Okay, it's a bit battle-scarred and it's underpowered by today's standards but I'd rather buy a replacement battery and extra stylus rather than part with it. It does everything I need it to do. I even unlocked the region coding on a DVD player with it - what a versatile piece of kit! And I bought TWO MagicGate Memory Sticks for it... It's a pity it couldn't handle a 256MB MagicGate Memory Stick...
Still, I carry photographs, music and documents with me (and a USB IR dongle). You want that document? I plug the dongle into your PC USB socket and beam it direct from the Clié... It's already in MS Word format thanks to Documents to Go which was bundled with mine.
Need something printed, beam it to the printer with an IR port...
Colleagues at work want to show me the features on their own PDAs but they tend to get bogged down in finding what they want to show off. I just click on an icon and I'm there.
I've read reviews of other PDAs and yet I'm not tempted... My Clié does it all.
An excellent product - a great Pity Sony pulled out of this market.

My first PDA ...
I bought mine in 2003. Clie carrying case PEGA-CA92
This case is genuine leather (it says so inside the top flap even if it doesn't on the usual on-line product descriptions). It is especially designed by Dooney & Bourke (no, I've never heard of them either) for the Clie NX73V and it's a good snug fit.As well as holding the Clie, there are two front pockets for memmory cards and a thin deeper pocket at the back (suitable for the keyboard operation/grafitti reminder card or your business card in case you leave the case somewhere). A belt loop on the back would enable you to hang it around your waistline if you feel that need.
Most importantly however, this case enables you to carry the Clie around in style while protecting it from whatever it will bounce into in your briefcase, sliding aroound the car, etc.
And if there's a reasonable chance of it saving your clie (and asscoiated files, data, etc) then the price is a bargain.
