Review for Kyocera White Zircona Ceramic Peeler with Rotating Head and Ergonomic Black and Red Handle:
A good idea, but . . .
I am a fan of ceramic blades, but my experience with this item was not very happy. The blade worked well, cutting cleanly and with little effort. However, I found the rotating head could not be tightened enough to stop it rotating in use. When it hit an eye the frame snapped and the blade fell out, ending an less than perfect relationship. NOT recommended.8

PJ
I bought this product for my mum and she's already asked me to order several more for her friends! Apparently it's fantastic. I didn't know such a thing exisited - and it is very different from a normal peeler - much sharper and more precise. A good investment for anyone who likes to cook with fresh tomato's.15

Good while it lasted
Very sharp blades, a comfortable handle and a stylish brushed stainless steel finish should make this a perfect veg peeler. However it only lasted twelve months of light amateur use before the blade bent and snapped close to the handle. Not good enough for a Henckels item.17

This really IS a peeler to get excited about!
I am simply overjoyed with this excellent utensil and it has made peeling anything, never mind potatoes, a breeze! I know it's pretty sad to get all worked up over a peeler (!) but Oxo really have done the business here and even awkward roots like ginger become much easier to deal with.A great tool for anyone who enjoys cooking and I guarantee you will actually try and find things to peel, when you've run out of spuds :D
