Review for PSP Slim and Lite (Black):
Great piece of Multi-media kit
In the past I did own the original PSP. This unit was thicker, heavier and the battery life left a lot to be desired. The Slim & Light is what the PSP should of been when it was first released. It's alot lighter and slimer than the Mk1 version. The battery life is so much better and lasts a hell of alot longer. Also now that Storage has become alot cheaper then the PSP is really the machine to go for if you want to watch films and play games on the move. I agree it's still big for just a music player and would find it hard to recommend for this use. But to watch films it's excellent, mainly down to the screen size. The Mk2 version does feel alittle cheaper in build quality but you soon forget this as the added features make up for this. The bottom line is if you travel alot and want to watch films and play games on the move, then this is the machine to go for, full stop! You can get a DS lite for games, but there's only so much Brain training you can do.

Review for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (PSP):
The combat system, though, is very different from the original game, and takes a bit of getting used to - but only a little but. the learning curve is fairly gentle and the combat and customisation is so intuitive that you can be as involved or as removed as you like and still do quite well.
This game is really a must have for any FFVII fan - great story, great graphics, intuitive combat and brilliant customisation; in other words, exactly what you'd expect from a Final Fantasy game.

Review for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core (PSP):
Best game on PSP
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is undoubtedly the best game on the PSP, especially so if you played and made the connection with the original FFVII. The story is brilliant, giving a lot of extra back story behind Zack Fair, Cloud's first real friend in Shinra and add's a lot more depth to the ever-enigmatic character of Sepiroth. The graphics, for the PSP, are incredible; easily the best looking game i've seen on the system. In all honesty, at some moments you look at the scenery around you and it is truly breathtaking - i've seen worse looking 360 games. The combat system, though, is very different from the original game, and takes a bit of getting used to - but only a little but. the learning curve is fairly gentle and the combat and customisation is so intuitive that you can be as involved or as removed as you like and still do quite well.

Review for Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PSP):
1. In my opinion the loading times take ages and will will really annoy you, even for corners there are loading times.
2. Also there is hardly any commentary.
STILL IT IS WAY BETTER THAN FIFA AND HAS GRAET GRAPHICS. Worth a punt!

Review for FIFA 08 (PSP):
However, it's got some massive glitches and gaps.
Most annoying are the penalties given as free kicks, outside of the box. The offside and backpass rules are also a bit sketchy. Also, if you aren't a first tier team, the commmentary is pretty dull.
The game engine and AI aren't great. Runs are poor, as are through balls. Passing is ridiculous, with bad choices often being the first choise over an easy lay off.
The buttons are similar to the wholly superior PES, except for shoot/lob being reversed and the really annoying use of 'x' as 'change player' not 'default (eg. short pass/block tackle)'.
This is my first and last foray into the FIFA franchise. This isn't just sour grapes - my first two seasons at Southampton yielded the Championship, the Premiership, 2 League Cups, 2 FA Cups, the EFA (sic) Cup and the Charity Shield.

Review for Sony Hi-Capacity Battery Pack (PSP):
Does the job
This battery is fine. It does what is says, longer battery life than the one provided with the PSP. However, i bought mine not as a replacement battery, but as an extra one for when i went on holiday via COACH! It was fine, no problems at all, the only slight negative was that it was difficult to take out of the PSP,i found that i had to use a coin to lever it out. In comparison, the PSP battery provided when you first buy the PSP is easier to take out but has less battery life. The battery doesn't hinder holding the PSP and doesn't give off electric shocks or anything like that so overall a very sound product.11

