These appear identical to the Sony MDR-V300 DJ monitoring headphones but are fitted with a shorter lead that plugs into the 3.5mm socket on the microphone housing. The microphone lead also carries a control pod that allows remote adjustment of the phone's volume control, start, stop, pause and track change of the music player or station change of the FM radio. Phone calls can be accepted and ended using the button on the microphone. The lead serves as an antenna for the FM radio which would not be usable if wireless (e.g. Bluetooth) headphones were used. The sound quality is as good as one could expect from the Sony headphones.93

Bad Product
I had this product bought for me as a Xmas present. It looked good when I opened the box. Unfortunately the remote does not work in all modes. Neither does the machine work in button control. The sound is good but what is the point if you cannot control it via the remote or the buttons. All in all a waste of money.
