Review for Worms 3D (Xbox):
The game looks nice and is fun to play, and the muti-player is spot as all worms games have and hopefully will ever be, the controls are well thought out but i would imagine the pc version is a little easier to control but hey they work well and it's nice to beable to sit on the sofa and relax whilst playing.
Ok now a few bad points - the blimp camera is terrible it would be ok if u could zoom in but thats not a feature so it's very hard to pick off many targets which really do require this veiw to either lock on the weapon or if your trying to curl a rocket find the correct angle. the weapons are brilliant as always and look great in 3D but sadly you cannot control many of the weapons your team will start with, for instance the sticky bomb, however some of the weapons schemes do allow this which some may find ok but personally it drives me nuts that im not allowed to. another problem comes in the form of a 3d landscape, all digging tools (eg. blowtorch) have been removed because the game is played in 3rd not first person and would be impossible to see underground, another i find is you often get stuck on small invisible bits of the landscape which can waste valuable seconds especially in the missions.
Something which takes nothing from the game but would have definatly helped would be some form of level design tool, every random generated map ive played ( and thats alot ) has been made up of islands and if not islands 1 large section of land with no form of roof - making using the ninja rope almost impossible.
Overall it's an adverage game - but is still very good fun if you have a few mates round and want something light hearted and relaxing to play, any worms fan such as myself will enjoy the game but will probably feel let down by it - lets hope team17 sort out some of the issues mentioned above and build on many of the games strong points.

A little lacking
Ok lets start with the score, I love worms ive owned every game ever released, so im a little biased towards the games anyway so if your not a huge fan you may want to knock off half maybe even a full star. The game looks nice and is fun to play, and the muti-player is spot as all worms games have and hopefully will ever be, the controls are well thought out but i would imagine the pc version is a little easier to control but hey they work well and it's nice to beable to sit on the sofa and relax whilst playing.

Review for Need for Speed: Carbon (Xbox):
The game idea is a fantastic principle, you slowly take over the city by leading your crew in races against other crews to take over their turf. Main problem with this though is that it only takes a couple of races and then the Turf's yours, second problem is that your partner in the race is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard, I can't think of a time where I have found them useful. Plus side to the turf system is that at least the game doesn't feel so linear, which leads to it's other downside, you don't feel that you're really achieving that much, unlike Most Wanted.
EA seem to have looked quite hard at the race structures themselves and have put in some pleasant, which can quite quickly turn into unpleasant, differences. Circuits and Sprints, will always be Circuits and Sprints, even with your useless wingman, although he can provide you with the occasional chortle as he does something right. Thank god for the return of Drift (All hail the greatest race type) and with some actually significant and well worth changes (even though they take some time to get used too). Instead of drifting wherever you could to make the points, EA have given what I like to call speed sections and drift sections in the tracks, which lead to you building your speed up, and then throwing your car around like a madman in an attempt to rack up the multipliers (gone are the days of a maximum of x5) and the points. Get the perfect amount of speed then pull of the most glorious drift with loads of multipliers and just watch the points roll in like there is no tommorrow. The other style of drift is like downhill in NFSU2, but this time, watch out for the railings they wont hold you on the road or stop you, they'll break and"bye bye racer!" The boss races are all downhill sprints in Carbon Canyon and as in the downhill drift, watch out for the sides or you lose, which can also work in your advantage as you knock your opponent out.
Cop chases are back, but Most Wanted does it a lot better, and so are street races by meeting racers while free-roaming, but like in NFSU2, I didn't really bother too much after I had gotten all the benefits from it.
The graphics are"pretty" (yes I do mean that) but don't give you a real sense of fulfilment like Most Wanted's do, and didn't engage me as much as the afore mentioned game.
All in all, I feel this would have been better off being classed as an add-on pack because I found it so short and was left with the question of"Was that it?"
Let's just hope EA don't turn this series into FIFA, NFL, NBA, NHL, and the rest and view as"another game that people will buy just because its got ......... in the title"
If you want a Need for Speed that you can play, enjoy and get a sense of smug satifaction from completing, go for Most Wanted (shame they didn't do some Drifting tracks but hey the rest of the game makes up) you won't be disapointed.

Review for Full Spectrum Warrior (Xbox):
The levels are pretty good, and there's lots of action in them, but they are also quite linear. There's alley ways and side streets to go down to flank enemy's, but where you can go in the level is quite restricted, forced down certain streets, so how much you can use your imagination to complete the missions is limited.
However saying that, it is alot of fun and you can use a couple of different tactics each time you play a level.
The story is realistic but maybe too realistic, as you know what happens next as it's just like Iraq. The story and levels dont last that long either as once you get a hang of it you can breeze through the levels with relative ease as you know how the enemys will react in almost every encounter. Once finnished, it is quite fun to go back and try a level again, but not that often.
Overall i'd say it's worth buying as its alot of fun and different from other games, but it wont last you as long as others.

