Review for Sony PlayStation 2 Console (Slimline):
all the Xbox and gamecube owners who say that the PS2 has crap graphics need to remeber that it came out a year before both of theses consoles.
it has a huge selection of games and don't believe people who say that they are all crap or average. it has lots of great games like Metal Gear Solid 2, Devil May Cry 3, Killzone, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Dynasty Warriors 4 to name some. add to that your favourite PS1 games and DVDs and you've got alot of hours you can spend on this machine.
my PS2 did break but it was after around 4 years. i'm considering buying a new one (even though i have an XBox 360 and Xbox) just to play some of my favourite games again.

An essential accessorie for you PS2
This is a well working, good coloured card. It is the right size to fit in the memory card holders provided in the game cases. It might not be big enough because i have deleted data ,even though it hasn't been full. When you scroll about in the memory card menu it is easy and obvious to distingiuish game saves etc. Maybe not big enough but i cannot speak about that because i have deleted data at inappropriate time, that is my only bad comment, apart from that it is great! 9.5/106

Superb.
Not much to write about this, 5 Stars explains it all; Brillant design and very family friendly, minor improvements would be need but have been made with the PS3 controller Six Axis Now out.The SIXAXIS controller, now wireless, is the same design with minor improvements with the L2/R2 buttons travelling further. Better feel, espically with FPS games. The controller is very stable and Untill Xbox360 Controller came out, leagues ahead of the other controllers, 5 Stars well deserved. Overall Rating 10/10!7

Graphics
I was also very disapointed with this game. The graphics are terrrible. When i played it with my sister it echoed all the time. I was very excited about it when i got it for christmas mostly because it looked fun, i like hsm 1 and 2 and that the singstar company where part of the making of it. But when i played it it was rubbish! The graphics are all blurry and as most of the other reviews say the bouncy basketball was very distracting not helpful and it wasn't the acctual characters singing it. The other thing that was dissapointing about it was that the words arn't the same in the movie. They have changed words and added words. If i was you i wouldn't buy it.9
Review for Guitar Hero: Aerosmith - Solus (PS2):
Yes - there are new guitars and outfits to buy, Great!!
Yes - there are new songs to play if you have grown tired of the ones on 1,2,3 and Rock The 80's.
Yes - you do get little interview type snippets about Aerosmith between each section of Career mode.
Yes - You can hear the crowd joining in on the encore songs which is a nice touch.
BUT it is VERY disappointing that there are not more of the well known Aerosmith songs.
More commonly known songs on the game are Love in an Elevator, Walk This Way (and remix including Run DMC), Ragdoll, Pink, Living On The Edge, Dream On and Sweet Emotion......
This game really needed other songs including fan favourites like Jaded, (Dude) Looks Like A Lady, Cryin, Janie's Got A Gun, Crazy, Angel, and Don't Wanna Miss A Thing.
The opening act songs are nothing to get excited about and the covers although ok aren't brilliant.
The game also surprised me by not having a Co-Op career option as this was a great addition to GH3.
Also Steve Tylers face is really weird.... I am surprised he allowed the game to go on general sale!!
After completing all the songs on day of purchase I immediately got my antidote of Guitar Hero 3 out and played it happily!!
To sum up the game.
If you don't like Aerosmith - I wouldn't bother with it
If you do like Aerosmith - I wouldn't bother with it
If you LOVE Aerosmith - You might want it but I wouldn't bother with it
Buy it if you want different songs to add to your guitar hero collection, but that's about it really.
This game has 3 stars as it is a fun game, but fans will be sad that it wasn't a LOT better.
If you want a Guitar Hero game, my humble opinion says get GH3.

OK, so the music during build up is crap and you cant play as Swansea or Colchester. Who gives a damn? One thing I love about the pro eve game is the"register player" feature listed under"edit" mode. Here you can keep up to date with all the transfers as and when they happen. My liverpool side now has Degen and Schwarzer now plays at Fulham. Review for Meet the Robinsons (PS2):
In 'Meet the Robinsons' players embark on an alternate quest from the main movie. Playing as Wilbur Robinson - a headstrong future child from light-years beyond - the game takes players through an alternate story from the film. (In the movie, Wilbur acts as a supporting character, but designers opted to give him the star treatment in the game) Even though the story is essentially just a setup for labyrinth-based action (think of a kid-friendly Zelda adventure) the game's presentation has definitely taken notes from the franchise, as the game's menu interface, character performances, voices, events, and attitude is all within the Robinson theme.
When it comes to the main gameplay, it's pretty formulaic, though what's there still feels fine. It's a pretty solid compilation of everything you'd expect in a third-person adventure. Dungeons are made up of basic object-moving puzzles or platforming mazes, and each one is filled with area-specific baddies and bosses. The game adds diversity by including a blueprint/invention system, which allows players to build new items throughout the adventure, and it does work to add some depth to the otherwise formulaic design.
Meet the Robinsons is - quite simply - a movie/game. The gameplay is basic, but it takes inspiration from better titles out there, and it all works well. The license is the primary focus of the title (obviously), so you'll spend just as much time living in the world, interacting with the characters, and watching movie-inspired cuts-scenes as you will engaged in the gameplay, but that's part of what makes it work. It has the overall look of the film, the original voice actors make an appearance, and as an extension to the movie it's a fine choice for younger gamers or families. There's very little true innovation in the design, but a mix of entertaining gadgets keeps the experience from becoming mundane. All in all Meet the Robinsons is a solid effort, lacking some of the overall polish of games with a higher budget and longer development time, but it fulfills its goal of tying the film world to an interactive medium; an exact definition to what I consider a 3 star game.

