Mainly great, occationally awful

Most of the time, this game is great. Fantastic graphics and handling and loads of cars on the track at once. It's also got an interesting story, which I like. What I don't like is the occational time when you're forced to race something which is so awful you're convinced you'll never progress beyond it. The fact that you eventually do doesn't excuse the fact that the car may handle terribly and slide off the track for no apparent reason. However, when it's good, its very good, so 4 stars.

Medal of Honor: Frontline - Buy it or not?

This game is set during World War 11 and, although the graphics aren't brilliant, the game is reasonably good and the storyline is fine. Personally, I would leave this game and buy the newer one but if you don't mind heads that look like paper then this game might be your kind of game. The only problem is that you can get lost easily in the levels and take hours to complete a single mission.

King Kong All The Way!!

This game is basically the best xbox game out today! The number of amazing features in this game is simply awesome and uncountable. I mean the graphics in this game... WHOA! They are totally shocking. The controls are simple and the best thing about the game is you play as both Jack and you can live the legend as Kong. The game is simple and short and the missions are somewhat varyed in a way. As Jack you get to use weapons like machine guns, shotguns, handguns, spears and even Bones! You also get to fight hugh millepede things, fight bats, funny crabby things, dinosaurs, spiders and even V- Rexs! (although you cannot kill V-Rexs as Jack, only as Kong).And as Kong you get to fight V-Rexs, Giant Worms, Bats and many more! as Kong you can rip things in half, grab and throw objects, rip jaws in half throw enemies, swing on branches, scale walls and even go into fury mode which is when Kong gets really mad and you can tear everything apart. I got this game for Christmas and as soon as I the disc in the console I couldn’t put the controller down!!

Not an improvement

I got this game 2 days ago. Cumulatively, I have played on it for about five hours and completed it.

I was a huge fan of Max Payne when it came out 3 or 4 years ago, and if you've not tried either before then I'd definitely recommend saving your money and getting the first one - it was better in so many ways.

The Fall Of Max Payne is overshadowed by the original in the story-line region - basically, it's strange, it's a bit confusing, and frankly pointless. It's about Max's love-affair with a (female) criminal. The story-line of Max Payne was far better thought-out.

Max Payne 2 is also way, way too short, which is a great disappointment because Max Payne was lengthy, and kept you playing because it's story-line was so gripping and intense.

However, it's not all bad - The Fall of Max Payne has the same beautiful graphic quality and rendering as it's predecessor, although some textures are bit low-quality.

The environments are nicely designed, and very interactive, in as much as any small boxes, bottles, general stuff that you run into, will move. But you can't shoot boxes open any more!

None of the areas of the game are particularly based on strategy, and when they are, it's pretty obvious what to do, which is probably partly responsible for it being so short.

The weapons are similar, the physics are the same, the bullet-time is still cool, and if you're after something to satisfy the simple desire to run through a game and blast the enemy with round after round of gunfire, then this will be the best thing for it.

The violence level is just the same, with the added spice of regular extreme language, and 'scenes of a sexual nature' as the cencorship people put it......which was a bit of a surprise!

Not the best, but worth trying.

Rooting, tooting, looting.....and of course shooting!

Im not a big fan of western films, never have been and probably never will be. But saying that a few good western films have entertained me in the past, so when this game cropped up, i thought i would check it out.

First things first, yes the old cliche, it is GTA in the days of cowboys and indians.

Presentation - Gun is very well presented. From the opening scenes you can tell that the game is going to run on a good story. Loading screens take a abit of time from the main menu but once the game is actually loaded they are non existant

Graphics - Xbox pulls this off well. The landscapes are vast and distant. The viewing distance is pretty far so you can see rocks and valleys from a good distance without noticable clipping. The player models are well detailed, with some nice cigar smoke effects from some of the customers. I do have a slight gripe that i wish there was some more detail in the game. Where the landscapes are big, they could use a little more detail along with the town buildings as well.

Sound - Excellent soundtrack, sounds like its being ripped straight from a major hollywood movie. The game has a good supporting cast with the likes of Lance Henrikson (aliens,the quick and the dead), Ron Pearlman (alien resurrection, hellboy) and tom skerritt (alien) hmmmm am i sensing a cast theme here?
The general sound effects sound great also.

Gameplay - Gun plays fairly well, the controls are not too difficult to handle and the horse riding is very simplistic. Actually using your rifle while riding could of proven to be very difficult, but the controls in the game make it pretty straight forward with a good decent difficulty curve to master. The missions in the game a pretty varied however they do pretty much involve shooting folk.

