New Price: £59.99

Review for Kodak ESP 3250 All-in-One Printer (Print, Copy, Scan):
Cheaper cartridges ... less ink.
Yes, it's an all-in-one printer at a good price but on the whole print quality is not badly effected by this. Text print is only average but the photo printing, on good quality photo paper, is as good as my previous printer (Canon Pixma).
Just two gripes,
1) Take Kodaks claims of cheaper printing with a pinch of salt. I used to change cartridges every 2 - 3 months (5 times a year) with my canon but now need to change them every 3 - 4 weeks (15 times a year). Still a saving but about 22%, going by my experiences, not anywhere near Kodaks claims of about 60%.
2) Having used my printer for a good 10 months I have recently noticed some items printed in colour have faded already - something that didn't happen in such a short space of time with my Canon printer.
In summary, you need to weigh up ink cost savings against extra trips to buy cartridges and how long you want your printed material to last.

Canon PIXMA iP4700 Colour Printer

New Price: £76.50

Review for Canon PIXMA iP4700 Colour Printer:
OK so far
The IP4700 replaced a Canon i550 where the print head had gone kaput after 8 years' good service, and a new print head would have been £60-70 compared with £78 for this new printer. I hope that the IP4700 is as good. So far ( a month) it has worked fine, the printer software is fairly similar to the old i550, so it's easy to use. It can take a while start printing while it sets itself up, but it's probably about the same as the i550 when set to"Fast", when the quality is quite good enough, and better than the i550. The set-up instructions were obviously not checked properly, because the Windows set-up version fails to mention that the USB cable should be plugged in. I hope that the ink costs will be acceptable. Unfortunately my i550 stock won't fit.

New Price: £39.99

Review for HP Deskjet F2480 Printer (Print, Copy And Scan):
A good, affordable printer and a good buy
The printer arrived on time and as advertised. It was a snap to set it up for printing. The print quality is very good, as is the scanning and copying quality. This is my third HP printer purchase to date, the first time I have purchased a multifunction deskjet, and I am very happy with my decision to purchase this HP printer. It is a good printer, and quite affordable for people on a budget.

Bargin Printer
I needed a smaller printer and after looking at the reviews on Amazon I decided to buy the HP D1660. It took 30 mins to install and I did not have to uninstall my security software (kaspersky), the print out is great. The only downside was having to buy a USB lead separately.

Great budget priced all in one printer
If you want a good all in one printer at a low price, this one ticks all the boxes. It scans, prints good quality documents and photos, and is very easy to set up and operate. It might not be the fastest printer going, and it is maybe a little noisy as it goes about it's business, but that is a small gripe. All in all I have been using it every day since I bought it and am very happy with it's overall performance.Epson Stylus SX215 All-in-One Printer (Individual Inks, 3.8cm LCD Viewer, Memory Card Slot)

Epsom printer. real problems
I installed the printer and on day one it worked perfectly having installed the genuine epsom ink that came with the printer. On day two however with those same genuine cartridges, it stubbornly refused to recognise two of them. It was a relief to send it back and I am now a happy Kodak printer owner.Epson Stylus S21 General Purpose Printer with Individual Inks

Can someone help please - thank you
I am considering purchasing one of these machines but just have two little questions that I need to resolve to help me finalise my decision:

1) Is there an option to turn off the duplex printing if required?

2) Does the automatic document feed on top of the machine have to be purchased separately, if so, where from?

Many thanks

Review for Canon PIXMA iP3600 Printer:
Good all round printer
This is my first canon printer, Im not really sure why its taken me this long to see the light? Previously I have bought Epson printers and you know what I won't be going back!!

In essense the printer looks the part, build quality is good and print quality is also very good.

You have to assemble the print head before you are able to use the printer but it is straight forward if you follow the instructions. Also I must admit its taken me quite a while to get used to the printer interface/software and clibrating it has also taken some time. This may be in part that a/ I am used to Epsom printers and b/ I also bought a new monitor at the same time.

All in all it is a cracking printer for the money!

