The Le Creuset Multimat is a superbly versatile item
making it one of the better multi-tasking kitchen tools available.It is a ridged circular heat resistant silicone mat of approx 8" / 20.5 cm diameter which is also dishwasher safe.
As per the manufacturer's details, its purpose is four-fold:-
a) Use instead of a trivet for stable kitchen surface heat
protection.
b) Use under a chopping board or a mixing bowl as an
