Creative shaving made easy!
I recently bought the new CruZer3, and although I was a little sceptical to begin with I now think that it's a great product, mainly because you can do so much more with it than just shave; you can style facial hair or normal hair, trim it to different lengths and cut shapes into it. I like changing my look regularly and the CruZer3 lets me do that with great ease although I have to say that it takes a little getting used to styling shapes into your facial hair or normal hair.The shaver is a good size too making it easy to handle and light to carry in a travel or wash bag. The various attachments are easy to piece together and for the price I think it's a very reasonable buy given the results you get from it. I thoroughly recommend it.

Gillette Mach3 Blades and Razor.
The Mach3 Power blades are probably at the moment the best razor blades in the world but having said this the power razor is somewhat strange. As far as I am concerned I am unsure as to (a) whether I enjoy the experience of using it (b) whether or not the power aspect gives a better shave, at moments I am convinced not. Gillette is world famous for a stream of ever better blades but surely even they will be pushed to better this one.

Having said that, it is a razor of the normal Gillette standard, and you get a free battery with it so you can test the"nitro" aspect! If you like it, buy a new battery when it runs out, if not then don't.
I'd say the novelty of having a razor that looks like a normal razor but vibrates is quite high, but I'm not sure I'd invest in another on if this one 'broke'.
4 Stars because whether the vibration is great or slightly pointless, it does take the hairs off your chin!

Good novelty value, but no more functional for it...
This is a funny little razor. I won it on a tombola, bizarrely, otherwise I might well have gone for something a little cheaper. I like Gillette's razors, and have always had them. I purchased a 6610 but after two weeks returned it to Braun under their 'money back if not satisfied' offer. I found the shaver to be too big, too bulky, too heavy, and very messy. The conditioning capsules leaked everywhere if you removed the shaver head for cleaning, and the conditioner depeleted rapidly when the razor head was rinsed under the tap. Not impressed
I'd had foil shavers previously but thought I'd try a rotary. With Remington's reputation and having had a Remington foil shaver in the past, which gave a good shave, I thought I'd try the R510. It looked good and was quiet but it didn't give a close shave at all - my old shaver removed lots more even after shaving for 10 mins with the R510 (I persisted with it for 2 weeks but it didn't improve). After shaving at 7.30am, by mid afternoon my stubble felt like a days growth when compared to my old foil shaver (a twin foil with one foil and head removed!) - very disappointing. Don't know whether it's a design fault or shaver/stubble mismatch, but I'm going to stick to foil shavers (not a Remington!) (Thankfully Amazon refunded the full cost on return of the shaver, presumably under Remington's money back guarantee - all I lost was the return postage).