Epson Stylus Office B1100 A3 Printer With Individual Inks

Review for Epson Stylus Office B1100 A3 Printer With Individual Inks:
Epson B1100 - User Opinion
....First impressions after initial installation - Make sure you've got enough room and desktop space to give this a good home.... I've used two other A3+ printers in the past and they are nothing like as big as the B1100 ! But if you've got the room it looks like a really nice design and you can't help notice its really good looks when you walk in the office.....

Installation - took about 15 minutes - no problems with setting up and installing ink cartridges...
Printing - Initial results - very good - not done any full A3+ photo prints yet but colours seem accurate...
Speed - Not the fastest by any means - especially in the 'quality' print modes when printing photos...
Noise - Better than I thought - Initial paper loading can be a bit 'clunky' but when printing it's very quiet...

The five (B/B/C/M/Y) Ink cartridges for an A3+ printer seem way too small - don't know how long they will last if used for posters or big stuff ect. The cost of replacement original Epson ink cartridges seems absolutely outrageous.....I'm going to look for compatible cartridges right away or perhaps a refill cartridge set-up or continuous ink flow system... I'm pretty sure anyone using this printer for more than the odd photo will be running out of ink pretty fast...If any other owners can point me to compatible ink elsewhere I'd be obliged...

Final comments - You get what you pay for - This printer is just about the lowest priced A3+ model on the market. Look at the Canons / HP's / Brother / Lexmark and even other Epsons and it's way below the price of its rivals... So I suppose it's 'horses for courses' - I will just have to see how this printer keeps operating and working in the long term.....

Overall - So far - very pleased and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to 'Print Big'.....

comment-1 This printer gulps ink like there is no tomorrow... the cartridges don't last long when compared to my previous Epson printer...
I'll be blowed if i'm going to spend between £40 to 50 on original Epson ink... that's really taking it...!
...I have now found a good priced supplier of compatible ink cartridges for this printer. Don't get confused with dealers that tell you that the T7012 / 3 / 4 C,M,Y compatible colour cartriges work with the B1100 - they don't - even when their own website says that they do. It might say they 'fit' - they do - but they won't work. I even phoned Epson UK and they also said it 'should work' but weren't sure....
It must be T7011H (black) compatible and T1002/3/4 C,M,Y compatible....

comment-2 In retrospect _ I was initially going to buy a Canon (iX4000) for A3+ stuff and thought I'd save myself £50-00 by going with the B1100 - The ink/running costs are ridiculous with this Epson - Even the compatible cartridges are pricey..... If your're not into CISS and you print a lot of a3/a3+'s then this is NOT the printer to go for.... About 12 A3 prints and you're empty again.... stupid little cartridges for this type of output.....Believe me - it won't be an Epson next time.....

It is a noisy printer that makes noises before and after printing. It is also the slowest printer that I have owned to date but the print out is one of the best I have seen. If you are not in a great hurry then I would recommend this printer.

New Price: £96.00

Review for HP Officejet Pro 8000 - printer - colour - ink-jet:
Hp officerjet Printer
Found this HP printer to be quieter then the one I had before which was a 5000 model. It front load paper tray, controls and ink in very helpful in the confined space I keep mine in. The set up took sometime but if you followed the instructions to the letter as I did there was no issue and once set up works fine. It's a lot quicker at printing then my last printer which I had for many years. I have had it for a few months now and found no problems with it at all. The only issue I could think you may have its obtaining replacement inks locally as a lot of places I popped into didn't stock this machines ink. However thankfully you can get them from Amazon.

production quality control needed
I had the unfortunate experience of purchasing 2 of these printers in April-May 2010, based on favourable user reviews on the Which? website. Neither functioned from the start - not even test sheets emerged. The first printer had a problem with non-alignment of one of the print heads, the second had a faulty paper feed mechanism. After the second proved faulty, I decided to purchase a printer from a different manufacturer - Canon, which has worked satisfactorily from the start.

Amazon's service as the seller was efficient regarding all aspects of sales and returns.

