Review for HP Deskjet 6940 Color Inkjet Printer:
The main reason I bought this specific printer was because it had good reviews as a general purpose printer, but it also seems to do a pretty good job with photos. I also didn't realise until I bought it that it had a built in Ethernet port (plug it into your router and you've got wireless printing!), Picture Bridge (I can plug my Canon Ixus into the USB port on the front and print directly from my camera). It has a separate feed slot for envelopes and photo paper, as well as a fixed paper tray. You can also plug in a Bluetooth adapter, to print from your camera phone (if you want to go in for all that nonsense - why bother : ))But the thing that has really impressed me is how quiet it is, relative to both my old Epson printers, and how quick. It's not far off Laser Printer speeds when printing emails, etc.
And what's more, this is the first time I've ever bought a printer for under £100. I've yet to see how it will fare after 2-3 years, but I'm pretty impressed so far. Bargain!

A lot of printer for the money
I've been buying Epson Stylus printers for the past 6-7 years, and both my previous purchases started to pack up once they reached the 3 year mark, generally becoming more and more quirky (refusing to feed paper, funny splodges on the page, etc), so this time I thought I would try an HP.The main reason I bought this specific printer was because it had good reviews as a general purpose printer, but it also seems to do a pretty good job with photos. Review for Canon SELPHY CP740 Portable Photo Printer:
nice little unit
I ordered this printer together with a pack of KP-108P (which arrived a day before the printer). Although I have only just received the printer, I am very pleased with it in general. I found things very easy to follow using the handbook supplied and have printed the full version handbook from the supplied disc. Paper loading is straightforward and easy, not at all 'clunky' as others have found. I used the paper and cartridge supplied to print from my SD card which was too easy for words. I needed to buy an extra USB cable in order to print directly from my PC, again, this operation was simple and easy, athough I was thrown off course until I realised that the inbuilt visual display will only show a diagram depicting the connected printer and PC. Overall a very nice compact unit that produced truly great prints.I would thoroughly recommend anyone looking for a photo printer to buy this one.5
Review for Lexmark Wireless 3 In 1 Inkjet Printer,26PPM Mono,18PPM Colour,Pictbridge,Card Slots,LCD Screen,Duplex As Standard:
Delivery from Quigleys Ltd, the supplier, was fast (4 days) and the wireless set-up was a piece of cake. I have a new HP Laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium, using a BT Home Hub wireless router. The Set-Up CD takes you right through the entire process in simple easy steps - from opening the box and removing all packaging, to completing the wireless network connection and installing the software. Just remember, don't plug the printer in and do not connect the USB installation cable prior to running the Set-Up CD. You will be told when to do these two things at the relative stages of the set-up.
I have thoroughly tested all three functions - printing (including photos), copying and scanning - without meeting any real problems. Normal document printing quality is slightly below that of a comparable printer (in this case, I am comparing quality against my old HP DeskJet printer). This is passable for everyday documents and letters, and is perhaps unnoticeable if this is your first printer.
In conclusion, I am happy with the printer's ease of use and quality of printing, the user friendly Set-Up CD that posed no problem whatsoever. This really is value for money and I'm pleased that I decided to order it.

Value For Money and Problem-Free User Friendly Set-Up
After reading the reviews so far for this printer, I was in two minds whether to order it or not. It seems that some purchasers experienced various problems in setting the printer up and also in its initial use. However, there are a number who praise the product highly. My decision in the end to purchase was swayed by the Lexmark quality brand name and the excellent value for money specifications. A wireless 3 in 1 printer at under £66 cannot be sniffed at!Delivery from Quigleys Ltd, the supplier, was fast (4 days) and the wireless set-up was a piece of cake. Review for HP DESKJET D1460 colour ink jet printer, 16PPM A4 1200DPI:
What you get is a simple printer that installs easily and performs exactly as you would want. OK, the speed may be a bit slower than more expensive devices and the casing may feel a bit lightweight, but it costs less than a couple of replacement cartridges!
As with any printer, there is no printer lead in the box. However, this has been the case for years now and most of us already have the necessary leads lying around the house and, if not, they're not too expensive to buy. If a lead had been in the box, then I expect it would have cost more...
All in all, at this price you cannot lose.

