Best thing I have bought so far!

This pillow has given me the best night's sleep since I became pregnant. At first I thought it was a bit expensive but well worth the money - would recomend it to all pregnant women.

Fantastic buy for new baby

My daughter received this as a Christmas gift when she was ten weeks old. For a few weeks, the lovely giraffe kept her occupied by hanging from her activity arch/car seat/anywhere else he could fasten and she never tired of him! Now, at getting on for four months old, she takes him everywhere with her! He's the perfect size for little hands and I can see him becoming a long-time favourite with our little one.

As always, LaMaze has come up with a winner in terms of colour and noise. i would highly recommend this (and others in the range) as very affordable and parent-pleasing gifts.

Brilliantly simple, simply brilliant

My daughter started playing this when she was 6 and a year later she is now learning the finer points of the game. She enjoys it just as much as her grandfather does. A great, non-gimmicky game.

Best ever Xmas present - so far

I bought this for my granddaughter aged 7. She loves it! I wouldn't have paid full price for it because the card is flimsy, the build is not secure and it's a real pain to move once constructed but for the amount I paid (£12.99) it's excellent value. My granddaughter went back to it time and time again on Christmas Day. I'm glad I also bought figures for her otherwise it would have been a bit of a non-event, it should have included at least one figure for best value. Loved the sound effects.

Timeless Classic!

Connect4 is a brilliant game and can be played by all ages. I`m 34 years old and still enjoy playing it now and again with friends over a bottle of wine.

Favourite puzzle for my 2 year old

My 2 year old daughter LOVES this puzzle. After the first few times with us helping she has quickly learned where all the pieces go and will do it over and over again. The large pieces are very sturdy and withstand being walked over and trodden on.

do not buy!

this product has very loud plastic wheels(bronken within a week) very bad bearings, way too small and nowhere near the weight of what it says. my advice is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR if something is too good to be true... it probably is.

ONE OF THE BEST TOYS THIS YEAR!

Iggle Piggle: sings, talks, recognises his blanket,dances and keeps your little one entertained for hours! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I agree that the price is a little expensive but Talking Iggle Piggle really is one of the best toys made this year (especially with all the recalls at the moment!) A GREAT BUY!

A must for any parent!

My daughter loves her Thomas Ready Bed. She is quite tall so her travel cot soon became too small and restrictive. We bought this for her at 18 months old and she loves it. She is now 3 1/2 and we recently took her camping. We had bought her just an inflatable mattress and sleeping bag and she kept sliding off the mattress onto the ground. Fortunately I had also taken her Ready Bed so we put her in this instead. Because of the raised sides and the fact the sleeping bag part is attached to the mattress she stayed in it and was lovely warm.

We have family that live 200 miles away from us so this bed is used on a regular basis and I must say it washes very well and still looks brand new.

The pump is great fun as my daughter even pumps up her own Ready Bed and it is great for deflating too.

The carry bag is good too and it isn't difficult to pack away the bed and pump.

I would recommend this to any parent and the only negative thing about it is that my daughter doesn't want to get out of her bed!

great idea badly done

i would agree with the comments above. It is great for the kids and extremely well thought out. The strap however (as per DD) is very weak and really lets it down. the stitching is poor - we have returned ours also, and just got a new one -you can see that the strap is not great again so i think if you dont mind doing some industrial strength extra stitched this could be the best thing you ever bought

Not So Durable

Absolute nightmare to keep clean, completely agree with the other 2 reviewers who have pointed out that it will be ruined if cant guarantee your toddler will no eat ANYTHING near it and will only use the pen on the mat.

Had it less than a month and its ruined had the same problem with the juice cup as the other reviewer pointed out once they know its water they will try in use their cups to make it all turn blue

Master Chief

First of all I have to say that this is an amazing toy! Looks magnificent and can do more moves than I. :D But... I had a problem after I opened it. Unfortunately I have to say that the right hand of the great Master Chief is NOT movable. Because how NOT CLEVER is that all the parts are highly movable but the right hand stuck... Shame on the manufacturer!Why am I saying this small thing? Because I accidentaly 'broke' it while I thied to put the gun in it... :( Otherwise fast shipping and again, its Master Chief! :D

A timeless classic!

