Review for GRAMOPHONE WITH HORN/ SQUARE/ REPRODUCTION PHONOGRAPH:
Firstly, the gramophone was clearly sent out broken. The hinges were so rusted and stiff they could barely move at all and one of them was broken clean off the wood. Even if I had not been sent a broken one, the craftsmanship felt poor and its ability to play a record without damaging it was very doubtful. The soundbox and arm were wobbly, the needle looked like an old nail from grandpa's shed and I'm not ruling out the possibility that the horn was made from recycled cans
But it did look cool. The side of the box had the HMV dog and the words"his master's voice" ingraved on it. So if you want a piece of poo that doesn't play records for beans but still looks good, buy it by all means.