Review for Canon IX 4000:
A3 epson had some poor reveiws so I looked at the Canon printers. I was stunned by the possible saving, so checked the replacement ink prices. These too seemed very reasonable. So I took the plunge, I have many other Canon products that all have proved to be top quality.
I have been amazed by this machines speed and exceptional quality printing on all types of media. The A3+ size glossy prints are superb, and mono photo prints are rich in tonality and depth.
I agree with one or two others it is a bit clunky taking the paper in, and spits it out with venom, a minor issue. The results make this an outstanding product I would recommend to anyone requiring upto A3+ printing with results far above the budget A3 printer price.

Review for Epson Stylus R2400 A3+ Colour Inkjet Photo Printer:
Typical Epson
The printer performed well initially but like most Epson printers has a very short lifespan and consumes the ink at an incredible rate. After a month or so of use it failed to re-produce colours, especially skin tones, with any accuracy and no amount of calibration and head cleaning seems to be able to remedy it. Ok if you want larger prints on a budget and can sacrifice quality.12

Oh dear!
How I wish I'd read these reviews first! I've been lucky in the past - I've not spent too much money on electronic stuff yet have not suffered from bad quality products. However I think my luck's run out with the Epson Stylus D92. Having only bought this printer a couple of months ago and having had very little use out of it, it's already telling me I'm out of black ink! I've hardly used it! I'm now looking at having to fork out £6 for a new black cartridge alone. Having now read the reviews I'm wondering if I should just cut my losses. Very frustrating, and would go with the majority of others in saying"don't buy the Epson D92"!14

Don't waste your time and money on this one
Avoid this printer like the plague. It gobbles ink like the worst kind of binge drinker and is no better quality than my daughters £30.00 HP 3 in 1 printer/scanner/photocopier. By far the worst investment I've made to date where printers are concerned. I am constantly replacing inks as it appears to dry up and simply vanishes after a few weeks of it not being used. I had an Epson Color Photo 600 for 10 years and loved it, this isn't a patch on it and I wished I hadn't given it away now. Don't buy this printer unless you have a lot of money and time to waste in buying and changing inks and for no good reason. I had to give it one star because it wouldn't let me give it a zero rating. I've had it from new for 2 years now and it's been like it since I bought it.15

High Quality photo Printer
I bought this printer for my sister in law's 80th birthday . She does not like using her computer software for printing her digital photos . It is also not very convenient to take the card to the shops for printing . She is absolutely delighted with this printer . It was very easy to set up , works perfectly and produces very high quality prints in about 90 seconds . If you have a digital camera, this is all you will ever need to produce excellent prints of your favorite shots . I would highly recommend this printer which is well worth the money ! .16

DCP-150C
I bought the brother DCP-150C, after reading lots of reviews, it is a great all rounder for the small home office. I wanted a printer that was cheap on ink & had a fair picture quality, & boy did I get it & more, the scanner & stand alone copier are both really easy to use, but the main thing for me was the quality of photo printing it really is fantastic & to top it cheap, the cartridges are individual coulours, so you only replace the empty colours & are very cheap to replace.17

A little beauty!
This machine replaced an ageing HP Photosmart 1215 and what a difference! The setup was very easy. I had a Vista disk in with the machine but I still had to go online to download the Vista update. However, no problems here and machine was soon up and running. The only glitch I have is at start up when a dialog box informs me that the HP CUE Status isn't running and is unable to load. Whatever it is, this doesn't seem to affect the overall running of the printer. I like the fact that HP printers store the paper horizontally so you don't get that annoying curling of the paper as you do with certain other makes! No problems using touch screen for controlling the machine. Printer is highly recommended for the price.20
