Review for Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition (PS3):
Best Game Ever (And I've played hundreds)
This game is simply the best game I have ever played and will probably ever play. I have never had a favourite game that I owned until this one. There were a few favourites as everyone has (GTA 4, COD 4 etc) but this is simply the best. The Environment that you play in is the most beautifully, breathtaking environment that you will see and it is HUGE. The gameplay is the best I've ever known and after over 300 hours (estimated although it's probably longer!) I'm still playing. I only recently completed the quest but I still have not seen the whole game environment or been inside all the caves, forts, etc that are all over the place. I'm pretty sure I haven't found them all yet aswell!!!! This game will take over a large part of your life once you play for the first time. It really will. Everything becomes secondary. Even my wife preferred watching me play this for the evening than watching SKY TV. Trust me everyone when I say that is probably the biggest compliment I can give to any game. Normally it was when are you finshing up. Now it's when are you playing!! Sorry I got to go now and play again. I'm suffering withdrawel symptoms while writing this. Must try and get my character to level 34.84
Review for Playstation 3 Ps3 Nintendo Wii Vga Monitor Cable Lead:
The new settings now work for the Wii games but any emulator or Gamecube games have that same first error message. Just a heads up for anyone purchasing this make sure you know what you're doing or know that you have a compatible monitor, I tried mine on 3 different monitors.

VGA cable adaptor Insight
I recently bought this cable in hope to link my Wii console to my Samsung LCD 19" monitor, reading the other reviews I thought this would be perfect for the job, however on linking the two via the cable, all I got was"not optimum mode, recommended mode: 1680 x 1050 60HZ".The only way I found to fix this problem was to connect the Wii up to a HD TV and then select the 480p choice in the settings. The new settings now work for the Wii games but any emulator or Gamecube games have that same first error message. Just a heads up for anyone purchasing this make sure you know what you're doing or know that you have a compatible monitor, I tried mine on 3 different monitors.

I'm sure some of the other features are great but i'm not going to get to use these because the control system is unfathomable and infuriating. I won't even trade this in as some poor other person who has heard the ridiculous hype might waste money on it!
I would recommend spending the time you would have to invest actually learning to skateboard!

Overhyped and out of control
The control system for this game makes absolutely no sense. Half the time it doesn't perform the 'flickit' tricks anyway. After a couple of the most infuriating hours of my life trying to get to grips with this control system I have given up.I'm sure some of the other features are great but i'm not going to get to use these because the control system is unfathomable and infuriating. The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle
Why is this game so expensive? It's supposed to be next gen but comes with wired mic's and standard def music videos. It's been delayed for six months but there are about ten times less songs to download than promised. I thought track were going to be free to those that had already purchased the PS2 version. I feel like an idjit for waiting for this game, I could've got a PS2 version with a better selection of songs for half the price.91
Review for Half-Life 2: The Orange Box (PS3):
For someone who has never played Half Life 2, this is an essential purchase. Even on a second play it remains gripping and lots of fun.
Half Life games have a tradition of redefining what makes a shooter great. With the originals release in 1998, the focus on narrative was completely refreshing. With Half Life 2, Valve placed great emphasis on physics and the way objects react within its world. As it was first released in 2004, its slightly showing its age, but no game has done it better since. This is helped in no small part by the Gravity Gun. A superb innovation that never gets boring, and makes weapons out of everyday objects.
Episode 1 is a solid if forgettable expansion pack, with only the level Lowlife providing any real excitement.
Luckily Episode 2 serves up an electrifyng change of pace, switching locations and offering a new vehicle, in addition to several new weapons and enemies.
Unfortunately the Half Life saga is left on yet another cliffhanger, as Episode 3 is still some way from completion. It needs to arrive soon, as the Source Engine is already looking dated when compared to the likes of Bioshock or Call of Duty 4. There are some nice HD effects, but its disappointing more hasnt been done to update the visuals.
Of the versions available, PS3 loses out, which certainly shouldnt be the case.
Having played this on a friends 360, the load times are shorter and the annoying slowdown when too much happens on screen is non existent. This is completely unacceptable.
Portal is truly unique and has to be played to get any idea what its about. And without an internet conecton,Tem Fortress 2 is useless to me. But thats the beauty of The Orange Box. There truly is something for every shooter addict. Be it obscure, epic or online.

Poor Conversion But A Classic Nonetheless
Incredible value for money. Half Life 2 is one of the best shooters ever made, this package also includes Episodes 1 & 2 which continue the story, along with puzzle game Portal and online shooter Team Fortress 2.For someone who has never played Half Life 2, this is an essential purchase. Even on a second play it remains gripping and lots of fun.

