Setting up connection with bluetooth takes only a minute most important thing ink is very cheap one carrtage last nearly 65 prints on standred photo setting. Also it has a built in multi memory card reader too.

Firstly, the software contantly reports that there is a communications problem with the scanner. This happens when using either the network or local USB. The support site provides remedies such as"is the computer on and the cable plugged in" but not much else to help resolve the issue. I eventually gor round this by having to run the software in"compatability mode" Windows 2000. The printer has even worse issues. The on board paper sensor is hopeless. It will not pick up high gloss photo paper at A4 size. Postcard size photo paper...forget it. Takes it into the printer and jams each and every time. Paper jams seem to be this printers main failing along with the hopeless paper sensor. I have written to HP Support as well as emaile3d them but have had no response in the last six, yes six, weeks.
If I were to be awhether I recommend this all in opne device, it is a resounding NO. Do not waste your time or money on this piece of very expensive doorstop. Buy an Epsom or Canon instead.

Nice prints but not much else
I originally bought this multi function device because we use the HP brand at work and have so far had no issues with them. Unfortunately, this is not the case with their made for home products. The HP 2575 certainly delivers when it comes to the quality of its prints, especially its photo prints. The scanner is functional but nothing to write home about. Great little printer
At the time I write this review this printer is far cheaper when bought direct from Amazon rather than from third parties on the website.I've not had one of these little photo printers before, and have spent plenty of time wrestling with full size printers trying to get them to print photos the way I want. I'm very pleased with how easy things are on the PictureMate. Very quick to set up, and quick and clean to load the ink cartridge. The printer just accepts images from memory cards, computer, or camera without any fuss - it would be hard to go wrong. The photos were very good quality 'straight from the box' but it pays to also have a look at the menu options listed in the printed manual. You can make your photos a bit sharper or the colour a bit stronger etc. if you want. It comes with a reasonable amount of paper and ink to start you off. Subsequently you buy the paper and ink cartridge as a pack and each photo will cost about 20p.
There is no cable supplied to connect the printer to a computer and, of course, you are limited to 6 x 4in prints. That said, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would happily make the same choice again. Should have bought one ages ago!
