Review for Intempo Digital RDI iPod Speaker Dock With Built In DAB:
Its ideal in everyway. Small enough to fit on a bedside table, big enough to be noticed. Slim and sexy maybe a better word.
Literally switch it on, plug in the i-pod, set the bass and treble to your liking and get ready to be amazed !!
Super easy to use and the remote works from quite a distance. The volume can go quite high and also sits at a nice volume if you have company and wanting some brackground noise.
DEFFINATLEY worth the money !!

The bad: If the mains unit is switched on, with an Ipod Touch, the background noise makes the speakers impossible to enjoy.

No Video on Ipod Classic 160GB but GREAT sound!!
No video output on a 160GB Classic but the sound these speakers kick out is fantatstic - great high/mid and bass. Fully recommend them. I used to have a Bose wavestation and these are every bit as good. No distortion even when turned up loud.6
Review for Portable Folding Speakers for Ipods & mp3 players - white:
At first all was fine - they were enjoyable enough. However, they broke after just 2 weeks. The batteries didn't run flat (I tested them in other devices) - the item just died and I couldn't make it work. I tried using an AC adaptor - and it still wasn't functioning.
I took it back to the shop and they happily gave me a replacement.
The second one had a strange buzzing and static sound, couldn't get any songs whatsoever to play through it.
I took it back and tried (Heaven help me) a third time.
It had no output whatsoever, so I had a full refund.
I haven't lost any money, but I was disappointed and totally hacked off with the frustration and shoddy quality of it all.
If you want some decent iPod speakers, these are not the ones for you.
Avoid at all costs.

Not for everyone
I'm returning these things today. I listen mainly to ambient and downbeat sounds that are reasonably bottom-heavy. The tiny drivers just cant cut it... Hip-hop was just as disappointing. On the other hand, I played guitar based stuff and yeah, I can understand why some people who like that kind of music want to boof these speakers. Just be aware, they are not for everyone. I have a set from Maplin which, though not nearly as sturdy, pretty, or clean on the mid to top, handles the bass much more capably in my tiny bedroom. Also, whats the go with that little dance people do when they want to get out from the back of a full elevator?? Thats wierd.

Review for GEAR4 HouseParty 3 Speaker Dock for iPod in Black:
It is probably the best all-round ipod speaker I have ever owned; value for money plays its part when you consider that it performs like a £100 unit and I think it used to sell for £80 less than a year ago.
The only thing that it's missing is the power by battery capability but then again how hard is to use the extension cable when in the Garden... come on the summer!

Review for Kensington FX300 Speaker to go:
My main issue is it's far too quiet I bought it for listening to in the park and at festivals with friends, but the area where the music is audible is so small (<1 meter from the speaker) I may as well wear headphones as I'm the only one who can hear it.
Also the sound quality is far from great, bass in pretty much non existant, I wasn't expecting that to be great but I hoped it would be a lot better than this.
Playtime seems to be about 7 hours on two duracell aaa batteries playing at maximum volume (trust me you'll never turn it lower than the max) which seems pretty good to me.
The case seems pretty tough and survived mud smears and splashes of rain at Glastonbury, it kept playing and protected my player well, the mud wiped off easily with a damp cloth and left no damage. Unfortunatly the volume control feels pretty flimsy, it sticks out from the body somehwhat and wobbles quite a bit, it's still attached at the moment but I wouldn't be surprised if it fell off.
Overall I think this speaker is only good as an expensive and over large case for a player, look elsewhere for decent sound and volume.

Review for Logitech X-230 Multimedia Speaker System - 32 Watt (Total) (2.1):
For the price of £25 they truly are a bargain, but without the bargain sound.
The bass is hard and goes right through the whole house if you have the sub on full whack! The mid tones and treble are crisp and clear, and I could hear no distortion even on full volume.
Add to this the fact that I'm using a very old computer (6yrs!!!) with its built in sound card, I would have to say you won't get a better sounding set of speakers for even double the price.
The speakers look the part too, and are very well made - and don't worry about the sub, as this can easily be hidden somewhere on the floor.
I can't recommend these highly enough - BUY THEM!!!

