Best value for money digital recorder I have seen. It's light weight makes it easy to carry around, and the sound quality is all you could ask for. It is also robust enough to survive less than delicate handling. However, this is not an instrument for those with large or clumsy fingers: the buttons, especially the erase button, are recessed and not particularly easy to use. I bought my Icd-B300 from Amazon well over a year ago, and battery life is so impressive that I have not yet seen the need to buy rechargeables. The fact that it still features on this site must be a credit to its performance.91

I was hoping to use this device to replace my analogue portable tape recorder and digital camerea in one go. However, while this is great for taking notes when on the move (memos, lectures, meetings), the lack of voice and image quality means that you cannot record much of lasting value. Was I expecting too much for under £100?

Good value lots of features and easy to use
Very clever piece of kit. The first time I used it the recognition rate was fantastic, it's supplied with Dragon version 9, which appears to the professional version of this wonderful software.It's like having your own P.A - shame it doesn't make the coffee and do the filing.
