Review for Need for Speed: Carbon - Own The City (PSP):
For a start the choice of cars is pretty good and the actual 'team' racing is so much fun.
I would reccomend this game to anyone as the graphics and sound are good for a psp game and it is just fun in general.
Although i do have one problem. There seems to be a glitch were the road dissappears for a couple of seconds but it doesnt happen very often.
Overall this is a great game. Well worth buying it!

Review for Final Fantasy I (PSP):
Here's what I think about the game...
1)Gameplay=9/10. The gameplay may not be as long as some Final Fantsy games and there's not really any side quests on here. In fact there's none at all but it still keeps you wanting to play more and increase your levels. I'm roughly about 10 hours into it and my characters are at level 25. Also the main characters (4 of them) don't have a main name. You just have to make up your own name for them.
2)Graphics=8/10. The graphics aren't exactly PSP graphics because it's a remake but they've made the characters a tiny bit cartoony which is perfect because it doesn't look rubbish in pretty much no way at all.
3)Sounds=9/10. As with any Final Fantasy game it has amazing sounds especially during battle sequences and short video clips where the game is telling you about a certain part of the story. Every city has a different piece of music that goes to it and there all great bits of music that are sure to get stuck in your head when your trying to get to sleep. I don't think there's a single bit of the game that doesn't have sounds unless there's a specific reason as to why it doesn't have sounds.
The first FF game I ever played was X-2 not knowing at the time that it was a sequel of X. I also thought that all the FF games were linked to one story and that all the characters were in every game. So I thought that Yuna, Rikku and Paine had been in every other FF. How wrong I was but yeah overall I would say that this is a must have game if your a fan of FF.

Review for Final Fantasy I (PSP):
The First Of A Phenomenon
Well if your a fan of the Final Fantasy games then I would say that you should recommend buying this as it's the very first Final Fantasy and so far the best remake. The reason why I brought this game was because I just wanted to know what the story was about to the very first game of Final Fantasy but when I started playing I was immediatly addicted. Here's what I think about the game...

Another TR winner for the PSP
The PSP is made for the Tomb Raider series of games. The quick interplay, and graphics, are simply a dream and the game flows well. I was impressed with TR Legend and wondered what Anniversary would be like. I shouldn't have worried, it performed superbly. One are, for me, where Anniversary lacks is in terms of interaction with vehicles etc , but as this virtually an updated version of the very first TR that I played on PS1 on those years ago I'm not complaining. Please, please, please can we have a new Tomb Raideron PSP soon?

Review for The Sims 2 (PSP):
Firstly, the loading times are absolutely terrible! It can take anything up to 30 seconds for your Sim to take any action! And when talking to a Sim (it's like a minigame - you have to press the right buttons in order to sucessfully advance a friendship level with that Sim) the loading times can get annoying and may cost you points and therefore fail in advancing friendship level.
Another problem with this game is the buy mode. It's not the content I'm criticising. As you can save your game on the PSP memory stick, I was assuming that I was able to place as many items as possible and that when I bought more items to put in the Sim's house, it would just simply take up more of the memory. But no. There is a limit to what you can put in your house. It's a big house as well and the limit makes your house look empty. The game makers might as well not have bothered putting in some of those rooms!
So to sum up, it could've been a great game if it wasn't for the long loading times.

Fun at first, but...
I am a big Sims fan. When I first played on the Sims 2 on PSP, my initial reaction was that it had good graphics, the create a sim mode was decent enough and it had an interesting storyline. However, as I gradually played through the game, I was losing interest in the game. Why?Firstly, the loading times are absolutely terrible! It can take anything up to 30 seconds for your Sim to take any action! And when talking to a Sim (it's like a minigame - you have to press the right buttons in order to sucessfully advance a friendship level with that Sim) the loading times can get annoying and may cost you points and therefore fail in advancing friendship level.

excellent
I've lost count of the number of times i've played through this game. For me at least i find it has great replayability as you try to complete each level without loosing any squad members etc.It suits the PSP perfectly as it is turn based so can be picked up and played easily without wearing your left thumb to the bone Also as i own several consoles and have found mostly crap on the PSP I was delighted with this game. Great atmosphere and unit moddeling. The very short cutscenes between levels are exceptionnaly well rendered and you can tell alot of effort and care was put into making it. Personally it's my favourite game on the PSP. Also i've never played the 40k boardgame so i'm not a total fanboy although since playing this and Dawn of war i've begun reading the books which i would also recommend.53

OMG were all gonna die
this is one of my favourite games on the psp even thought it did scare the living s**t out of me. i think the music is great it is often the thing that makes the hairs on the back of your neck prick up giving you the 'OMG were all gonna die' feeling you got in previous silent hills. I think this game works beautifully on handheld i had no problem with the camera angles and being in certain locations really adds to the horror ie. on the tram at night (not a good idea i warn you). overall i think this is a brilliant game but if you're not good with horror be careful lol.54

Review for Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend (PSP):
I've only given the game 3 stars because of the poor controls. I've played thorough several levels and controlling Lara can be really hard, especially when swimming.
I can appreciate the other reviewers getting all excited about Lara Croft but the thing is do you really want to pay (...) on the PSP version just to look at Lara's **** on the bus?
Considering how good Syphon Filter Dark Mirror is, I really think Eidos could have done a better job.
Stick to a console version is my advice unless you really are a die hard fan or a voyeur.

Hard to control
Graphically the PSP version isn't as good as the Xbox version but from the little I've seen is on par with the PS2.I've only given the game 3 stars because of the poor controls. I've played thorough several levels and controlling Lara can be really hard, especially when swimming.

Review for Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception (PSP):
The story line isn't quite fab, but the flying is lots of fun. Although the missions are hard to start off with, even on the easy setting, you may find yourself in a too-late-to-correct nose dive.
You get used to the controls and the general physics laws of flying quite quickly.
The AI is very good in this game. Your targets know when they're under threat and respond as any jet-fighter would.
Some missions are quite challenging, especially as you're usually under a time limit. So finding targets that don't appear on your radar can be quite difficult.
All in all, their are many planes to unlock, many weapons and upgrades to unlock, good and sometimes lenghty missions, and good visual.

Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception
Unlike others who have played other titles from the Ace Combat series, I didn't really have any expectations, but I did want a good flying game for my PSP. It was either this one or Pilot Accademy (the only two flying games currently out on PSP), and I chose this one because it was more realistic and less arcade. The story line isn't quite fab, but the flying is lots of fun. dissapointing
As a athletics game fan i was looking forward to release of international athletics, but straight from the off you get a sense that its been thrown together in 5 minutes to get it out before the oylmpics. The graphics are pretty poor, the gameplay is dull, and some of the event are unrealistic (as an example, i beat the world record for the 110m hurdles on my first go....by a country mile as well!). One to avoid.