Good fun but weird
It can get a little weird at times and you can often leave an area without meaning too. eg. avoinding folks and ending up going back into the area youve just come from as there is a pause while the next screen loads (most annoying). This, and its often not clear where your going as the map is rubbish, and the story line is lost on me. However the graphics are great and the music/ soundtrack is really nice. At £27... its worth a buy. Ive found a few glitches as well where the character gets stuck .. however get a faq/walkthrough for the more difficult bits and you'll enjoy it.. as even when you know what to do its still a challenge.93

Review for Driving Force Pro Wheel for PS3:
Then came along this steering wheel. 900deg of rotation...like a steering wheel in a real car...3 turns lock to lock...like in a real car. If you thought Gran Turismo was realistic, this steering wheel takes it to the next level of realism. In my opinion then next level beyond this would be an air bag deploying when you crash :-)
All aspects of this steering wheel are perfect, the only negative I would say is that the motors are a little noisy but then that is me being a bit pedantic.
Another key aspect I like, when you are hammering down the start finish straight in a Nissan GTR, braking at the last minute, the last thing you need is for the pedals moving when you are hard on the brakes, not with this set up. Logitechs unique carpet grip system ensures the pedals do not move. Incidently whilst I am on the subject of braking, the pedals are like in a real car where the accelerator is light and free whereas the brake pedal has resistance, the harder you press, the harder the car brakes.
All in all, if you can't afford the G25, then go for this one, there are no compromises, this is an amazing wheel, the G25 is more amazing.

At last a proper steering wheel.
I have always hated gaming steering wheels, not one of them worked realistically. No matter how much I persevered I simply could not get used to how sensetive they were. Then came along this steering wheel. 900deg of rotation...like a steering wheel in a real car...3 turns lock to lock...like in a real car. Review for Time Crisis 4 (with Gun) (PS3):
the reason it is like this is because of the new gun laws.
fake guns now have to be painted in bright colours, and cannot be detailed, making sure no one thinks it's a real gun. (even though it has wires on it lol)

Review for Skate (PS3):
EA Skate has redefined this genre. I tried the Tony Hawk games after i completed this, and they were awful in comparison. EA conrol mechanism is the key to realsim, and hopefully they will release more titles like a BMX version or extenstions to Skate. They will sell by the bucket load.
The game has huge lastability to. I completed the game within 2-3 months, but once you get that good you can play against other friends in online mode. I practically play most evenings. It was in fact the the only reason i brought the PS3.
The only game i think that's got the same feel as this (but with guns instead of skateboards) is GTA IV. Rockstar had 2 attempts at that before it really broke the mode. Electronic Arts did it in one hit!!! I don't say that lightly but EA Skate really is the BEST game of the last 9 months or so.
Buy it now. You'll be kicking yourself u didn't get it sooner.

Must have for XBOX360 and PS3 owners
This is one of the best games on the PS3. The realism and challenges are the best i've ever scene. It opens up this sport to people who are into and are not into skateboarding alike. The freedom of movement, no rules, refrees, pressure. The ability to define what, where and when you do it realy does catch the spirit of skateboarding...EA Skate has redefined this genre. Review for Dark Sector (PS3):
There's no need to go too much in depth with the story, because it really isnt all that great. It never fully explores itself, presenting characters you dont need to care about and often leaving you alone for a few hours before popping up with a random cut scene, giving a quite disjointed feel.
Yet Dark Sector still has enough going for it. Besides the fact that throwing your glaive at enemies in the hope of causing decapitations and lacerations never gets old, the combat system is fairly challenging, with a few fairly tricky boss battles. It utilises a Gears of War style point-and-shoot-from-cover system, which might sound dull but suits the game well. Also, the game's atmosphere is constantly thick and delciously bleak, and at times really can grab you. Coupled with a host of tricky enemies, the game presents a fairly balanced challenge.
On the whole, Dark Sector is worth its asking price for the glaive and all its harrowing possibilities. The developer's do need a few more lessons on telling a story, because a fairly promising premise was ruined with poor implementation here. That said, the combat and atmoshpherics were more than enough to see me through to the game's end. An unbalanced treat.

Review for Dark Sector (PS3):
A triumph for action over story
Dark Sector is a funny old game. Playing as a secret opps agent called Hayden Tenno, you're sent to a Russian state on one final mission, but are infected with a deadly virus that has been ravaging the locals. Somehow, it has served to make you stronger, including metalising your body and giving you a triple bladed boomerang potruding from your hand called a glaive. Your basic quest is to shoot and slash your way through the story, separating as many limbs from your enmies as possible and causing as much destruction as you can along the way. There's no need to go too much in depth with the story, because it really isnt all that great. It never fully explores itself, presenting characters you dont need to care about and often leaving you alone for a few hours before popping up with a random cut scene, giving a quite disjointed feel.

Bad!!! Bad!!! Bad!!!
this game is very repetitive and frustrating.at the beginning this game seems fun and colorful, but quickly turns
dull and boring.
although this game is portrait to be great it lacks effort.
the new silver character at first is also great
but all he can do is fly 2cm and and lift up 2 cars and miss the enemy.
the towns are also boring and are tiny.
although this is what many sonic fans like about the games i find myself wanting to get a refund