Review for Kodak ESP7250 Wi-Fi and Network Ready All-In-One Inkjet Printer:
GR8 Product but in my case on Mac
I have had 2 experiences with this device :

In windows vista , easy install , I did atached it on a WiFi router , but scan resolts where not satisfactoy for me , too dark and saturated plus noise even with tiff .

The worst of all , is that I losed all networked printers with All in One Kodak software .

My principal purpose is scan not print , anyway copy documents , its easy and fast , have not tryed photo print , I have a sublimation printer for that , and phot lab .

In Snow Leopard 10.6.4 ; looks like its a diferent machine , I supose that native 64 drivers help for that . Bonjour install , its dificult ( my case ), but if you map 5353 udp to main Mac , everything goes fine .

Sudenly scans are really good , no noise ,good shadows levels , good color , its not fast scanning device over WiFi, I dont care to much for that , and no problem with any other networked devices .

On Mac you can scan to specified folder or asign an aplication for open it , over WiFi , not in Windows Vista .

Really happy now with it .

I expect for windows users that on Win 7 64 should work beter than vista 32 , really I dont know .

Sorry about my poor english :(

Canon PIXMA Pro 9000 Mark II (A3+ Printer, 4800 X 2400 dpi) Printer

New Price: £395.49

Review for Canon PIXMA Pro 9000 Mark II (A3+ Printer, 4800 X 2400 dpi) Printer:
Canon Pixma Pro 9000 A3 Printer
I bought this to replace an Epson 1290. It is surprisingly slow to start printing, but once started it churns out the best quality prints at an unbeleivable speed. (Compared to the 1290) The print quality is 1st class, I can now even print good quality Black and White, I wouldn't call it"darkroom" quality, but it is certainly a great improvement. The printer comes with a driver"Easy photo Print Pro which is an add on for Canon Digital Photo Professional and for Photoshop Elements 6 which comes with the printer. It is very good for setting up the printing- you can set all margins individually and the size of the print. Very useful. NB it does not work with Photoshop Elements 8, so if you have moved on from 6 then you will have to print using Canon Digital Photo Professional to be able to use this setup. I have had the printer a month and the indications are that £ for £ it will cost at least half the cost of the Epson on ink. The cartridges are bigger, cheaper and you only replace the one thats run out. So far I have been using up my Epson Paper and been extremely happy with the result. I am now going to try the Canon best quality papers but I don't expect to see a great difference. This printer also lets you use 3rd party paper, providing set ups for some of the best independent suppliers. Last but not least after the big clunk as it starts printing it is almost silent. I am very happy so far.

Review for Canon PIXMA Pro 9500 Mark II (A3+ Printer, 4800 X 2400 dpi) Printer:
NOT plug and play
Whilst this 'may' turn out to be a good product in the long-term, it is certainly not 'plug and play'. THREE hours after following the installation instructions, I finally managed to get the head alignment programme to succeed. Only Canon knows how much ink I've wasted. Folks, call me 'mad' if you like, but when I went to see the Careers' Officer in 1979 I had no idea whatsoever that I was signing up to be the unpaid product tester for Canon, Epson, HP, Apple, and, above all, Microsoft. I come from the 'Old School' of believing that a manufacturer should release a product when it works - when it 'does what it says on the tin'. I bought this expensive printer when my Epson R800 decided to print in invisible ink. I've stayed with Epson for one reason only: when the printers die, you are usually left with over £100-£200 of unused ink cartridges. Thus you need to replace the printer to recover your investment. However, my Epson printers have given me such bad service (and their repair service is utterly disgraceful) that I thought I'd just take the pain and jump to Canon. The first printer that arrived from Amazon was sealed with common packing tape and the box was 'distressed' to say the least. This says one thing loud and clear: this is a refurbished, off display, or second-hand printer. I refused it at point of delivery. It's replacement arrived in pristine condition today, but, as I've said, has taken 3 hours to set up. That's wiped £150 at least off the face value of the printer, and the jury is out on whether it's going to deliver the goods long-term. If we continue to take such bad quality and service as sheep, the wolves of commerce will continue to bay. We MUST demand high quality merchandise and service.
