Review for HP Photosmart D7360:
Personally, and in the future, i'd save up for an A3 printer instead... it would be nice to be able to make 20x30cm prints for framing, slightly larger than this can manage.
All of this is unimportant however, as the printer stopped working afte 6 months. It won't recognise paper in the feeds (either of them). HP customer service is hopeless, either automated step-fixes (clearly this is a known issue) that don't fix, and that one MUST work through with the technicians repeatedly... why people won't accept that you've already tried these things is incomprehensible to me: were I cynical, I might feel that these were just frustrating and procrastinating tactics designed to put me off purusing my consumer rights. If not that, then there's an endless string of kafka-esque pillar-to-post passing around between departments, automated, and email helpdesks, all this despite being within guarantee. All i wanted was a replacement!
I think a view of the HP website shows that the emphasis is on business customers, where I presume most of their trade is done.
It's cheap enough, and worked well enough for a while, that £75 for 6 months of printing raises it above one star, just. I will not, however, buy HP again, particularly given the glowing reports of, for example canon's customer service.
Incidentally, amazon have been very poor in their response to my problem (asking me to contact HP, rofl). This isn't the basis for my rating, and is the exception in my experience; but a disappointment.

good while it lasted
2 stars for the 6 months of reliable, colour fast, predictable, photo prints i had from it. Inks are available and cheapish, HP paper is glossy, and the profiles are true.Personally, and in the future, i'd save up for an A3 printer instead... it would be nice to be able to make 20x30cm prints for framing, slightly larger than this can manage.

Epson S20 Photo Printer
I can heartily recommend this printer. It has only one shortcoming and that is the shortage of supplies for it at the moment. You can only buy original inks but the cost is very reasonable. It is a brand new model and for the price, I cannot fault the quality. I have today printed my first A4 photograph and I am most impressed. It is not as good as my Epson Stylus Photo 2100 but at this price, who can complain. Overall, very satisfied.48

Review for Kodak Easy Share Photo Printer Dock Series 3:
But, as other reviewers have mentioned, the ink cartridge ran out, as did my paper (which of course Kodak makes sure you can't use any other kind of paper except there own high price products). So like a shmuck i bought them both, i got enough paper but the problem was the cartridge, or should i say the printer entirely. You see this printers build is absolutely terrible, it can fall apart on its own without tampering with the screws, so it is unfortunate that you can't just pop in a new ink cartridge, oh no you gotta rip this thing apart, eagerly trying to replace the ink cartridge. So i took out the old one no problem, then I may have done something wrong, but rest assured i tried my best to but a new one in, it was EXACTLY the same as the one i removed and yet.. i didn't go in! there was a large chunk of metal machinery in the way. i looked in the manuals and all the other crap that comes with this bint, and nothing, i take the thing apart (easily) and try to forcefully remove hunk, nothing.. so no more prints for me.. which is a shame because the 2 stars this got was for the camera, which is quite good. shame the video recorder can't have sound..
i won't even bother whining about the software problems and annoyances if i haven't convinced you not to get this yet . Avoid this monstrosity.

Review for Canon SELPHY CP720 Portable Photo Printer:
I used it this weekend with my Mother - and it is great.
Easy to put together and use. Its so small you can take it anywhere - even on holiday.
The quality of print was as good as any photo shop and for under £50 what more do you want.
You can either print by connecting the camera by the lead on the printer, via the memory card slot or by the computer. The screen is not big on the printer itself but good enough - as you can view photos on you computer.
Reading the other reviews I understand that some people feel it takes time for the photo to print - for me it was very quick and considering you can take a picture then print it instantly - what more do you want.
The photo paper does have the postcard backing - but correct me if I am wrong - you are viewing the photo not the back of the photo!
I worked it out to be 14p per print - depending on where you buy the paper/ink set.
I loved this printer so much I will be getting myself one.

Review for Canon PIXMA Pro9500 A3+ Professional Inkjet Printer.:
Ink is expensive and relatively hard to find. Unlike the CLI-8 cartidges for the Pro 9000, there's no multi-pigment PGI-9 pack for this machine. I'm paying £11.74 per cartridge (inc VAT) which means refilling all 10 tanks is about £125 including delivery. Coverage isn't great so it can be expensive to run. Colour fidelity (e.g. flesh tones) can drift significantly when cartridges are low rather than empty, so you have to be ready to change cartridges the first time you see a warning rather than waiting for the 'empty' message. Stock up on extra black and grey cartridges if you like to print in mono.
Canon paper (not easy to find in shops) has a bewildering classification system. For example, Canon says 'Photo Paper Pro' is their 'flagship professional photo paper', but this paper isn't supported by the 9500's bundled 'Easy PhotoPrint Pro' plug-in for Photoshop, and in fact is not recommended for the Pro 9500, though it is for the 8-colour Pro 9000. The difference between SG-101 and SG-201 papers is hard to understand, etc. You can work all this out by diligent web searches - the trick is not to buy a lot of expensive paper until you have worked out exactly what you want.
Bottom line: a 5-star piece of equipment slightly let down by the complexity of keeping it stocked with ink and appropriate paper.

Review for Canon PIXMA Pro9500 A3+ Professional Inkjet Printer.:
Gives fantastic results, but a few niggles too
Mono and full colour output from this 10-pigment printer are gorgeous and it is a wonderful gift for more advanced amateur photographers - the sort who are already using Adobe Photoshop etc - if they have enough space for a unit that's 66cm (26 inches) wide.Ink is expensive and relatively hard to find. Unlike the CLI-8 cartidges for the Pro 9000, there's no multi-pigment PGI-9 pack for this machine. good photo quality
Yeah the photo quality is good, however it does not like printing. I often find myself spending 1/2 hour + trying to make the printer realise that there is paper in the tray, and this is even more difficult when it is photo paper. If you can over come this problem then it is an excellant printer
