Great value product

I have 2 of these cables, one for xbox 360 & one for a sony free view DVD recorder connected to Samsung 52" lcd tv.

The picture is perfect, i see no reason why you should spend any more money on a cable as it will not improve the picture quality.

I have had no issues with this product, the connections are sturdy and the cable has a quality look and feel.

The only thing that may be a problem is the length, this is not an issue for me as my dvd & xbox are on the tv stand shelf under the tv.

Great value for money

I wanted a bigger flat screen to replace my existing 21". This TV was at the top of the best sellers list and had very favourable reviews.
I ordered it one Thursday and safely received it on Friday in time for me to view the British GP, Wimbledon finals and the start of the Tour De France. (So a busy sport viewing weekend!)

It really only take a few minutes to unpack, fit the stand with four screws, plug in the 13 amp plug, connect the aerial, turn it on and a couple of minutes for the set to hunt for all of the channels and that was that.

Picture quality great and sound fine.

So great service from Amazon and I'm very happy.

Not delivered

Although I paid for express delivery,"Guaranteed by 1 pm on saturday", the tv wasn't delivered by CityLink and their web site says there wasn't anyone home. I was home waiting for the delivery and they didn't even leave a card in the mail box which tells me they didn't even try to deliver it.

User friendly and good bargain

I wall mounted my 40" sony KDL 40D 3500U (Bravia . LCD), without any problem. I bought a similar bracket from Argos for about 80 pounds but the screws wouldn,t fit into back of my tv, so returned it. the bracket which sony makes for this model is 200-250 pounds!
there was a good choice of screws etc. with this bracket and the supplied M5*30mm screws were compatible with this model of sony.I used though different rawl plugs as my wall is part plaster board and part cement blocks and the supplied plugs are for concrete wall (i have a feeling that the ones supplied would have been ok as well but as I am a perfectionist and too cautious, i bought plugs from B&Q, these were for use with both concrete and plaster board walls. I also fixed the plate to wall with 8 screws (rather than the 6 supplied). bought few more 6*75 coach screws from B&Q.
I would recommend fixing vertical bracket to the back of tv first. this gives you an idea as to where the tv will be on the wall when fitted to the plate and then you can choose the place for the plate accordingly. Even someone like me who is generally very apprehensive about DIY jobs was able to do it without any problems.
the only"drawback" as couple of reviewers pointed out before is that tv is a little proud on the wall, rather than flush with the wall. I find this useful because I can get access to the back of the tv e.g plugging in the antenna/power supply cable etc. and can get access for adjusting the tilt. Also I have wall cabinets on each side of tv space, so it looks fine. Absolutely brilliant at this price.

Cracking Sony TV!

I bought this TV for my Mum & Dad as theirs had broken. They and I think this TV is brilliant! It's really good value for money and we has the item delivered within 1 week which was great. I plugged my Xbox 360 into the TV to 'test out' the HD quality. It was fantastic! The picture quality was amazing. I can't wait to buy a blue-ray DVD player to watch films in High Definition. The sound quality is also very, very good.

I'd definately recommend this TV to anybody!

Sony Quality

As usual Sony deliver a high quality television that delivers excellence and is built to last!!
The television was delivered very efficiently by 'Amazon'(10/10 for service...thank you!) and was out of the box and (using auto set up) i was watching within minutes. This 20" model is perfect size for a dining room, Kitchen or Bedroom and small living rooms and can be used free standing or wall mounted.
I think most people know that you pay a little bit more for Sony products but they ARE a class apart in picture and sound quality and while other manufacturers i.e.'Samsung' have made in-roads into more cosmetically pleasing designs, they do not deliver the same picture or sound quality or the product life span....FACT!!
I would recommend SONY every time and the proof comes from the reviews that you will see listed on this and other models within the Bravia range.

Good connection

This cable is reassuringly chunky and robust and provides an excellent connection between two HDMI sockets.It is not a thin cable or easy to bend, so buy the length needed rather than trying to contort it to fit. An ideal way to connect a new generation games console to a HDTV at a very reasonable price from Amazon. Highly recommended.

High Quality, good value

Bought this for wall mounting my 42" plasma. Its really easy to fix on the wall, and is as good as all the expensive stuff I was told to buy when I was looking around for my TV.
The mounting itself feels very robust and secure, and the product comes with different types of screws for different types of TVs. There was an exact match for my Panasonic.
You can tilt the TV if required and this is simple to do - I tried different settings, but settled for no tilt. The last point is that this is not a flush mount, meaning theres a gap of approx 5-6 inches behind the TV. Worked very well for me because I did not want to embed the cables in the wall, and the HDMI cable would have been quite difficult to fit if the gap had been smaller.

