Excellent!
I'm very impressed with these scales. The first pair of digital scales that I have bought and the LCD display is top notch - really big dark digits (handy for me especially as I'm short-sighted!). The screen displays quarter-pounds, too. And I know they are accurate as I recently got myself weighed at the doc's and the reading was the same. Easy to wipe clean as well. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend these.3

we never really managed to work out the different functions as these are not the most intuitive scales to use. Then they stopped working. we thought it was the batteries so spent £6 on new ones. Having replaced them the scales still do not work.They are supposed to have a ten year guarantee but we can't find our receipt.

These are great scales comfortable to use and the weight is clearly visible. I'm still fat and not very popular but at least I know how much I weigh. I dont think amazon sells personality scales but when they do I'll be in there like shot.11

No intermittent transmissions, no reading long manuals, no over complication! Its good that it has those extra functions but I was worried it might be too much for my simple need, but it was fantastic! I am very happy :)

Think of the future....
Polar heart rate monitors work by recording the tiny radio signal emitted from a belt that attaches around your chest, a bit like a cupless bra in effect. I bought a Polar device last year; it is excellent but the transmitter battery died and, since the battery is sealed in and irreplaceable, I was left with little choice but to buy a new transmiter strap for £30. Polar, when contacted, were exceptionally rude and arrogant in their reply to my suggestion that the battery should be a £5 stand-alone replacement item.Don't buy you'll get stung when the batteries need replacing.

Essential item for every first aid box especially for parents
When I asked my hubby what to put in this review he said"What is there to say about it but its simple and it works, buy it"Essentially he is right. With a reading in just a couple of seconds it is perfect for looking after the kids and after buying ours, instead of the usual babygrow etc its the gift I've bought for everyone who's just had a baby. Its refreshing also to see its the same unit that my doc has in the surgery, similar to the one in casualty and same as the one our HV has. With those sort of recommendations and Amazons great price. Why buy anything else?