Short but sweet
Commanding units to shoot and not shooting yourself is different to most games, but I think it works. It's easy to get the hang of the control system and how the game works. The levels are pretty good, and there's lots of action in them, but they are also quite linear. Review for GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (Xbox):
The level design is awful - bland and void of any surprises or ingenuity.
The controls leave little to be desired - unresponsive and innacurate.
The graphics are poor - they lack the polish and detail found in superior games (Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Chronicles Of Riddick etc).
I'll admit some of the AI is reasonable and the enemies can present a challenge but they disappear as soon as they die. I don't even mean they drop to the floor and disappear gradually after a few seconds like in some games. They actually disappear right in front of you BEFORE they hit the floor - I find this a joke.
I regret to say I bought this game and I couldn't wait to get rid of it. And to the review that compares it to Halo - erm...... it's nothing like Halo - besides both being first person shooters the two games have absolutely nothing in common, and Rogue Agent certainly isn't even close to the kind of quality such games as Halo exude.
Please stay away from this dreadful game - it's the worst James Bond game I have ever played. I've nothing against EA (I own several of their games) but it's obvious they don't know how to make the Bond license work beyond a pretty presentation. This is a prime example - an atrocity of a game.
Harsh but true I'm afraid.

The worst Bond game ever created - would give it no stars if I could!
I realise this game is hardly new and most of the reviews on here are getting on for 2 years old but I felt compelled to write a review. This game is so shockingly poor it's beyond me how some people have posted postitive reviews for it.The level design is awful - bland and void of any surprises or ingenuity.

Review for Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil (Xbox):
On the last day of our holiday in August 2006, I was having final looks Woolworths, HMV and a few other places, and at the time, there was an XBox clearout sale and I saw this game for just under £20. I already picked up Doom 3 for the XBox so I thought it was best killing two birds with one stone and buy the expansion pack, at the same time, so I did! Again, never really had the time to play it much at the start, but when I did, it took me the whole of April in 2007 to complete the game, from start to finish!
In Resurrection Of Evil, the expansion pack of Doom 3, you play as a different marine sent back to Mars to check an area called Site One. There, you will find a power-up called The Artifact. The Artifact is a mystical weapon that controls time allowing the user to evade challenging enemies and enter areas you couldn't have done so without The Artifact. You know that this Artifact does not belong here so you follow Dr. Elizabeth McNeil's advice and find the portal to Delta Labs, which will allow you to take The Artifact back to Hell! Beware; the Maledict is waiting for you!
The expansion pack of the game contains 24 brand new additional levels, a few new enemies and a few new guns. You'll still have those eagerly Demons like the Hell Knight, Tentacle Soldiers, Zombie Machinegun Guards and Revenants, but they are not alone, as they've brought alone The Forgotten Souls, The Vulgar and more. Don't be afraid, as you're classical Shotgun, Plasma Gun, Rocket Launcher and BFG9000 will be accompanied along with the Grabber, Flashlight Pistol, Double Barrelled Shotgun and yet more!
I didn't really find Doom 3: Resurrection Of Evil for the XBox very entertaining on the XBox. One good reason is because my disk kept on wearing out and coming up with errors"Disk Dirty, Disk Damaged, please clean"! Another reason is I find there are too many of the same enemies. In this game you will mostly encounter Vulgar, Revenants & Zombie Machinegun Guards!
My Grade For The Memory Card: 7/10: On The Ball, Down-But Not Out, OK
My Wish: This version of the game to be a bit edited and fixed so that I don't get these disk problems that I very regularly get!
Final Comments: Overall, not a bad sequel. I sort of recommend it if you're a great fan of the Doom games. But when it comes to choice, I still stick with Doom 3 rather than Resurrection Of Evil!

Welcome Back To Planet Mars! You're Trip Though, Won't Be Exciting!!
This is the XBox Version of the Doom 3 series! This is an expansion pack of the game Doom 3 which was released for the PC & The XBox. BUT if you have not played this game on the original N64, then I don’t think I can even speak of a game that is better than this one. Just make sure you know what you are buying before you buy it - I repeat, the solo mode is a carbon copy of the original game.

OK...But Nothing New
I was really looking forward to getting this game...but I was a bit taken aback (and make sure you are fully aware of this before you buy the game) when I found that with the exception of about 3 cutscenes the game was EXACTLY the same as"Conkers Bad Fur Day" on the N64...so be careful there. The Multiplayer is okay, although throughout the time you are playing it becomes increasingly hard to find out who you are, what you are doing, who to shoot (if you can see anything) etc.BUT if you have not played this game on the original N64, then I don’t think I can even speak of a game that is better than this one. Review for The Bard's Tale (Xbox):
Well, The Bard's Tale will provide you with plenty of laughs! It's a good game to play while you friends are watching and laughing with you. OK, all the other RPGs have maybe better graphics (It's a bird's eye view only for walking and fighting); but which other games will teach you a selection of pub songs, which you can sing-a-long with a chorus of drunken scotsmen?
It's all a good fun and when you done all the walking and fighting the cut scenes are brilliant and hillarious and you will want to watch them again. I haven't finished the game yet because I keep stopping and showing all the best bits to everyone!