Last Appeal - Gun isnt that difficult a game to complete. With the side missions on offer such as ransoms, helping towns folk, marhsal duty, card games and extras like finding gold mines to dig, it should keep you going for a while. I cant help feel though that the developers could of added more stuff in this game. Perhaps a little more variety in missions and a more missions itself would be good. I dont think the game would take most folk more than a week or 2 to complete and once done there isnt really much more to go back for.

Overall View
The game does good, it has enough for those that are looking something abit more different that driving around streets completing missions (which there seems to be alot around). gun is good, and just about that.

Fantasticly fun game!

This game is seriously fun to play, has great music and awesome graphics. You can actually get put off racing the Ferrarri's by looking at the scenery! People that say this game is terrible and that no one can ever beat the original Outrun from many moons ago are totally missing the point! It's not trying to beat the original classic and Sega/Sumo Digital have got the balance just right to create a supurb, fun to play, not too serious, Ferrarri drifting rollercoaster of a game. The game most definantly has that feel you can only get from a Sega game. Things are kept interesting also as the more you play, the more goodies you can unlock and there are some interesting play modes for sure (trying to excite your lady friend by taking corners sideways anyone?). Rounding things up, try Outrun 2 out! You just might like it :)

When I received this game as a reward, I was excited as it was the first cricket game I had ever received.

This game is very easy to pick up, very realistic, you can create your own character which I'm not a fan of but there a few bad points...

Let me explain...

When you want to play on normal mode or multiplayer, the players on teams don't have their correct names and are not the same people.
This can be frustrating when you see that the tournaments have the correct players and names and when the game designers could have spent more time fixing this problem.
The graphics aren't anything special but are quite good.

A worthy purchase for a worthy series

Quite simply put, this is an excellent purchase. You get the best games of the series, Streetfighter 2 Hyper and Streetfighter 3: 3rd Strike. On top of that theres the best of the streetfghtrer films included and xbox live play, at such a low price you cant lose!!

grate jurrasic park better then the film better then grate

i first have to say im not a good speller so read carefully,first of all i think this game is grate,wait a miunit not grate... perfect thats it.I found out about this on a ps2 book and i got it that was tops 3 stars becouse it wasent that good but this,this is grate u can have 18 dino’s in it insted of 9 like in the ps2 version of jurrasic park(rubbish)but u will think the ps2 version is good untill u get the xbox version u will be throwing the ps2 version in the bin without having the trouble of selling it it seems that rubbish.Iv u haven’t got it yet and u want to get it,DONT GET THE PS2 ONE IT IS NOT AS GOOD!!!!!!instead get the xbox one and iv its too much save up for it becouse it is worth it for such a grate game.

it is all about u biulding a park like a theam park instead u have to make your visitors happy with up to 100 people in youpark at once u have to get difrent dino’s by getting there fossols with your fossole team and making them into dino’s make sure thay eat drink and be happy with over 20 dino’s in it including all the one’s from the 3 movies of corse the charicters are there from the movies to which do difrent jobs like a weather man when he warns u to keep your dino’s safe becouse theres a twister or storm comming(oh and save the visitors too.I like letting my trex or spinosuras go mentle from hunger and let him out to say hello to the visitors untill thay are all gone then my chopper does thge job by putting to sleep the trex oh corse theres a site b too where u can let your dono’s go wiled and let nature take its way and whach the show by making your very onw iland u also get info on the dino and thay do what it sez like the raptors really work as a team to get fast pray like galliminus its so fun also when u hyuave to get the right dino’s for the right people some like gory some like playing dino’s and some like how pritty your park is but it is up to u(once again DO BOT GET THE PS2 VERSION IT MY BE CHEAP BUT IT IS RUBBISH)

So..there i was had an argument with my brother...i won... could pick any game i wanted...then it just gleamed at me, i saw the 1st reveiw of this game title and thought wow! what a cool game and im sure a lot of other people thought that aswell!
...But....here comes the bit they didn't explain, this is coming from a gaming expert-ice.The game is good for the first month or two. but believe me after those couple of months it gets
B-O-R-I-N-G. Then i tried the missions,boring,tried the exercises,and guess what..you got it..B-O-R-I-N-G!!!! i finaly unlocked site b, and site b is where the origional jurassic park is and that was M-I-N-D N-U-M-B-I-N-G-L-Y B-O-R-I-N-G it was like when the t rex went into a coma you cant have a ranger station to revive it SO DINO GO BYE-BYE!
SO PLEASE I WANT YOU TO PICK UP THE GAME NEXT TO JURRASSIC PARK, SAVE YOUR SELVES THE AGONY.

best ever harry potter

THIS GAME IS THE BEST HARRY POTTER GAME EVER THE GRAPHICS ARE GOOD AND YOU CAN DO ALMOST ANYTHING THE OTHER GAMES GOT A BIT BORING THIS ONE TELLS YOU ALOT AND ITS EASIER TOO UNDERSTAND TAKE IT FROM ME IF YOU LIKE HARRY POTTER YOU GONNA LOVE THIS

SUPRISING AND SNEAKY! WAIT WHAT WAS THAT?! URGH!!!

