Review for Joytech Xbox Digital AV Cable:
My main reason for buying this was to hook up my Xbox's sound to my Dolby Digital receiver, this cable did the job very well. However, you do need to enable some options in the Xbox dash to make use of your new found digital capabilities.
This cable will also provide a 5.1 digital mix in XBMC which makes audio playback incredibly rich. Coupled with RGB picture, your XBMC will have a new lease of life.

Review for True Crime: New York City (Xbox):
For a start, if your a fan of the genre, then dont go expecting a polish on par with perhaps the GTA series. Although the game looks great on the whole, it is prone to sudden and aggravating flaws. for example, sometimes while driving, the HUD and all other on screen items will vanish, leaving you blind, as well as the road often has a freak out with textures in this time. Also, there is common loss of sound effects which requires leaving and re-entering the vehicle. I wasnt too sure about the NPC actions either. I hate to keep reffering to GTA, but as fans will know, the NPC’s would walk, sit, chat and do various other actions, in TCNY, the NPCs do walk and run, but ther actions seem limited to swearing and repeating other annoying phrases over and over, Conversations between 2 NPCs are rare and are often the same. All they really do is bump into each other (which results in swearing 24/7 when in some crowded areas) and get in the way of bullets, basically.
If you think im trying to stop you buying then please dont, it is a great game and fans will undoubtably love it. It would be a fantastic game if they worked on thier transitions (e.g sunny to rainy) which is basically a split second lighting and graphical change, and made the whole city a bit more interactive.
It sounds like im picking holes, but im not, great game, 4/5.

Good game...but buggy
After the shocking dissapointment that was TC streets of LA i was pleased to learn that luxoflux had taken a more serious approach to TCNY. All credit to them, they did a great job. A fully breathing city which responds and changes to your actions, good storyline and gameplay, however some of the random bugs are just annoying. For a start, if your a fan of the genre, then dont go expecting a polish on par with perhaps the GTA series. Review for Vexx (Xbox):
There are so many clever ideas that it is a real pity it has been made so hard a game to succeed at. It is the same type of game as Maximo on the PS2 but that was nowhere near as hard as this. It gave you a chance in all areas. The first area in Vexx is as hard as the last in Maximo and I can see many frustrated gamers and many broken controllers due to this.
The games makers don't have to do this with their games. Make them challenging (I do want to be challenged) but this was just too much and in the first area too. What ever must the last be like? We were warned in one of the XBox magazines but I didn't think it would be as hard as it really is. I'm afraid I think the makers have shot themselves in the foot with this one. Great idea, too damn hard. Make the games fun lads. There's enough stress in life. We play games to relieve ourselves of it, not get more.

Vexx causes vexation
This is a delightful game to look at, being beautifully drawn and shaded but that is about all it has to offer in the name of fun (do these games makers forget a game is supposed to be fun). The camera angles are not conducive to good game playing and it is far too hard from the start to be pleasant. Most games let you build up to the frustratingly hard but this has at least four wraithearts (what you need to collect to enter other areas) in the first area that cause real frustration and that are so hard to find and collect that the pleasure aspect goes out of the window almost as soon as it goes in the console. There are so many clever ideas that it is a real pity it has been made so hard a game to succeed at. Review for Colin McRae Rally 2005 (Xbox):
1: Biggest tell tale sign it doesn't take much skill to drive is that i was still just as quick after several pints of beer!!
2: I don't know if this is because the control of the cars is better or they have made it easier but either way it is easier than CM04 ( try the long straight australian track in a group b at 120mph on 04 then compare to 05)
3: Very annoying if you cut some corners( i dont mean big cuts, i'm talking putting a bumper over the verge) then it says your going the wrong way and after 30 secs when you've gone further on down the track your reset
4: The is a strange fealing when going around some corners, in particularly when cutting that the car is getting push back on to the track, this is very weird and takes away a feeling of freedom/realism??
On the plus side the rs200 is now got more power than the 205

Disappointing
As a big fan of CM04 i couldn't wait to get my hands on this but, and initailly i was very impressed with attention to detail, great graphics, loads of cars, more tracks and Career mode. But as time went buy i have found really niggly faults:1: Biggest tell tale sign it doesn't take much skill to drive is that i was still just as quick after several pints of beer!!

