Back to 1990

Really do not enjoy this dinosaur game. No intuitive interface, and the actual sports are no fun either. Game does not offer you a lot of possibilities, can not even change my name. Also, after each event you have an annoying 4 seconds wait to see where your score would be in the worldwide leadbord. If you like pressing two buttons after each other like a madman, than this would be a game for you.

HATED the First 2 hours or so......easily the best gme I have played for a loooong time

I will agree with some of the bits that people have written....

I found the first 2 hours to be awful (at the time). However, I have a Wii and you get that with every Wii game that's not minigames or cutesy.

The push-button thing is nasty, BUT you don't lose or go back 3 hours if you fail - it starts the sequence again, untl you get it. Tomb Raider has used this technique hugely and it's somewhat loved :)

The Storyline: Spanking

The problem is that it takes a few hours to get control of the whole team personally (you can possess them, as you're already dead), and then further to get to use their full powers. Once you get all that, it has the most amazing gameplay - it may be linear in method, BUT you have so many options it's unreal. It really is incredible and has so much more than any FPS I've played. When you're paralysing monsters with Blood Magic, then using a fire demon while they're like that to eat one, slowing time with another character, then slicing them up with a Katana....sweet.

Like Gears of War, the squad often gets taken down two seperate paths and the story is actually very mature. I love it, and for the price it's the best thing you can buy....just play through the first bits and learn the talents - some of them you don't realise until you read the book, so look. If they gave every character and every power immediately, it would be impossible to play, so it's done to help the player. Play it!!

Oh yes...the gun thing...it takes a bit to take monsters down, but combining the squads' powers and weapons sort things out damn quickly - you can maul things later. There are big dudes to kill, and they are ALWAYS killable, just a bit difficult. The BAD level is the German pill boxes near the beginning, but use COle to slow time and it's easy - if you don't look and see her powers, it's controller-tantrum time....

What have they done?!

Probably the worst of the C&C games. I honestly don't know why they went for the cell-shaded look.
The unit scaling has gone out the window entirely!
I will not be buying this!

Brilliant

FEAR Files is a brilliant follow on to the main game.

Two really good stories (campaigns) matching the intensity of the main game.
If you liked FEAR you will love this ....

Unbelievebaly horrendous!

First person shooter is the only range of games i play (although i game a bit on Fifa and NFS aswell), and indeed, i've played every single one of them including all the Medal of Honor games. now, to be brutaly honest, this was the worst MOH game i have EVER played and i'm desperatly dissapointed! this game doesn't stand a chance if you compare it to other next generation games such as RSV:2 or CoD4. everything about this game is crap! the gameplay just doesn't work as there are millions and millions of germans, and throughout the game, you are basically fighting on your own. the enemy AI just don't stop coming and the only way you can finish the mission is not but killing the enemy, but by trying to just run as quick as you can to the checkpoint! the sound and graphics are not very good either and can be very very annoying! the storyline?!! hehe! unfortunately there is no such thing in this game, nor there is any character development as you progress! you don't even get to know who you really are, which is not something that would happen in a classic MOH. you die very quickly and oh my god!! im gonna smash the disk now! everytime you die, you have start the WHOLE MISSION all over again!! can you believe that?!! i strongly recomend you, DO NOT buy this game. wait for brothers in arms: hell's highway and buy that instead!

GREAT GAME.

This game is great, it provides entertaiment each and every time you play it which is something i have done constantly. Its only flaw is that its campaign is short however that doesn't stop me playing the game over and over. This is a certain buy if you want to be entertained.

boooo!

there were alot of bugs in the game. Whilst im a fan of the simpsons this game is clearly nothing more than a rental. Its short and i really dont see the point of the city, there arent any cars, and its mostly empty, they simply included it to prolong the replay value. You can finish it in a weekend :)

Put your foot down

This is the first PGR to hit the 360 so its a bit dated now. Hwever, the graphics and sound are very good.

There are plenty of supercars to race and plenty tracks to race on. Most are street circuits. There are difficulty levels to suit everyone and plenty of racing options. The LIVE service is still populated with regular racers. The game includes several variants of the Nordschlieffe and racing around Las Vagas is very pretty. There are some devilish corners in some of the tracks though.

Criticisms? The menu is cumbersome and whilst there is good use of shading, some are like a solar eclipse making it difficult to see where you are going.

