Salt and pepper piglets
I was thinking of ordering the larger salt pig but noticed the smaller version with both salt and pepper pigs. Quite small when I first openned the box and I was thinking of sending them back. But they hold quite alot of rock salt and crushed black peppercorns. They do look good on the table and everyone has remarked how cute they look.

Thus there isn't much of a rim on the base, only a slight depression so that the bottom centre of the colander is not flat on the sink. So if there is any dirty water in the sink, it could easily bounce back and touch the food in the colander.

A bit too big!
I have had this colander for a few months. I love its look but now find it a bit too big. In the end I purchased the smaller one and use it much more often, as I am mostly cooking for 1-2 people. Nice looking ornament for your kitchen
This looks great, but if you like using lots of black pepper in your cooking, this is not productive enough....I now use a 'Peppermate' as used by the Barefoot Contessa...which I ordered online from America. And the William Bounds one for seasoning steak fish etc prior to grilling..93

Worst Product Ever!!
I got 2 of these for my father-in-law as Christmas present. I'm using the Farringdon electric mills which cost only 10 pounds each. These were more expensive but they broke down time and again and had to be sent back to Amazon.co.uk many times.Now they are still not working and I can no longer return these to Amazon.co.uk. I called up Kitchencraft's customer service and was told to post them back at my own expense with a letter to say what's wrong with it?
This is the worst product! I really regret my purchase of these products which cause me much inconvenience and embarassment!
