The LD ZM-6 is designed for applications requiring an easy-to-use, space-saving mixer for permanent installations. Six stereo channels are distributed to 2 broadcasting zones, The LD ZM-6, a so called zone mixer, is particularly suitable for hotels, restaurants, theatres, fitness centres, shopping centres, etc., and it perfectly rounds out the LD Systems mixer segment. Five different stereo signals, an announcement microphone and an emergency input can be routed to 2 stereo zones. The microphone channel, with its own 3-band equalizer, has an auto-talkover function with an adjustable ducker. The ducker reduces the level of the other signals as soon as there is a signal present on the announcement microphone, the ducker is adjustable in it's sensitivity and delay time. A special, important feature is the emergency input for alarm and fire alarm systems. Should the alarms go off in case of an emergency, this input will override all the other Functions and the Alarm will sound in all zones. All microphone inputs and main outputs are balanced. The mixer has a ground lift function for suppressing hum caused by ground loops. Also a headphone output on the front with volume control is provided for monitoring purposes.