Brilliant cable

If you do a quick search on google, you will find that HDMI cables are ALL the same. Thats right, an £80 cable, gives no better quality than a £5 cable.

This is because with HDMI cables, you either get a signal at 100% quality, or you get no singal at all, this is how it differs from analogue cables.

So dont bother with a more expensive cable, get this one!

A Top Sony Telly

I bought this TV recently for use in our bedroom and have been utterly delighted with it. The size is ideal for my room, though in a room much larger (mine's about 17' by 15') you may want a slightly larger screen. Setup was really simple & even though we have fairly weak digital TV signal in our area, the Sony has locked on really well & we get consistently great pictures.

Picture quality is right up there with the best TVs I've seen, and the the sound is just great too. Our old CRT screen had speakers fitted at the sides, pointing left & right - this SONY has them just below the main screen which means the sound is projected towards you & you don't need to have it lound to hear clearly. Overall sound quality is fine for a bedroom TV - everything from News to music shows sound great.

I was a little concerned about the silver colour, but it's really quite discreet - to my eyes at least!

Buy with confidence - this is a great product.

A Fantastic package

This television offers me everything I was looking for .. and more!

Apart from the beautiful FULL HD display and the bright 30000:1 contrast ratio, it has some other features such as PIP and a powerful built in Freeview receiver.

The icing on the cake was the Wiselink USB port which allows me to directly connect my camera and usb stick to access music and mp3z.

Amazon's PRIME delivery was excellent - I got my tv within a day. I ordered on Friday at 2pm and it was delivered to me next morning at 7am!

Great Value

Just recived this 15.4 Polaroid TV, first thing I noticed on taking out of the box was the great build quality of an item of this low price. Also included is a bag of several interconnects for connecting DVD etc which is an added bonus. Freeview seams to work very well on the TV, great menu system and the remote is well designed as well. Great TV for the kitchen being white. Most please with purchase and service from Amazon.

I've just bought 2!

Having spoken to a variety of salesmen I quickly realised that when buying Plasma TVs the majority of the time your paying for brands.

This model of TV has the greatest picture contrast available (as far as I am aware) at 20,000 to 1. And I was so impressed with it's credentials that I bought 2 of them. Since living with the TV I am impressed with both the picture and the sound and am yet to find fault with it.

One salesman informed me that it will not view Blu-Ray DVDs to their potential... but I can live with that!

It may look pricey, but it's worth EVERY penny!

This remote is fantastic. Most of the reviews state that the set up time is lengthy, and i fully agree with this. It took me an hour to set up 9 pieces of equipment and tailor the buttons to suit my needs, but it is such as great bit of kit when up and running.
With one button press it will turn on my TV, Satellite and Surround Sound, put the tv on the correct AV input, then turn down the TV so that it doesn't interfere with the surround speakers. This used to take three remotes (which were often going missing). It looks and feels great and the charging dock is really good quality. Get one!

This is an absolutely superb tv stand!

It came in 4 days even though i used super saver delivery!

anyway, the packaging was superb, no scratches or chips at all.

the stand look great and supoty my tv and 360 perfectly.

it was easy to set up, took only 15 mins. The package IS heavy by the way, so if you're taking it upstairs its better if two people lift it.

NOTE: the screws are already inside the joins, so dont freak out if you don't see a packet or screws!

the cable tidy is useful also.

all round, an absolutely superb tv stand, and great service aswell.

i'd say that this is better than some £200 tv stands out there!

Only worth the penny charged

A gold scart lead for one penny? You must be joking of course. But, going by the tech specs and the only review I thought it might be worth a try. After all, they can't advertise one product and sell another can they? Oh yes they can. I ordered from CDL Micro- perfectly efficient service as far as delivery was concerned, but the lead is worthy only of a Christmas cracker, being of poor quality and weighing in at a flimsy 150g rather than the stated 295g. There is no brand name or any other identifying mark (who would want to admit to making this?) and if I were Hama, I'd be concerned that their reputation is being rubbished. The annoying thing is, the company profits by bumping up the postage (more than double the stated rate) so there's little point sending back for a refund! It's a bit of a scam as regards 'trade descriptions' but I guess I got what I paid for. But then, if I'd known, I'd not have ordered it in the first place....hmmmm.