Twister is a game of physical skill, invented by Neil W. Rabens and Charles F. Foley in 1969.

The game includes a 167cm by 135cm plastic sheet covered with 6 blue, 6 green, 6 red and 6 yellow circles, which is layed on the floor. The game also includes a spinner, mounted onto a board that's divided into quarters. Each quater says either left foot, right foot, left hand, or right hand.

To play: After the spinner's been spun, a combination is called out {E.G. left foot - green} and players must move their hand or foot to that circle. Due to the limited number of coloured circles, players will often be required to put themselves in uncomfortable and unbalanced positions, which eventually results in someone's fall. No 2 players can share a circle (rules are different for more people) and the game is best played with socks being worn by all players.
Any amount of people can play Twister, but you always need someone to spin the spinner.
I gave Twister a 4 star durability rating because the spinner comes of the board a bit too easily and I gave it a 1 star educational rating, because the only thing you learn from it is how flexible you are!

Utterly fabulous!

Simple, smart and very entertaining

If you're wondering whether you'd enjoy this game: It's like a cross between Monopoly and Risk, with about the same level of complexity, and with all the benefits of both and none of the drawbacks.

It has enough random elements to make it exciting (dice, cards and board-setup), but without making it arbitrary - which seems to be a failing of Monopoly. This means you can have a good or a bad few turns, but a good strategy will make all the difference over time.

The bartering of resources with other players is a key component of the game, and again it's possible for a good mercantile thinker to turn this to their advantage. It's fascinating - and amusing - to see the market swing in two turns from"All I've got is 4 Wood" to"I'll give anyone any 3 resources for a bit of WOOD!!!"

The combination of short-term goals and long-term strategies give it that Risk-like feeling of rewarding achievements, but without the aggressive style of play. There is no attacking or defending per-se - you just have to out-grow the other settlers. You can only really win by being a more successful cooperator than the other players!

As others have said, you never feel that the game's over until the last turn. Unlike Risk, Monopoly or most of the other conquest games, everybody's in with a fighting chance until the very end...

All in all, this is a beautifully well-rounded game. It's simple enough for anyone except very young children to pick it up and have a go, but balanced and dynamic enough for the more demanding gamer to get stuck-in. I've seen game-fanatics and"toys are for little people" snobs get just as caught up in the same game, and there have been many genuinely funny moments.
It's quite simply the perfect"get a couple of friends over for a bottle of wine" game. Heartily recommended.

Very good fun for little girls

This board game is fantastic fun for any little girl who loves princesses. I can only say that since this game arrived three days ago my little 6 year old princess has asked to play it 5 or 6 times and that is a first. Normally she is bored by board games.

this toy is very good it comes with two slider discs and you can get more with the toys and it has a removeabile strap if its too small it fits me on the last hole it fits 5 discs(and you can see the discs in the watch unlsss you have it up side down or something stupid like that)

Why write a review when you don't know what you're writing it for?

I have to leap to the defence of Top Trumps after the reviewer who gave it 1 star has had their say. They have obviously got no idea what the game is all about and I consider it most unhelpful of them to then give the game a 1 star review. Top Trumps has largely been responsible for teaching my reluctant reader son how to read, and I'm sure there are many other children out there who are now engaging in reading thanks to these cards. The knowledge they impart about the topic they are covering is an added bonus too. My son (5) has enjoyed playing with his friends, dad (40) and grandpa (70), so I would also add that it's a game for all ages.

For those who aren't familiar with the game, split the pack between you and a friend(s), play the cards in order, choose your category and try and beat your oponents with your score. If you win take their card, if you lose you have to hand yours over until someone has won them all. Simple and fun.