This is still a very good choice for racers with plenty medals to be won.

dissapointed

i got this game thinking it was going to be good. But i was dissapointed
i mean the graphics are ok and the driving is ok. but there isnt enough to do on it very dissapointed with this and i hav to say i have only played on it a few tims since buying as it is very boring.

Far too expensive

Having bought a 500GB hard drive for my ps3 for only £70 I think MS are taking the mick charging people £90 for a hard drive with less than a quarter of the space, so I would not recommend buying this until they are reduced to a more reasonable price, as I was looking to upgrade my xbox360 as you can now save games to hard drive until I saw the price of this.

But if your a die hard xbox360 fan then this is the best space and price your going to get for now. (unless you void warranty and take apart the plastic drive on your 360 and insert a new drive from within, but im not going to say how to do that and if you do, buy a back up cheap 20gb drive incase it needs to go back for its weekly/monthly/annual repairs as your warranty will be fine with a normal hard drive).

Efficient

Lets you back up all your saved games easily and you can transfer your profile to it when you go round a friends house. It seems expensive for a memory card when you can get a new game for around this price but if you think about it, only a few years ago we had to spend about £20 for an official sony memory card for PS2 that was 8MB, this 512MB xbox 360 memory unit is £30. Actually that still sounds expensive. Anyway if you need a memory unit then buy it, if you don't then buy a new game.

Mass effect is like a film

Ok this game isn`t for people who just like shoot`em ups, there is a great story here and you do have to do a lot of talking to people. Graphically this game is fantastic and is like a movie at times especially on a 42" plasma. I haven`t suffered that much with the game freezing and slow down. The story in this game is that good that i really think someone could either make a film from it or even a series preferably a series. If you have the patience then you will enjoy it.

WOW

Hi when i first was told about this game i was not lookin forward to it coz of the fact that it is with DC but when i got it today i was hooked the fighting is so much better and free fall and close combat makes it more fun to play... also playing as the DC ppl r great as well you kind of forget its batman and superman.. its just like using a mk fighter. also fatalities r still good the only thing is only a little less blood... so this game is worth buying 5/5

Awesome!

I have been lucky enough to see this game in action before it is even released, and goodness does this game look promising.
I was a little hesitant as to how good this game would actually be. All I can say to you is, don't make that mistake! Superb graphics, great controls, action packed gameplay. Highly addictive.
If you like Sonic, buy this game.
If you don't like Sonic, buy this game!

You will not be disapointed.

O_o Wtf is this?!?!

They can't really call this a game can they? Using cheap, lanky, poorley designed cartoon characters, no commentator like the old games with a headache inducing soundtrack. Why fix something that's not broken eh? If you liked the old games.... you won't like this.

The game I've Been Waiting For

It's been a long time since the heady days of ESPN Football 2k5, and Madden has lagged since that great game, especially on the xbox 360. However now Madden has retaken its throne as the best NFL game ever.

For one thing we have real commentary, which for some stupid reason has been omitted in previous 360 incarnations. The commentary is both atmospheric and great at teaching you some of the subtleties of the game.

Next the graphics seem to have improved drastically. Different famous NFL players actually look different in this game. Also there is some sweet animation at the beginning of each game which shows the outside of the stadium, which again adds tons of atmosphere.

You can finally have all 11 of your players be displayed as weapons, which is great if you spend your time grinding through mini-games to improve your players; as you will see them on the pitch.

There are a few small points to nit-pick, but there is no point, because overall this game is great. If you are a series fan: buy it!

And last but not least, Raiders for the Superbowl!!!

Great game

Play as a stuntman doing great stunts for movies its amazing.
The Graphics are brilliant - I love the way the roads sparkles so realisticlly! I love the easy gameplay and the way the cars and motorbikes turn easily at the flick of a button!
Its a brilliant game, and I recommend it to anyone.
I love it!

Absolutely Rubbish

I purchased this product hopeing it would improve the picture quality of my component cable. To be honest there was nothing wrong with the component, the picture was clear, sharp and the colours were vibrant. THIS cable however made the picture quality plumet completely. The screen had a dull shadow of grey coating it and the small details like edges of straight lines were all fuzzy, clearly visable from my seat around 2 meters away. Also it made the screen a fraction smaller and made everything seem more streched.

Take my advice, if you want something as good as HDMI, get or stick with compenent cables. In my own opinion, compenent is just as a good as HDMI. My friend has the eilte, on the same sized tv as mine and I could see absolutley NO DIFFERENCE whatsoever.
So don't waste your money on this rubbish.
