Nice Shaver

I have always used the philishave system until my coolskin gave up the ghost recently. However, I had become increasingly disillusioned with this system in recent years and opted this time to go for foil. The immediate impression on receiving the Braun was the difference in quality of the product over the Philips, heavier and much higher quality. I was disappointed after the first shave and thought I'd made a mistake but I persevered. (caused by different shaving systems and getting used to foil) Within a few days I was hooked. What a great shaver! All these years I've suffered with the rotary shavers when all the time I could have had this. The cleaning sytem is great too and certainly not a gimmick. I use it about twice a week and it leaves it looking & feeling brand new each time. Having now had this product for a few months my only gripe is it takes a fair amount of effort to get as closer shave as the philips system.

Works well when very clean and new. Blades are supposed to last 2 years before needing replacement but has been a year now and starting to shave poorly. I am going to try cleaning solution recommended by Philips to get blades working better. Having trouble finding replacement blades anywhere though! Good overall shaver.
