Cheap, cheerful, effective - well it was when I bought it but the price has gone up or others come down!!

It seems a bit of a bizarre concept, for some reason, writing a review of a steamer (loved the cliff-hanger plot, engaging cast of characters, etc!) but there you go. As my first and only electric steamer I have nothing to compare it to, and bought it purely on price, as I thought ' a steamer is a steamer is a steamer'

And it is! I'm very pleased with it, it functions splendidly, my only minor cavil is it can be a little fiddly clipping and unclipping the bases in each tier, when washing it - but for all I know all other steamers may be the same - and I certainly don't feel that this very minor inconvenience would be worth spending around £20 more on the cost of a steamer - I note many others are much more expensive.

This has 3 generously sized tiers and a rice steamer, which was absolutely what I wanted.

OK, back to the kitchen to steam some lunch!

It would be soooooo helpful if there was more information ahout each product, I would have bought more items if I had more detail. A larger image of a large item is hardly of any help! I had to give it one star to get the review printed, but I give it no stars!