Review for Meet the Robinsons (PS2):
Good solid movie-tie-in release
When it comes to licensed games based on popular movies,we all know pretty much what to expect. The game will borrow from its license and offer the licensed characters in a tried and true gameplay design (usually a Platform game!) So it should go without saying that while 'Meet the Robinsons' is a decent enough attempt at the"movie-tie-in-game", there isn't anything that's really going to blow players away. However it should be noted that the game brings forth a decent blend of 3D platforming and adventure elements and is inspired well from the film, and borrows well from some of gaming's core designs. In 'Meet the Robinsons' players embark on an alternate quest from the main movie. Playing as Wilbur Robinson - a headstrong future child from light-years beyond - the game takes players through an alternate story from the film. Much like the film, you play the cute Penguin Mumble, who can't
sing but can tapdance brilliantly, for a penguin. The levels are basic, Dancing, Sleding down a cliff or

Review for Gran Turismo 4 (PS2):
GT4 still does contain more Japanese cars than American and European cars (it is a Japanese game, after all) but the choice of non-Japanese cars has been greatly improved and GT4 boasts even more racing circuits than it's predecessors. There are about 700 different cars to choose from all told, covering most car manufacturers. The cars vary from racing cars, rally cars, road cars and even concept cars.
Each car has been beautifully rendered to give a very realistic appearance. Handling also varies from car to car, depending on if it's 4WD, front wheel drive, etc. I also love the fact that they have incorporated 0-1000m test trials from the previous games, as it gives me great enjoyment to just test loads of different cars and compare their performance to one another.
The game is just massive with a whole array of different racing types, ranging from rally, to compact car racing to high-speed Le Mans racing.
Realistically, it would take most people months and months to complete the game. I have been playing it regularly off and on for a few months now and have only completed about 17% of the game!
There have been one or two criticisms of GT4. Firstly, some people complain that the physics of the cars are too similar to each other and don't really give a true"simulation" experience. Secondly, the complaint that many cars are identical, with the only difference being the year or a couple of horsepower difference. Lastly, of course, there are no exotic manufacturers like Ferraris, Lambos and Maseratis but this doesn't bother me since those cars have been repeatedly used in so many other racing cars.
Well, unfortunately, there was a game which set out to be 100% true to real life when it came to the cars' physics: it was called Enthusia Professional Racing. However, most people complained that the handling was too hard so I suppose Sony can't satisfy everyone! I do agree, however, that some cars have been unnecessarily overused, such as the Nissan Skyline and some other Japanese models.
Saying that, however, there is a very good selection of American and European cars for fans of Alfas, Mercs, BMs, Renaults, Chevys, Dodges, etc.
If you're a fan of racing games, this one is a must!

Best game I've ever played........Period
I've always been a huge fan of the GT series. I remember being so excited about playing the first Gran Turismo on the PS1 when it first came out. The graphics were ground-breaking at the time and the selection of cars was amazing, even if the first game was limited to nearly all Japanese cars.GT4 still does contain more Japanese cars than American and European cars (it is a Japanese game, after all) but the choice of non-Japanese cars has been greatly improved and GT4 boasts even more racing circuits than it's predecessors. Indi-tastic!!!
This is money well spent! If you liked Lego Star Wars 1 & 2 then this is for you! Buy it! Play it! Keep playing it! By Christmas you still want to play it!
You can't go wrong on a game that really does not end and on the PS2 it is superb. I was going to get a PS3 but if this is the quality still being produced in sound, graphic and game play long live the PS2!!!
Creating your own Lego game characters is great as well. I made Mutt from the new film so I can have father and son running around with whips and guns. It is so good it even looks like him! To adda British cultural twist I made a David Tennent Doctor Lego character armed with a book to help solve the puzzles! Its that good and impressive!
Enjoy this neverending fun game. Roll on Lego Indiana Jones II: The new adventures!
