Fab Abs

I got this belt about a week ago and I've been using it as instructed and I have to say I LOVE IT.

It has 6 different settings that all feel very different, ranging between having an uber workout (it actually aches and feels like your doing mega sit-ups) or a soothing massage that relaxes you and tones you at the same time.

As it's only been a week I can't say there has been an incredible inch loss, but my tummy is definitely looking more toned and shapely, the skin is tauter and overall looks a lot more flat. I personally have a lot of work to do in that area so it'll take a while, but if this first week is anything to go by then I should have a relatively toned tum in no time.

There's only one thing I would complain about and that's that they could have supplied the belt with a larger tube of conductive gel. It's a fair size, but if you are to use it every day as instructed and want to get the most effective results (without possible burns) then the amount supplied probably wont last very long.

However, this belt is a BARGAIN for the price, considering there are similar things on the market for triple the price, AND it works. A great buy in my opinion.

NOTE: I've been using the belt in conjunction with regular cardio workouts, so don't expect amazing results if you're just using the belt alone.

The HQ8170 could do much better!

I have bought an earlier model 6 years ago and was delighted with it. However, when I saw the HQ8170 advertised on Amazon, I decided to take the plunge and buy it, thinking that technology had moved on and it would give me an even better shave.

I was quite attracted by the new 3 rotary blades system, since mine only had one and the manufacturer's claims that it gave a closer shave, 50% more etc... When I tried it on, I was ever so disappointed. The shaving experience isn't any better! In fact, it takes just as long as my old one for exactly the same result.

In view of this, I have doubts about the 3 blades system and tempted to say that is a gimmick. I still recommend Philishave as it is still a very good make nonetheless but you are well advised to buy a cheaper model that will do just the same job! I praise Amazon for the 5 Star service and for giving me a full refund on this purchase, it was much appreciated!.

Nice and easy does it!

I bought this as a replacement for the Salter 1600 which uses the same accurate strain-gauge measuring engine.
The Salter 3003 wins hands down over the 1600, because it uses proper push buttons, and weighs ingredients up to 5kg not a mere 3kg.
While not quite instant, the 3003 has a good and well-damped response, you don't have to hang about waiting for the reading to stabilise while adding ingredients.
It is not cluttered up with silly menu systems or redundant features found on some others we looked at.
It is simple and intuitive to use, quick and accurate. What more do you need from a kitchen scale?

i have allways used a mixture of wet and dry shaving until my old dry shaver packed in. after a lot of searching i purchased this shaver from amazon and found it to be a very close shave it looks great and feels even better .i would recomend this shaver to any one

Excellent product - after prompt delivery I was delighted with the birth ball which came with instructions for use, including some example exercises during pregnancy. Inflated quickly and easily. Have only been using it today but so far so good! Many thanks

Well worth the money

I was never taking care of my skin in my 20's,there wasn't any real 'need' to in those years!Now I'm in my 30's I take care of my skin religiously-cleansing,staying out of sun etc...I've gone from moisturiser to moisturiser, never being totally satisfied with any of them and if I'm honest, I always associated Olay to be for older ladies and never tried it.I'm sure it used to be called Oil of Ulay many moons ago!!

Well, I put my hands up and say I was wrong.

My lovely elderly neighbour, who has now sadly passed away, used this all her life and she had the most beautiful skin.So, I bought some.

It is truly gorgeous, is non-greasy and has a lovely fresh scent to it.It goes a long way so a bottle is really going to last a while.I can honestly say that my skin is as soft as a baby's bottom after applying it....and no I'm not a rep!I'm a very busy mum of 3 with very little time for myself, so this is a Godsend.

I also have very sensitive skin and expected to break out....but I didn't.Can't recommend it highly enough.

WARNING--THIS HAIRDRYER IS DANGEROUS!

I don't usually write reviews about the electrical items that I purchase on Amazon, but felt duty bound to report on this one. I purchased this hairdryer on Feb. 1st. It worked fine for a few weeks--one day, I went to use it, and it sounded different than the previous times I had used it. My husband listened to it, and told me that I was being neurotic, so that was that for a while. A few weeks passed--it's now April 13th--I plugged the hairdryer in, and to my terror, it literally exploded in my hand. There was an enormous bang, and I could hear shattering inside the dryer--small particles of what looked like glass fell out of the rear of the dryer which had literally blown off. My husband was sitting at the kitchen table when this happened and we were both absolutely terrified--I can't describe how really loud the bang was--incredible. So, as you will have figured out, I am NOT recommending that you purchase this hairdyer!

Very Pleased

Because I have very straight and fine hair I was somewhat weary before buying this item. However, the curls came out really nice even though I was just learning to put the rollers in properly. Just hairsprayed over with Elnett and got a good hold all day. Would definitely recommened to others!!!

Philips ***icare

Global Marketing uk identifies correct replacement and gets it to you in a couple of days, Philips and its linked third party supplier could not,after I waited 4 days for an email reply.
The Sonicare HX5500 was bought from a dentist less than a year ago.

Hairy days!

I recently purchased this ladyshave, and I can honestly say, it is really good! The trimmer can be used when you have a couple of days hair growth to remove, or left down if you use it daily. I do tend to use it more for my underarms than legs, and it doesn't leave my skin itchy as other ladyshaves have in the past. The charger is stable and compact. The shaver seems to hold its charge ok, but I like to keep it topped up every 2-3 days. Hope this review helps with your ladyshave purchase!

The results speak for themselves - great!

I bought this for my partner last week and I was a little nervous! It plugs into the mains and makes a little bit of noise, but don't be put off by how difficult it looks to work. The actuall process is really easy and she had done the job within an hour. The end results are so so good, the colour looks natural and hasn't streaked at all. She was amazed with how natural it looks and has promised to buy as many refills as possible!!! Great price too! I would recommend this product over the cheaper home tanning solutions - the results are more reliable and it's a very proffessional system. Five stars!

Nice little gizmo!

The previous reviewer says it all...this is a nice little piece of kit that washes under the tap and doesn't irritate the nasal passages when trimming.Not many products in this bracket come with recommendations but this deserves to be given some.

not worth your money

i was realy dissapointed, not worth your money. they take ages to heat up and simply don't work. Once i accidently left it on overnight and even then it didnt straighten my hair!! not worth your money at all