I don't need a maximum of 1000 words to describe this game. It's ace and I like doing inverted neck breaks on stupid guards who follow the noise in the dark. Next thing... whing, thriwp, aaaaaaaaaaaaarrghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
CLASSIC PIECE OF GAMING YOU CAN'T MISS!

Not a classic, but not bad either...

Headhunter Redemption encorporates elements from several gameplay genres, including stealth, 3rd person shooter elements and some fairly straight forward (for the most part) puzzle solving. Each of these components are pretty good, if not spectacular, but what really shines through with this game is the great storyline and atmosphere that is really helped by a fantastic musical score. In spite of a few niggles, most notably the characters annoying habit of sticking to a wall during stealth mode, this game comes together really well and is well worth the 20 - 25 hours or so that you'll need to complete it.

The two towers

Ok i got this game for my christmas and thought it would be like the previous game"the fellowship of the ring" which was good for gameplay but not for fighting.But this game is simple but fun all you do is fight through a few levels which is more fun than you can possibly imagane.And the bonus level and character is very rewarding.

An amazing game......Streets of rage all over again

Imagine the classic megadrive game Streets of Rage brought into the new millenium and with LOTS more blood and lots more gore, and you essentially have the new Mortal Kombat game. You play as Liu Kang or Kung Lao (to start with) and you journey around earth and Outworld where u basically kick the living daylights out of anything that crosses your path until you bump into bosses like Mileena, Scorpion and Baraka. I've heard people slate the graphics on the game, saying they're not the usual Xbox standards............. how can people even begin to say it, they're amazing!

The downsides to the game are..............none! Except for perhaps you could have played as all of the characters once you unlocked them as it would have increased the replay value a hundredfold, but apart fromt hat, the game is mint!

Humourous and good fun

Offering a different playing experience to most other games. It has been stated that this is pitched at younger players, however I found it fun and pleasureable to play (and I'm 35) as it is both challenging and maintains your interest, always wanting you to continue to see what's in the next room.

The graphics are very good and if you perservere after the initial easyish levels you will discover it has more depth than it at first appears,

The story revolves around your attempts to search and rescue your girlfriend from a large mansion habited by a variety of spooks and ghouls, where every room has a different task/challenge to overcome before you can progress to the next room. These challenges generally revolve around destroying various monsters but a different slant is in place each time which ensures you having to approach each challenge differently, utilising a variety of weapons along the way.

As well as the main game there is a host of seperate lockable challenges which add to the overall shelflife of the game. All in all a worthwhile game which I would recommend. My favourite game is Halo so I wouldn't naturally have gravitated towards this but am very pleased I gave it a go.

Better than Halo 2

WOW, what a game.

I wasnt really expecting that much from this game, being the studios first game and being based on such a dissapointing movie. Lucky the game features an all new plot set before Pitch Black. The story is really involving and does not dissapoint. Vin Desiels voice and likeness are featured in the game, and really help to emerse you into the world of Richard B. Riddick.

The graphics in this game are amazing, no annoying pop-up textures like in Halo 2. They do a great job of getting across the gloom and depression of the Butcher Bay Prison.

The game play here is varied and very involving. Most missions can either be tackled by the use of stealth or by simple run and gun tactics. A few times the game may force you to use one option or the other, but these are few and far between.

The stealth dynamics are really welll handled considering this is a 1st person game. When you are hidden in stealth mode the screen takes on a blue tint and when your not it turns red. This makes for some very interesting and dramatic stealth kills.

The sound is well handled too, with all the voice overs putting alot of depth into the characters voice. This again helps you to become imersed in the game.

Overall this is a very enjoyable game. Not a straight out and out FPS, but still highly enjoyable. I enjoyed this alot more than Halo 2. The only down side to the game is that its quite short, but its not really a problem. There are lots of things to collect and extras to unlock so this also increases the replayability.

A HIGH DETAILED GAME, LOTS TOO DO AND LOTS OF FUNNY MOMENTS. THE CONTROLS CAN BE SET TOO WHAT EVER YOU WANT IT. GRAPICS ARE SPOT ON MAKING USE OF THE XBOXES POWER. A UNDERATED GAME ITS WASNT A TOP SELLER BUT WHAT A HIDDEN GEM I HAVE FOUND.