Review for SEGA Mega Drive Collection (PSP):
Thank you SEGA, I take it all back!
I was so pleased to hear about this coming out, especially after owning SEGA Classics on PS2 and writing a rather harsh but true review for it on Amazon! This is an absolute blinder of a SEGA comp and they have truely redeemed themselves by putting 27 titles, which include a large percentage of great well known games (Sonic 1 & 2, Ecco The Dolphin, Golden Axe 1,2,3) and not so well known classics (Vectorman 1 & 2 and Ristar) on one UMD with spot on emulation that pretty much mirrors the original quality of the games and audio soundtracks, unlike the EA Replay comp, in which they emitted the original Road Rash music (WHAT!?). Yes its a shame Streets Of Rage isn't on here but they're probably gonna release another one with that on, Can't wait for that! Also it has improved since my initial assesment as the new psp has a much better d pad for retro similarity, for those who prefer not to use the joystick. But overall I cant fault it, and you can pick it up for less than a tenner in some places. Bargain, and one of the best retro compilations around! BUY IT!!13
Review for Everybody's Golf 2 (PSP):
The old Everybody's Golf had a mode where you could play against people near you via wi fi and provided they had their own game, which was fun. This new game takes it one step further in that you can play against people over the internet (provided you have wi fi access) either with people local to you (which I presume is the country you are in) or global which is self explanatory. You can also play with people near you too as in the old game.
I have played in global mode in a tournament against people from USA, GB and Japan. The gameplay here is excellent and the top four get placed, I think you win items here because I was awarded one for coming 2nd.
It is very similar to the new Everybody's Golf for the PS3, just a cut down version but will satisfy anyone who suffers withdrawal systems from the PS3 version and wants a more mobile version of the game.
Graphics are on par with the previous game as far as I can tell which means they are excellent still.
It is an easy game to play, basic controls are just pressing the x button twice to hit the ball, though cleverer people can add all sorts of gameplay by pressing other buttons to introduce backspin and the like. However, I get by just fine on just pressing x.
The game is suitable for all ages and provides a lot of fun whether you want to do the challenges or just want a quick game of console golf.
I can definitely recommend it.

Lots of Fun
Everybody's Golf 2 has the same gameplay as the original Everybody's Golf. You start off with two players and by winning items for them you improve how they play, this is in challenge mode. You win 3 types of cards and have to win 5 in each to open a vs character. If successful against the character you are then able to play with him/her. You also have tournament, practice and mini game modes. I have only played in challenge mode at the moment, because I am trying to make my players play better. A welcome improvement
Ok so this is a scaled down version of the PC game. So what? it is brilliant. The new features added have enhanced the game and I once again find my life draining away much to the annoyance of the missus. I have been buying FM or before that champ for over ten years and this is a very good version compared to all the rest, it is certainly the best PSP version. Allowing tactics to be adjusted is long overdue to be included and I now find myself playing 2-4-1-3. Player interaction is simple but again a welcome improvement. For some reason Goran Pandev is a goal machine but hey these things happen. My only small problem would be that I do need to stop every now and again so that my eyes do not bleed as the new skin is quite painful. Well done SI, the best complement I can think of is my missus hates you.15

Review for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (PSP):
A really good game !
I read most of the reviews on this game, only one was bad and they were wrong. This is an amazing game all the soldiers are really cool there are tones of guns and every soldier is recruitable. The levels are long but not really long and quite fun. A good bit of this game is you can choose where you go and what you do. Each of the soldiers has a different job some are spys some are gamblers they have more chance of hitting a vunerable spot or getting hit in one. A must buy for stealth fans and fans of the other games, by the way this game is in real time unlike in metal gear acid on psp buy this game for the psp its amazing, the online modes really good and not fiddly at all. BUY THIS GAME!17

Review for Final Fantasy I (PSP):
The gameplay is really good. Its a good premise, with certain items needing to be found to unlock a new area, to get new stuff etc. It has a lot of play value in it and you may well find yourself stuck.
I have racked up almost 10 hours of play already on this and I'm only about half way through. If you like your games long and deep there is no better buy than this, especially at this price.

Great but not quite Final Fantasy...
Great game as a stand alone title, with an excellent combat system, fantastic music and really well developed characters. The only problem with it is that it just didn't seem to fit into the final fantasy 7 brand - it was a bit too upbeat for most of it, almost like kingdom hearts rather than FF7.
I don't think it contributes to the story too, given that zack was just a single scene flashback.
But like i said, as a standalone game, it was great! Well worth a play.
