Home-tek steam mop
This mop is brilliant on hard floors - I have used it on laminate and vinyl flooring and it cleans really easily - especially after a very muddy dog has left his mark. I was very impressed with it and have used it for the last year with no need to use any chemical cleaners at all. However, it gradually started to take longer and longer to heat up and finally stopped working - just two weeks after the 12 month guarantee expired. I think for around £30 it is good value, especially as you save money on liquid floor cleaners, but would not pay more as I think it has a limited lifespan. I only used it about twice a week so it wasn't over-used. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I think I might go for something a bit more"heavy duty" next time.47

Compared to those, this torch is a work of art. It's heavy but compact - not pocket size but puts out enough light for its size. The durable low-energy LEDs put out a cold white light. It's rechargeable, but if you get caught without a power point, just crank it! What more could you want? This and a tiny pocket-size maglite are the last torches I want to ever own.

my favourite torch
My wife says I have an unhealthy attachment to this torch. I think of the torches of my childhood - big, cheap, fragile, always breaking a bulb, running out of batteries, rusting or just falling apart like the cheap tin cylinders they were.Compared to those, this torch is a work of art. Excellent Camping Aid
Really useful in and on the way to and from the tent. Compact, so can easily be taken in a hand bag. Easy to recharge and bright enough to illuminate for reading, changing etc.51

It has a good weight without being heavy and you can tell straight away it is quality product. It allows you too focus from a wide beam of light to a more concentrated spot in a quarter turn. I have had the cheaper copies of this torch but now I see why they are cheaper.
If you decide to buy a Maglite don't cheapen it with low quality batteries and buy the best you can.

The Definitive Flashlight
I would recommend this torch to everyone. It is brighter than any other torch I own. I've heard stories that these last forever, are waterproof, fireproof etc. Looking at my Maglite I would well believe it but don't fancy testing it!!It has a good weight without being heavy and you can tell straight away it is quality product. Absolutely Hopeless
I purchased a pack of these blue solar deck lights to use on my new decking. I was planning to place one in each corner and I thought they would look quite nice. Sadly these lights really are just hopeless. Out of the four lights, one didn't work at all, one flickered on and off every few seconds, one was rather dull and only one worked fine (and by fine I mean it was alright for a short time). This brings me to my next point, my garden get full sunlight for most of the day, so there is no excuse for the rechargeable batteries in these lights to last for such a short time. The one light that worked for me, would last for a half hour at best after sunset. Which is just rather pointless. These lights were not that cheap to buy (£12.95 + £5.12 shipping) seems extreme considering they are such poor quality. These really are a complete waste of money. I've decided to save up for a set of electric lights instead.
