"You underestimate my power!"

Hasbro kick off their first releases of 2008's Complete Saga collection with a wave of figures from Episode 3: Revenge Of The Sith. The next figure in the line is #02: Darth Vader, Mustafar Duel
This figure is a definite improvement over the previous releases.
Hasbro have gone a stage further with figure creation this year and have added extra joints and movements to their figures for even greater poseability.
Darth Vader has head (rotational and vertical), shoulder (rotational and abductional), elbow (rotational), wrist (rotational), torso (rotational and vertical), hip (rotational and abductional), knee (rotational and vertical) and ankle (rotational and vertical) joints giving him 24 movements of articulation. This makes it a great figure for those Mustafar duel dioramas, especially for those who purchased the Mustafar Final Duel playset in 2005.
He comes armed with his trusty blue lightsabre and there is a personalised figure stand which is the same design that we had in the 2006 The Saga Collection line.
An excellent figure and a must have for any collection.

Lego continue to celebrate Star Wars' 30th Anniversary with a much improved update of Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator.
Closer to the on-screen design, this release is a more colour correct and accurate than the previous issue from 1999.
The ship has several features including an opening rear hatch which allows Darth Maul, on his Sith Speeder, to get inside, 2 flick missiles - one in each wing, a sliding nose section to reveal the cargo hold and positionable wings for landing and flight.
The cargo hold contains 3 Sith probe droids, Darth Maul's trademark red double-bladed lightsabre and a pair of electrobinoculars.
The kit comprises 304 pieces (not including figure or accessories) and takes about 30 minutes to build. Available as a Lego Shop exclusive for £25 at the nearest branch to you. A great looking starship and a must have for all those Sith fans out there.

"Sir, we have engaged General Grievous' forces on Utapau!"

From Wave 1 of the 30th Anniversary Collection, the Airbourne Trooper is the last clone to be turned into a figure from the 212th Legion. This battle group is led by Commander Cody and were the team assigned to General Kenobi for the Utapau campaign in Revenge Of The Sith.
The figure is based on the highly poseable Clone Commander from the 2005 Evolutions box set and has masses of articulation.
He comes equipped with a helmet, heavy assault rifle and a shoulder pouch which contains a small blaster pistol.
A great figure and a must for all those army builders out there.

Anyone for death star football!!!

Agree completely with previous reviews. Ages 5+....yeah right, they may be when they start. A complete nightmare to put together, took us about an hour and a half, with a few words not suitable for younger ears being uttered along the way. Very annoying, nearly went into orbit round the christmas tree. Give me a rubic's cube any day. Avoid this toy if you can persuade the young ones.

Hasbro continue their releases of 2008's Complete Saga collection with a wave of figures devoted entirely to this year's new Star Wars computer game - The Force Unleashed. Figure #10 is an Imperial Jumptrooper.
Jumptroopers are specialised armoured Stormtroopers with jet packs which allow them to fly through the air in short bursts and attack ground targets with their rail detonator guns.
Hasbro have gone a stage further with figure creation this year and have added extra joints and movements to their figures for even greater poseability. The paint and detailing on the figure is excellent and several if these look very cool together.
The Jumptrooper has head (rotational and vertical - the rebreather tubes does come out of the chest plate), shoulder (rotational and abductional), elbow (rotational and vertical), wrist (rotational), torso (rotational), hip (rotational), knee (rotational and vertical) and ankle (rotational and vertical) joints giving him a massive 24 movements of articulation.
He comes equipped with a black rail detonator rifle which looks very much like an E-11 rifle and there is a personalised figure stand which is the same design that we had in the 2006 The Saga Collection line.
The only criticism of this figure I have is that it does not include the jet pack! For a Jumptrooper, this is kind of essential and considering the equipment included with other figures it seems strange to miss this out.
Each figure in this wave comes with one of four randomly packed cheat codes for The Force Unleashed game.
A great looking trooper and a must have for those dioramas.

A great toy for a small price

Well what a great item this is, i had a good half hou constructing this and it looks great.
Another good point about this is that it includes a clonetrooper which themsleves sell on auction sites for at least four quid!

Well worth the price.

Hasbro continue to celebrate their 30th Anniversary with their first batch of figures from the Clone Wars animated series. The second of the three is Jedi Master Yoda along with his trusty Kashyyyk steed, a Kybuck, which he received as a gift for saving the life of an ailing Wookie princess.
The figure is a much better version of Yoda than the previous Clone Wars release from 2003. The detailing on his face is very good and the little figure is quite poseable with head, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hip joints.
The Kybuck comes disassembled in the packet and has joints at the hips, shoulders and head. The detailing on the animal is also very good and there is a peg on the saddle that allows you to stand Yoda on its back. You have to lean the body of the Kybuck forward a fair bit to get it to balance though so be warned.
Yoda comes complete with his green lightsabre handle, a brown cloth cloak, a shoulder strap and a second lightsabre handle which fits into the pouch on the strap.
The set is complete with a silver collector's coin which goes in the album you get with #1: Darth Vader.
A great pair of figures and a must have for the Clone Wars collection.

Very cute, very collectible

This is a really nicely made collectible. Some of the Star Wars Mighty Muggs don't really work. But Boba Fett really fits the format nicely. The doll is fairly small, around 6", but has a lot of character. A 12" version would have been nice though. A really nice paint job makes up for a lack of any meaningful accessories. The biggest problem really though is once you have one, you're going to want more.
