both very useful.
The 9.4GB RAM disks are only double sided versions of this type - and they must (it seems) be manually turned over (like an old-fashioned LP!), so no great advantage, compared with using 2 of these (4.7 GB) disks, instead. (More chance of losing valuable recordings if double sided, and more confusing, too..)
So I would highly recommend this product - with two small caveats:
1. Capacity not huge - 4 hrs recording time in LP is actually worse than VHS, tho' quality is probably better, and much easier/faster to find your programs.
2. RAM disks will NOT play in the vast majority of ordinary DVDs - so you need another Panasonic (or similar model from Toshiba, etc) if you want to watch your recordings in the bedroom, for instance.

Well worth the money!

For under £12 for this, you can't go far wrong, very easy to put together & attach to the wall, 3 drill holes into the wall & it's ready to go up, big thick screws, so takes a good weight upto 20kg, tilts & swivels exactly how described in product features & For the installation of LCD and Plasma televisions with a screen size of 10" to 30" it covers a lot of good size tv's

More than just cheap and cheerful, this one's positively sunshiny

Fantastic low price for a 19-inch HD-ready widescreen LCD with Freeview, though an initial glance does make it easy to see where the savings were made. The stand is a bit flimsy, the entire backplane flexes away from you when you push the power lead home, and some of the Freeview features appear to have been implemented as part of a GCSE project. For example, rather than showing a grid full of channels and times like you'd see on any standalone digibox, this Polaroid's electronic program guide (EPG) only shows limited information on one selected channel. It's easily the most useless EPG I've ever seen, and as such means you're missing out on one of the main reasons to go digital. Don't cancel your Radio Times subscription just yet!

Thing is, I'm not sure that such things would put me off. I'm still amazed at the vibrant picture, the decent quality sound, and the remote control layout which is a paragon of clarity. I bought this TV for my parents to use in their kitchen, and not only does it blend in perfectly with its surroundings, they can also actually use it and understand it and enjoy it. There's no reason it wouldn't work brilliantly in a bedroom too.

So to summarise:

+ Takes no more than 2 minutes to get set up
+ Your mum and dad can use it
+ The right holes for wall mounting
+ VGA connection means it can double as a 1440x990 monitor

THE BAD
+ Alarmingly low quality in places
+ Program guide a complete joke

Really really really disappointing

I thought - after having bought several pairs of Sony over-the-ear earphones for running and exercising, and having had them break after several months - that it was time to invest a little bit more money for a better quality product.

These earphones are nowhere near what they should be. The sound quality to start with is at best average and they sit very poorly in the ear. At least they do before you start doing anything remotely active and sweating. Then they decide to pop out with monotonous regularity. If you dare sweat at all - or run in the rain - the sound all but disappears. They have no water or sweat resistance at all as far as I can make out. I have no idea how much they tolerate regular usage because they make me so cross I can't stand using them. The only reason I have given two stars insted of one is because I liked the clip that comes with them to attach the cord to you clothes.

For the same price you can several pairs of Sony MDR-J10 headphones which sit very firmly over the ear, have substantially better sound and are just better all round. Avoid these.

A good quality item

Delivery was very fast and came well packaged.

This is a lovely case for my Apple iPod Classic 80GB, I am so pleased I made the right choice. It is of a nice quality at this price which I think is quite reasonable. I would highly recommend this product. Do buy you will not be disppointed.

My television unit was well packed and completely cushioned with large blocks of polystyrene.
The beautiful chrome legs are made from metal, not plastic, as described in another review. The diagram was self explanetary and I managed to put it together within 20 minutes. It is robust and looks very expensive and beautiful and is a perfect compliment to my new 42" Samsung Plasma Television. I AM DELIGHTED!

I stongly advise you to ignore the last review. The fact that this cable won a What Hi-Fi award in 2006 tells you all you need to know. I use the 1m version to connect a Denon DVD-1940 to a Panasonic 37" plasma and the HD upscaling looks awesome. Beaten by the new Chord HDMI Silver Plus 1 over long lengths, this is still the best value HDMI lead on the market up to 1m.
