The perfect accompliment

I received the palm z22 as a xmas present and this leather case is the icing on the cake. it is a perfect fit and is small and compact. it also came with a belt clip which is an added bonus.

Excellent for its price. Only one draw-back...

The Jaytech JT-32 Databank Personal Organiser is an excellent basic personal organiser, with schedule, memo, telephone numbers etc. It is easy to use, very compact; also easier to edit and cheaper than a filofax. It is even cheaper than a simple pill alarm (so it is useful as a reminder for medication a well as for appointments). It's case is metal and stronger than the only other alternative.

However, there is no back-up facility, so if it breaks or goes AWOL then all is lost...

Garmin Foretrex 201

Hi there!

Just got the Foretrex 201 yesterday, nice piece of kit, and easier to use than the ETrex and other units that Garmin make. Seems to work ok, smaller than i'd expected, but easy to see the display, navigate around and use.

Backlight is very good, even in total darkness, and enables the user to read the screen at arm's length. The strap is good and easy to adjust and should fit most people quite well.

No built in base map, but then you knew that before you looked here, didn't you...

I'm going to be using the device for giving quick locations and navigation in areas where I know roughly where I am, but would like to be able to get straight to a place quickly.

I bought this unit rather than the 101, because it is rechargeable. The charger is massive though, so don't think you'll be able to just stash it in your rucksack.

A good buy for beginners!

This little gadget, small enough to put in your pocket, is a MUST for any travelrs to Spanish speaking destinations who have any hesitancy!

Great for giving you the missing word in the sentence that just slips ouit of your mind, or alternatively, giving you enough words to make a understandable request!

Easy to use (My 10 year old brother thinks so too)

VERY short battery life; the ones that came with it did not give 20hrs and when they go all your stored information is wiped off! Second lot of batteries have not lasted 10 hrs, @ least I think it is the batteries as it has just"packed up" and I can get nowhere with it and I do not feel inclined to buy any more [@ £6 for two !] so I think I will throw it and buy a cheaper one which will be better value for money!

Simply awful, worst Sat Nav I have ever used

I have the garmin satnav but i recently left it to my brother who was holidaying in Spain. My garmin has European maps.

In return he lent me his sony device.

I can not stress how awful this device is:
-The interface is complex and unusable, I am a geek who creates websites for a living and I found it next to impossible to use.
-The device is very slow
-The maps are not very detailed, many addresses we entered it could not find.

This sony is over engineered and utterly frustrating to use, I felt like taking a hammer to it.

In contrast my garmin is very fast, easy to use and great maps. Please click over to the garmins or tom toms you will thank me. If you do not believe it could be that bad take a trip to Halfords or somewhere to try it out so you can see for yourself.

Bottom line is avoid all sony sat nav.

Its only a cable, but...

...it does turn the already excellent video ipod into much more of a home entertainment device. I have it wired into my Hi-Fi amplifier most of the time, but is also great when hooked up to the TV to show slideshows or videos.

Excellent high qualtiy items worked great with my tomtom

This item was posted to me same day and works great with my tomtom on my nokia n73, I have a Ipaq 2190 and it also works very well with that.

One of my Favourite Things

A great product. I used it for a whole year in France and always kept it on me. If you're learning French then I think an electronic dictionary is essential, and out of the few I've seen this is by far the best. Good full definitions of words with helpful IPA pronunciation, easy to use. So much quicker than a paper dictionary, it turns reading in French from a trial into a pleasure.

must have if going to the states

I bought this hoping it would help find where I wanted to go to in the U.S.A. and it did that and more,you really must have one of these if you plan to drive over there, it saved me time,gave me the choice of using toll roads, helped find nearest restaurants and much more. It really is a must have item.

Excellent phones

Had this triple set for just over a year now and can't fault it. The handsets have a solid weighty feel and the interface is very straightforward. Phonebooks can be transferred easily between handsets so we use one as the master for all updates then replicate it with the other two.
Sound quality is very good even at low volume and the speakerphone is crystal clear. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Great for use in the city!

Purchased in December ( - for twice as much!).

It's fast and quick to connect, and topping up is easy by buying your top up voucher as you would for your phone. Bonus that the '3' network is pre-pay, no contract!! Just £10 for a months use when you want is pretty cheap!

It's perfect for in the CITIES. Though, it consistently failed to connect in MANY small towns in Cornwall and Scotland, which made buying it for travelling about the UK a bit pointless (- as in the big cities there were cheap wifi cafes anyway!) Make sure you thoroughly check the coverage in the area you are going to use it to get good value!

Good unit let down by a very bad screen!!!

Bought this unit (with UK Maps) a couple of weeks ago - it worked straight out of the box and communicated with my phone and the headset with no problems. Linking it to the PC updated the firmware - the Tom Tom Home software is quite good.

Menu's are quite good and intuitive with a useful range of features.

Anyway, spent a couple of days blissfully travelling back and forward to and from work - into the sun both ways so the screen display seemed fine. Come the weekend and my chance to take the unit for a run..... I was woefully disappointed by the screen.

What had been a good screen in low light became an absolute nightmare with the sun in any position behind the rider.

Even with the brightness set at 100%, the screen became unreadable and the only way to see the display was to shade it with my hand - not ideal on a motorbike!!!

Why has no one else mentioned this in reviews?!!! Am I the only person who thinks that this is a fundamental flaw in what is, in all other respects, a good piece of kit?

Did Tom Tom actually let real bikers test this unit? - not if my experiences are anything to go by.

Come on Tom Tom, you can do better than this - sort the screen out and you'll get a deserving 5 stars!!
