i think timmy walker's review on the washing up bowl is all lies. this product is amazingly good...i washed my dog, myself and my motorbike in the same bowl...and then washed my dishes afterwards in the same water (i am tring to save our beloved planet). i am going to the moon now so am leaving the bowl behind. see my ad on used and new :) or go to my porch and take for free...keys under the plant pot so leave money on my kitchen worktop. ps...dont steal my dog or motorbike...feed him...FEED HIM! i wish they did this in blue30

Tough, durable and dead gorgeous!
Typhoon know their stuff and make gorgeous kitchenware, although some are better than others. These are heavy and tough and I reckon they will last for years. I have not had any problems with any of my Typhoon storage items and my friends always comment on them. The choice of colours are superb and the enamel is tough enough not to chip when you knock them. I know they are relatively expensive but I feel they are worth every penny.31

good idea in priciple, not in practice
I splashed out on this thinking the self cleaning thing was great and good grips have a good reputation. same problems of having to take the handles off when washing to stop stagnent dish water leaking into the cutlery drawer. most of the garlic squished around the press head rather than pushed through the holes and after a few washes (not even in a dishwasher so hand hot) the hot water distorted the shape of the red clening attachment so it didn't fit on. I went back to my trusty wilkinsons own brand cheapo one. this is not worth the money.35

An unusual talking point
Got this for my boyfriend and I'm sure he will love it. Being refillable is obvious but good, and it looks cool.The lighting mechanism is a little stiff, but fully working. Feels like plastic, doesn't even look aluminium
I got this item expecting it to at least look aluminium. It didn't. It feels so cheap and like plastic, and the paint on it is more like powder. It looks totally different than the picture.