Review for Family Guy (Xbox):
A buggy interactive family guy episode that fails to impress
Although fairly well presented with witty dialogue, the game really fails to impress. The levels for each character repeat and repeat with very little variation, particularly levels involving Brian which are mainly luck that you are not caught. Stewies levels and remarks are funny but again his levels are constantly repeating. Peter has an unimprssive selection of moves, with particular moves to defeat each type of character, making it difficult to deal with large numbers of enemies. Unlike some games where it is a challenge to try and complete a mission, the family guy missions just become tiring and frustrating, trying to make that last high jump for Stewie or trying to avoid the last cop detecting you in Brians levels. Finally the game is buggy and lacks a polished presentation, i have fallen victim to a bug in the autosave system and am stuck in a family guy purgatory for ever, unable to proceed with the game and am forced to start again. Overall, moderately entertaining but becomes boring quickly. Don't be surprised if you end up starting the game from the beginning because of a bug.71

worst combat game ever
This game is the worst game iv ever played, i thought it was a normal combat shooter at first but when you play it it lets you down completely. When you first go on to the missions the first thing that let me down is all the missions were already unlocked, you can choose any mission of your choice, that is what makes it a pointless game. Also it is not realistic as each time you shoot an enemy you get money and the idea of the game is to build up your money to buy better guns. This is the type of game for people who likes going round just shooting people without no mission. Its a good game if you have all your friends round and you just want to have a little mess about than its good, but other wise its a complete waste of money, take my word for it !!!75

This is a good game for a non seriously serious XBox player. It's easy to pick up, has some good challenges, clues are not to criptic and the ability to build up majic powers is fun. Only downside for me is it's fairly easy to earn cash by trading, once you know how, but otherwise an addictive and enjoyable game for a small price.76

Review for Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (Xbox):
The game can be played either single player and multiplayer and playing the single player i found a little dull and soon found my thumb hurting from bashing the attack button as wave after wave of monsters attacked me.
However get one of your friends around and the fun really starts! the multiplayer part of the game is great! you are also able to import characters from your previous saved games.
The graphics are are nice and bright and the water and spell effects are very nice,The game also has lots of goodies to pick up, swords, bows armour etc as well as shops to buy and sell them in.
I found the game a little short but that might be because when playing multiplayer i found it so much fun,so give this one a go but bring a friend along for the ride.
Also the game is available for around the £20.00 mark now and i also think a follow up game is being released soon.

I bought this game expecting it to be like Baldurs gate on the P.C(a classic role playing game)However what i got was a more arcadey style of game a bit like the arcade classic Gauntlet.

Review for James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing (Xbox):
solid but bitty
This game is solid but because it tries to pack in so much, it's not outstanding at anything. There's also something wrong with James Bond being continously killed.80

Review for Cricket 2005 (Xbox):
Terrible Game
This game is very poor and no better than the original brian lara game in terms of the shots you can play. The game is also graphically flawed as i have had a number of occasions where the ball has gone through the batsmens leg to hit the stumps. Also if you zoom in on a replay you will find that a lot of boundary catches the fielder is actually standing on the rope. The only good thing is the players and stadiums have their proper names apart from that its naff - steer clear

Not complete, could be better
To be a complete anniversary edition, Capcom should have included AT LEAST the Alpha series. That said, this compilation includes Hyper Street Fighter II (a compilation of Street Fighter II, Champion Edition, Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, and Super Street Fighter II: Turbo) together with Street Fighter III: Third Strike.
How many Street Fighter II versions will you play? There is little difference between the versions and if youre like me, youre gonna end up playing the latest of the pack anyway.
So.... Capcom could have saved DVD space here and could include the Alpha series in the mix or even a Street Fighter EX version.
Of all the Street Fighter series, Alpha was my favorite, it had great animation framerate, the best graphics in any SF, fighting was great and had a lot of fighters and cool landscapes to fight in, this compilation is somewhat a letdown to me.
Street Fighter III: Third Strike is one of the best in terms of gameplay, but its not as strong and appealing as SF2 or Alpha series, the reason? The new fighters lack personality, many look like X-Men bizarre beings, full of impossible moves and strange transformations.
Sometimes when playing with my faithful Ken or Ryo duo, i feel like im playing a strange X-Men spacial game, fighting creatures from another world.... that somewhat ruins the athmosphere for me. Alpha had new fighters but also included the classic ones and both had style, coolness and originality. Also, if youre not into Hip-Hop music, youre gonna hate the soundtrack in SF3.
One of the major inclusions is the Street Fighter anime movie, a great manga flick imo.
All in all, if you dont have any SF game for your console, get this..... if you already have SF2 or SF3... avoid, cause besides the movie, its just another incomplete release from Capcom that leaves us wanting more.
If Capcom wants to close a chapter in history, this wasnt the best way to do it. The trick would be to put SF2, Alpha, SF3 and SFEX3 in the same box together with the movie, perhaps one day a complete and worthy release comes out.