Very good
Brought this recently and i must say it is very very good, 505w RMS!! Cant go wrong....The build quality is excellent and the sound clarity is second to none! As previosuly mentioned there are a few things to be wary of. Firstly as stated by another user, the remote interfers with my TV and vice versa, this is annoying to say the least. The other is the size of the sub....it is massive and finding somewhere to put it is a struggle, make sure you have space before buying. There is also only one optical input which is a step down from earlier models. The other thing i noticed is the shear size of the decoder, it is bigger than the speakers! Make sure you buy a good length optical cable otherwise you will struggle to find a place to put the decoder. But if you want a quality system at a good price you cant go wrong with this!16
Review for Sony Ericsson MPS-70 Portable Speakers:
They come in a hardy clear plastic carry box that's about the size of a small spectacle case, are light and easily portable, and materials used, build quality etc are top notch.
You get brilliant sound quality with decent aural range out of them, amazingly they don't use batteries, instead drawing their juice from the phone. The wiring also serves as the antenna for your phone's radio, and reception is really clear. Volume is decent, but not having their own power supply does mean their sound level does top out at a satisfactory, rather than spectacular level. Still, perfect for overnights in hotel rooms. It's great to travel light with only 3 items for short trips - phone, charger, and speakers - rather than phone & charger, psp & charger, sound dock and batteries.
Highly recommended: when these arrived in the office and I tried them out, three of my colleagues with SE phones were so impressed with the sound quality and simplicity of them that they promptly went online and bought them too.

Very Strongly Recommended!
I'm thrilled by these speakers which have owned now for over six months. They are great to travel with (and fold flat to approximately the size of a tall paperback book) but I'm so attached to them I use them at home too.The sound quality is uncoloured, and the lower frequencies amazingly present and warm for such a small unit. I was so impressed that I looked up"Maxx Bass" technology on the net - I've always imagined such things to be just a crude boost to low frequencies but this is something much cleverer and aesthetically vastly more impressive: the overall impression of the sound is very natural. There is as much volume available as anyone could reasonably expect from a unit of this size. Connection is via a choice of the internally retractable 3.5mm lead or via a second 3.5mm line-in socket (3.5mm is the standard Walkman / iPod headphone connector size). I use the internal lead to connect to the headphone output of my Creative Zen Vision:M and get the best sound, to my delight, with the player EQ off. If you turn the player to absolutely maximum volume it distorts the input, and line level signals do the same, but up to about 90% headphone output level sounds gorgeous.A set of four of my own AA NiMH rechargeable batteries will run this unit for hours (likely due to the unusual and efficient 'Class D' amplifier design), and the included mains adaptor is very lightweight to travel with.Any system such as this suffers from technical limitations: it can't possibly offer the power, frequency response or freedom from distortion of a hi-fi system. However this system offers by far the best subjective experience of any comparable lightweight portable system I've come across (I auditioned a bunch of them before buying). I'm getting used to amazed reactions from friends as to how great these little speakers sound. Want to amaze YOUR friends? These are worth a try...19
Review for Logitech X-540 Multimedia Speaker System (5.1):
My Brother has the x-530 speakers (these are the x-540 and the newer model) and I would reccomend spending the extra money to get this model. The x-530 speakers are covered by material, which rips. The x-540 speakers have a metal grill instead.
The sound quality is very very good and the matrix mode spreads the sound well to make films seem more realistic and around you.
The bass is good for just playing music loud and overall I would say that these speakers rival upper brands, such as the Bose speakers my dad has.
Overall, I would reccommend these speakers.

Review for Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere Speaker Dock - Black:
For a budget, travel speaker set, the Logitech is great. It packs neatly into it's case, comes with UK & US travel adapters, lasts ages on a charge and given it's price, you're not going to mind if it takes the odd knock.
Sounds is average, it certainly has no real depth of bass and they distort at high volumes. If you keep the volume in the mid-range, they're fine, but if a bass heavy / loud track comes on, be prepared to reach for the volume control to turn 'em down!
Don't get me wrong I'm glad I've bought them, because at this price, they are a good bit of kit. I'll use them in the garden / garage / on holiday and if an airline bagage handler dents them, then it's no big deal.
If you're looking for a speaker set for your home that you can crank up at parties, this isn't the set for you. The Bose SoundDock is fantastic in that situation and gives great sound all night long and you won't need to turn them down to avoid distortion. Ultimately, I'd go for a B&W Zepplin, but like I say, that's not a fair comparisson as they're hardly portable and cost a fortune.
Essentially, if you're looking for a portable budget set of speakers, these are worth every penny, but don't think you're going to wake the neighbours with your disco tunes!

Good For Size, But No Bose / B&W Competitor
I've been considering buying a sound dock for a while and have read loads of reviews. A few people compare this to Bose's SoundDock and say it's better, but I can't see how. I've listened to the Bose dock and it's sound is superior in every possible way. The only difference is, the cost. For a budget, travel speaker set, the Logitech is great. It packs neatly into it's case, comes with UK & US travel adapters, lasts ages on a charge and given it's price, you're not going to mind if it takes the odd knock.

POOR VOLUME
I am very pleased overall with the speakers - they charge easily and are easy to use. unfortunately the volume buttons are hard to use as they are touch sensative so you have to continuoulsy tap them. also the volume at its loudest is very low! eveybody says its good but it didnt go very loud at all!Good buy though, reccomended