ALias Xbox Good but not Great
I have just completed this game in quite a short time around 8 hours duration which is kinda short. But first the good points, good Graphics , pretty good fighting system, Script Dialogue quite witty well the Marshall bits are anyway. OK the bad points & don't shoot me down because i love this show and had high hopes considering the time duration of the making of this game and i have been waiting patiently for it, anyway I think its far to short, it does not to me anyway fit in to season two at all a dramatic world endangering storeyline with Marshall brianwashed into letting people into CIA HQ i find hard believe, too many saves, not enough diversity i mean lock picks and computer hacks and thats it, also end of level bosses too easy one route path to your goals gaurds going invisable in night club level could not see who i was fighting, no Francie or Will in any shape or form no balancing of two lives which was still part of the storey in season two Vaugh walks a bit funny, Plus Vaugh level how short, I was kinda expecting the style of the new 007 game everything or nothing totally cool game graphics, cut scenes action bits, driving, guns, And sidney's costume that she never wears in the show at all, the black stealth suit where the hell the hell did that come from. spoiler don't read this if have not completed game warning warning, OH yeah rubbish ending sid unlocks last door jumps out into helicopter piloted by vaugh the end roll end credits plus Alias has other people in it it would have been great to jack bristow, Dixon, more vaugh levels other than that a good game but could have been better.48

Good game, but beware if playing on Xbox360
One of the best rail shooters I have played, or up to level 3 anyway. If you are planning to buy this for the Xbox360, then the PAL version of the game will crash after level 3. No fix has been released by Microsoft even though they state this game as backward compatible with Xbox360. This problem has been noted on several internet forums so it is not an isolated case.49

THu does it again
Tony hawks underground started out with the first game on playstation, and it was such as hit, that there were many sequeals, tony hawks 2,3 and a 4.But this Tony Hawks game is different, its the first game where you can have amazing features that you couldn't on the previous games,e.g you can pick up your board, jump up ledges put your board down and jump off the ledge meaning freedom to go where you want. The gameplay has improoved but the game just doesn't get the full marks as its easy to complete as well as get sick of it,yes it is a bit repetitive but its a definite game to try if you loved the previous games.51

Review for X-Men 2: Wolverine's Revenge (Xbox):
As with all mutants, Wolverine has unique abilities that set him apart from the rest of humanity – deadly claws to hack and slash foes, animal-like super senses to assist in tracking enemies or avoiding foes, an enhanced mutant healing factor and unbreakable bones to withstand devastating amounts of punishment, and superior strength and reflexes for an added edge in a fight. In X-Men: Wolverine ’ s Revenge players will have to master all of these skills in order to defeat the forces massing against them led by arch-villains Juggernaut, Wendigo, Magneto and Sabertooth. Luckily, players won ’ t have to face the onslaught alone and can expect occasional backup from fellow X-Men including Professor-X and the Beast.

Review for Hulk (XBox):
The game is awesome. Hulk has power but not too much, in fact barely enough to do what is needed. This provides a challenge, which keeps the game interesting. However, the challenges don't continuously come, giving the player a much needed break. Excellent, one of the best movie tie-in games there is.

