Sickeningly Good

We bought our first tub of the Hardcore in New York a little while back and the one thing I remember was how sick we were after the first couple of doses. Stomach Cramps, Nausea, the lot...

After a few days of being afraid to try them again, we did but at a lower dose. After building it up after a few days we really started to feel the thermogenic effect and the nausea was gone.

All in all, it seems to be a great product. Definately give it a try, but dont start off with the 6 caps a day as recommended!

A revelation

I have shaved with Braun shavers for many years, the most recent a 5775 Flex XP. It's always taken many passes over the same area to get a reasonable shave and even then it's never been really close. Having now had the Pulsonic for a week I find it a revelation - shaving is now much faster and the result is a really close shave, so I no longer look like I need another one within a few hours! It even handles the small hairs under the chin, which previous models struggled to deal with.

Beware of the hype!!

I bought this at Christmas having read all the previous reviews.The first time I used it I thought surely, I'm not doing this right as it was absolutely useless, but having persevered now for nearly two months it really is clearly the product.I could do a more accurate and neater job with a pair of blunt scissors.It doesnt even remove my very fine leg hairs neatly never mind"other" areas.It states on the instructions that it can't be used in the shower which the reviews and the manufcturers blurb led me to believe it could.All in all,don't bother.

tripe

we never really managed to work out the different functions as these are not the most intuitive scales to use. Then they stopped working. we thought it was the batteries so spent £6 on new ones. Having replaced them the scales still do not work.
They are supposed to have a ten year guarantee but we can't find our receipt.

Perfect Price, Near Perfect Shave

You spend £9.99 and you'd think you'd get a shaver that would leave you with more stubble than Fatima Whitbread but no, this shaver works almost as well as the Philips top of the range shaver that I've managed to break after 2 months of use. I've done the wife test and the shave passed in style so what are you waiting for? I, like other reviewers bought this as a temporary solution but on intial results this could look set to replace it's very big and very expensive brother!

An utter waste of money

Hahaha. I can't believe this actually exists. What a complete waste of money! This item should be sold at a Pound shop not at Gadget shop. I have scarcely seen a tackier, more cheaply made bit of tat in my life. You need 3 batteries to power this little beaut and guess what they are not included. The lights are so feeble that you would need blackout curtains in your bathroom to see any effect, the balance weight is not heavy enough to keep the blessed thing floating upright and the coup de grace is that it flippin' well leaks. After fitting the battery compartment on the first time, we plopped it in the bath (yes, I did put it on properly!) and after 30 seconds it was half-full of water. How excellent... a watertight electrical toy for the bath that lets in water. I am flabbergasted that this piece of ordure ever made it to the marketplace, never mind to be sold at a whopping £8. Made in China stamped clearly on the tacky looking box, probably a clue to the tremendous profits being screwed out of the poor consumer by a fifth-rate and greedy manufacturer. Gadget Shop sort yourselves out... it's not good enough. Stay away.

impressed

excellent cleaning power. took a few days to get used to the vibration on my teeth as they are sensitive. teeth look and feel really clean. very impressed with battery charge.. lasts ages. tescos sell the 2 pin plug adaptor for under 3 pounds that you need to charge this toothbrush.

a defo diet pill

Made from natural ingredients, i felt safe taking these pills but wasnt convinced if they were actually going to work. i took the suggested dose, one tablet 30 minutes before eating every meal, and if you eat slowly, you can feel yourself getting full. i found i couldnt finish some large meals, and felt less like snacking. i used to eat so much and not really think about it, these pills have definatly stopped me from eating more than i need to. They take a while to start working, but i have lost a little bit of weight.

Wrong description

The description clearly states"fits all regular rechargeable toothbrushes" er... no it doesn't!!
Well, not my"Regular Vitality Sonic" rechargeable toothbrush!
Not happy, having to go through the inconvenience of returning.
Please double-check the fine print, if it exists!

Wow what a product. i brought this product on friday 14 and it arived 21 saturday march 2008, i love this product its day 2 i love it you can feel your muiscles contracting and relaxing.

Pretty weak

The scissors that came with this item would not, as my Dad would say, cut butter. The motor on the clipper is very weak.

The best made grooming product I've ever bought

What a great little gadget. I already have a battery operated trimmer but it always feels like it's going to slice up my nostrils, and it's always with great trepidation that I stick it up my nose. No such worries with the Groom Mate as you're in complete control.

At first I found that it plucked some hairs rather than cut them but that was because I stopped rotating it when withdrawing. Once I learned that lesson I didn't have a problem again and my eye's haven't watered since.

As far as longevity is concerned it's beautifully machine turned from solid steel, and to very high tolerances too and I can see this lasting a life time. Just as well as the makers give a lifetime guarantee so they are certainly putting their money where their mouth is. I don't think they have anything to worry about however as you could run over it in a 38 tonne truck and I'm sure that apart from a few scratches it would still work perfectly.

All in all a great little tool and a purchase you won't regret.

THE HARVEST...

I bought this item on the strength of the reviews already posted, being at my wits' end with shaving constantly and my protesting boyfriend who definitely prefers me smooth!

Overall very pleased with the gadget so far, it's simple to use and effectively rid me of my fetching yeti look. Painful - yes, but I hardly expected otherwise, and I know from previous waxing experience that the first time is as bad as it gets.

The only reason I didn't give this the full 5 stars was the length of time it took to get me completely smooth. I epilated both full legs and my bikini line over the course of 3 days - I gave myself a couple of overnight breaks, as otherwise I would have been at it for hours - and being a bit of a wuss, I can't really face a full on 3.5 hours of tooth-gritting pain...

Definitely worth the price, given what you'll pay for a wax at a salon. Set aside plenty of time (and maybe an aspirin half an hour beforehand) for your first epilation. Future use is easier, less painful and much quicker. Highly recommended.

Oh - lastly, don't bother with the starter head - you'll be there for ever!!

it's great!

I am really pleased with this hairdryer.
The hairdryer is lightweight which is important when you are using the curly hair diffuser.The attachment for normal blowdrying is funnelled through quite a wide narrow nozzle which with the power that this little dryer produces, dries your hair in no time. With the constant ions, it dried my thick hair quickly and it was definately less frizzy.
The cord is a good length too.
Because it is quite small and the attachments are not big either, its great for putting in your suitcase for holidays!
