not quite perfect
If you purchase one of these shavers dont bother reading the instructions as they are not correct, I found this out by phoning the support number and was told that the instructions regarding initial charge were in fact in error, the charge light FLASHES when charging is complete, and does not glow steadily as stated in the booklet. The headguard is a bit rubbishy and the head release buttons are not too easy to operate as is the on off switch. Apart from that the shaver works very well when it comes to removing whiskers and that's what I bought if for. I would buy another in the future43

Does everything they said and is so light and handy to take up our winding stone staircase, which is what I needed it for, but I find I use it for a quick whip round the rest of the house too. I've had several of the rechargeable ones in the past, but I've found the battery life soon wears down so you don't get much time in-between charges, and I end up having to bin it.
With this one, I just use some high powered rechargeable batteries (Uniross 2500Mah ones from Argos), which give me 2-3 weeks use. I know that once these batteries no longer hold their charge, I can just buy new batteries and not a whole new toothbrush. Much more environmentally friendly!

Best electric toothbrush I've had!
I've had one of these for about 2 years and it too is still going strong.I've had several of the rechargeable ones in the past, but I've found the battery life soon wears down so you don't get much time in-between charges, and I end up having to bin it.

i have had 2 attempts at using this and both times after 20mins the massage head fell off. i was using it from the power cord and i think the unit just heats up and it works itself loose as once the unit has cooled down its fine again. i've never used an epilator before so can't compare on pain level but it did hurt round the bone and it also took ages to shave a small area.49

What a great shaver. I used to have a Philips shaver and gave up because it wasn't close enough. Went back to wet shaving which was just a pain! I've had one of these for over 2 years, it's well worth the money. Teeth are much cleaner and my dentist commented on the high standard of cleanliness, so much so I've not needed to see the hygienist since I started using it. Only down side is the difficulty in finding local shops that have the heads, have to order on line, but they do last really well and the quality of the product far outways this minor problem. Would only change it if I was guaranteed a product that could perform as well or better!!.55

I bought this shaver because I wanted to try something different from my Philishave hq671 coolskin after 3 years of use. By comparison, the Philishave gave a much smoother shave (without any rashes) but took longer to shave because it wasn't as powerful.
The braun has some advantages over my Philishave;
-it's more powerful, it cuts stubble quicker and sounds louder
-it charges very quickly (a lot quicker than the Philishave)
-the battery lasts longer
If you want a quick rough shave, the Braun is good. However, I prefer spending an extra five minutes using the Philishave to avoid the shaving rash.

Rough shave!
Every time I use this shaver, it leaves me with shaving rashes on my neck and cheek bones. Apply even the absolute slightest bit of pressure on your teeth and the brush slows down to a crawl and after a couple of minutes your teeth are left feeling distinctly unbrushed.
So do yourself a favour and don't buy this product, its a complete waste of time. By all means go for a pricier model ... from experience they're excellent.
What beats me though, is what planet the other positive reviewers were on when they used theirs !

Cheap and I now know why !

The worst discomfort for me is afterwards, my skin does itch and burn for a while, but I think if I can find a decent cooling moisturiser this won't be a problem.
I am so pleased to have found an alternative to the short-lasting results and bad skin you get with shaving, the mess you get with cream and home waxing, and the time consuming cost of having a professional wax. If you are in doubt, I would say go for it!

What a product!
I tried this as it was cheap and the only person I knew that had tried epilation had told me how painful it was. Not true!! It isn't pain-free, but if you can handle waxing, you can handle this. I actually find it less painful without the attachment that is meant to make it easier (the massaging rollers clip) - go straight in with the Effieciency-Pro clip on top speed.The worst discomfort for me is afterwards, my skin does itch and burn for a while, but I think if I can find a decent cooling moisturiser this won't be a problem.

i grudge paying 100 pounds to get apparently brilliant straighteners!! whats the difference between these and the other types.. they both straighten ur hair! but when i saw the price of these ones i was truly amazed!
i did just get some straighteners at xmas but now they r starting to mess up!! they spit hot boiling water out which burns me which is really annoying so i decided that i would buy myself some new ones!!
as soon as these arrived i ripped them out of the box and straightened my sisters hair, which is usually quite fizzy, wavey and strawy, but after i had straightened her hair it looked amazing!! it was shinny and dead straight! it only took me about 20 mins to straighten her hair and that was me going quite slow i thought!!
i would deffinatly recomend these for ppl who r in a rush in the morning and want lovely straight shinny hair!! and also grude paying a high price for the other straighteners out there!!
i love them already and ive only used them a few times!!!

Perfect for stubble
I got this trimmer for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it!He looks so much better with a little bit of stubble, and until I got this for him, he was having to shave every few days then wait for the stubble to grow back.
Now he just has a quick trim with this every couple of days to keep his stubble at the same length.