The opinions toward the upcoming Hulk movie are mixed. With the addition of the Hulk Dogs some say its going to be stupid...yet some say with the great effects and story it will be the summers biggest film. But if you are wondering if Hulk the Game will be good or bad, wonder no more. The game is awesome. Hulk has power but not too much, in fact barely enough to do what is needed. My god, this game is the best! If you are into snowboarding, skating or whatever this is the game for you. Its just difficult enough to make it last for a while, so the gameplay is superb. The graphics could have been a little bit better, but i really dont care because you stop thinking about it the moment you start skating. I have choosen to give this game a 5! because its probably the best game i have to my xbox.55

Review for Xbox Sharp Shooter Gun:
Best so far. dont use for too long tho
I have a 28" Phillips wide screen TV. It works beautifully aims well I don ’ t seem to have a problem with it. Only downside (other than the red bits .. purely aesthetic) is that after a while the bottom bit of the trigger hurts my finger.. It digs in a bit.. it's slightly sharp.. as apposed to the Boss battle gun which looks nicer, clicks nicer has a much better trigger, but is more for two handed use with the reload a pull back at the end and (which feels a bit weak and small and in he end just silly.. as apposed to the sharp shooters one at the bottom of the handle.. would be good if they made a nice shotgun model.. one that moved more than 1 inch and weren ’ t afraid of breaking) all the buttons are at the end (the sharp shooter are all nice and close to the handle where I can use just one hand). Unfortunately the boss battle keeps not sensing my screen and just reloading. Darn it. Mix the two and you ’ d have a very good gun. p.s. the red dot sight is quite cool.. if I was playing from the other side of the room, or house, it might come in handy.. Wire isn ’ t that long to warrant it though.56

What a way to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of our favourite, spikey haired, blue friend. A racing, stunts game for any true blue sonic fan. This game hits the right place in all areas. The more you play the better you get, and even such things as slip stream make this a great alternative to the Mario Kart series. Greatly recommended for Sonic fans young and old.:)57

I bought this for the youngster earlier this year and paid a tenner for it and he tells me it's OK.
Not the best game he has, but not the worst either.
Well worth the tenner and at that it was a good buy, but it is hard to say if we'd have paid much more.
A good addition to your collection if you can get it at a good price.

Review for Greg Hastings' Tournament Paintball (Xbox):
The first thing which bugs me,is you cant zoom in with your weapon, ok i know that you cant do that in Real Paintball, but hey, if u cant see your enemys, how can u shoot them? The next thing has to be the First Person only aspect of the game, with the main aim of the game being to hide, and shoot the others, why on earth cant u see round objects? It baffles me.
This game is more of a tacky extreme sports sim, than 1st person shooter. And it just doesnt work.
Im yet to take it on Xbox Live, because i can just see it being too frustrating. But maybe that will be its saving grace, however, I DOUBT IT!

Review for Cold Fear (Xbox):
On the downside. I couldn't help but feel"I've done this all before." In R.E and The Thing. Very similiar feel to it. But hey..if you haven't played these games you are in for a treat. There was"something" lacking that stopped me giving it 5 stars. Maybe a better storyline would have pushed it and after a while, like ,most shooters it does get repetitive.
BUT it is well worth buying and a great game. It's quite difficult. I completed on Easy level but was killed over 15 times and took me over 5 days (2 hours each day) to complete. I don't think I would do it on hard level. It's creepy as well. So be ready. Good but not great.

CSI - I LIKE IT
As soon as I got this game I put it on my X box.Yes it is just a point and click, but it is more interesting than that. If you have the game on the easy setting then your arrow will show you where the evidence is, put it on difficult then you have to guess.
The first five games on this are quiet easy and don't need you to use your brain much, expect for working out where to go. All of the questions you ask are selectable from the screen.
But the next five games are a bit more detailed. You have to go around asking different people about murders etc, and really work to pick out where the evidence is. This is where you need to be aware of everyone because you get asked a set of questions at the end of each game, and then this along with how you performed and the hint questions asked go towards your percentage score. Once you have completed these rounds, you are then given some extras. There are a few video interviews with a real life CSI person and one with one of the writers.
I love CSI the TV series and I really like this game. The actors from the TV series do the voice overs so you are not listening to a completely different person.
It took me three days on and off to complete the games, and now I am going back over the levels in different difficulties.
It was getting the hang of what tools I had to use to lift finger prints etc.
I would recommend this game if you like mystery/clue based games.
